Abstract

This study aims to empirically analyze and test the simultaneous and partial impact of E-Kinerja (electronic performance system) implementation and the provision of Reward on the Performance of Village Officials within the Jembrana Regency Government. The background of this study is based on the challenges faced by the Jembrana Regency Government in measuring and evaluating the performance of its numerous village officials, which led to the adoption of the E-Kinerja system as a more objective and accurate assessment solution. The research method used is hypothesis testing with Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. Primary data was collected from 67 Village Officials via questionnaires. The results indicate that E-Kinerja and Reward simultaneously have a significant and positive influence on Village Officials Performance, with a Correlation Coefficient (R) of 0.731, classified as a strong relationship. The Coefficient of Determination (R2) of 0.535 suggests that 53.5% of the performance variation can be explained by these two independent variables. Partially, both E-Kinerja (β1 = 0.288) and Reward (β2 = 0.490) were found to have a positive and significant effect. In conclusion, the implementation of E-Kinerja and the provision of Reward are crucial factors that significantly contribute to improving the quality of Village Officials' performance in Jembrana Regency.

Abstract

Antenatal care (ANC) visits play a crucial role in reducing maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality. However, the utilization of ANC services remains inconsistent and is influenced by multiple interrelated factors. This study aims to comprehensively examine the factors affecting ANC visits through a literature review approach. The literature search was conducted using PubMed, Google Scholar, and ScienceDirect databases, covering publications from 2020 to 2025. Articles were selected through a systematic screening process based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. From the four articles that met the inclusion criteria, a number of consistent patterns and themes emerged. The selected studies were analyzed using a narrative synthesis to identify recurring themes and patterns. The findings indicate that ANC visits are shaped by several key determinants, including maternal knowledge, family support particularly from husbands accessibility of health facilities, socio-economic conditions, and geographical barriers. In addition, risk perception of pregnancy and the perceived quality of health services also influence mothers’ decisions to attend regular ANC visits. These results highlight that ANC utilization is not merely an individual behavior, but rather a product of the interaction between personal, social, and structural factors. From a theoretical perspective, this study reinforces the multidimensional health behavior framework. In terms of policy and practice, the findings emphasize the importance of comprehensive interventions that integrate family involvement, community-based strategies, and improved access to maternal health services.

Abstract

Preeclampsia ranks among the major contributors to maternal mortality, together with bleeding and infection. This condition is characterized by hypertension and proteinuria that occurs after 20 weeks of gestation, and can cause serious complications if not treated early. This study aims to investigate the association between maternal age, parity, and obesity with the incidence of preeclampsia among pregnant women. The research method used was quantitative with a cross-sectional approach, using secondary data from medical records and analyzed univariately and bivariately using the chi-square test. The population in this study consists of all pregnant women who were recorded in the medical records or identified within the specific study period (2022–2024). Based on the context provided in the introduction, the population specifically refers to pregnant women monitored for preeclampsia risk factors (age, parity, and obesity). The total sample size used in this study is 57 pregnant women. The study utilizes secondary data derived from medical records between 2022 and 2024.The results showed that of the 19 pregnant women who experienced preeclampsia, 73.70% were in the risk age category (<20 years or >35 years), and statistical tests showed a notable association was found between age and the incidence of preeclampsia (p = 0.024; OR = 3.850). Meanwhile, there was no There is no significant relationship between parity (p = 0.851) and obesity (p = 0.255) in relation to the incidence of preeclampsia. These findings suggest that maternal age is an important risk factor that needs to be considered in efforts to prevent preeclampsia. Therefore, routine pregnancy monitoring and education about the risks of pregnancy at extreme ages are highly recommended to reduce maternal morbidity and mortality.

Abstract

The condition of premature rupture of membranes (PROM) is when the amniotic membrane ruptures before the labor stage. PROM remains known to be a material disease as a definite cause does not yet exist, but there are some suspicious internal or external circumstances associated with this condition.Complications of premature rupture of membranes (PROM) include complications in labor and puerperium, prolonged parturition, and an increase in the number of obstetric surgeries performed. Internal causes of PROM include parity, maternal age, cervical incompetence, polyhydramnios, and fetal presentation.Worldwide, PROM is 1.3%, with 8-10% of aterm pregnant women experiencing it in stable condition. Objective: Identify factors that increase the likelihood of premature rupture of membranes during pregnancy. Methods: This observation is based on a literature review of articles published in national and international journals. This article was published in 2020-2024 to ensure the information obtained is actual. Two databases that can be used to conduct article searches are PubMed and Google Scholar from 15 articles. By providing a summary of the discussion, it aims to improve understanding of the topic. This method can provide information about reality and literary analysis and insights, which allows for a good and relevant summary of the society to compare the results presented in the article. Results: Five national and five international articles found that parity, history of PROM, maternal age, gestational distance, anemia, employment status, infection, smoke exposure, and smoking behavior were risk factors for PROM. Some articles also found pregnancy, hereditary history, pregnancy status, fetal location, uterus, and gestational age.

Abstract

In the context of the rapid global growth of the halal tourism industry, this study examines the role of halal tourism in fostering regional economic development in Pati Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. The research focuses on two prominent spiritual tourism sites: the Tomb of Sheikh Ahmad Mutamakkin in Kajen and the Tomb of Sheikh Ronggo Kusumo, which serve as significant pilgrimage destinations rooted in Islamic heritage. This qualitative field study employs in-depth interviews with key informants including officials from the Pati Regency Youth, Sports and Tourism Office and Trade Office, tomb caretakers, village government representatives and local traders supplemented by secondary data sources. Findings reveal that the presence of these halal tourism destinations has significantly enhanced local economic activity through increased trade, service provision and micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) development. Both sites comply with the Global Muslim Travel Index (GMTI) halal tourism criteria including the provision of Muslim-friendly facilities, halal food availability and cultural preservation. Furthermore, the study identifies a distinct local wisdom-based entrepreneurship model practiced by traders around these sites, characterized by values such as religiosity, honesty, discipline, hard work, creativity, innovation, independence, responsibility, cooperation, leadership, perseverance, risk-taking propensity, commitment, realism, curiosity, effective communication, strong achievement motivation, generosity and action orientation. The integration of local wisdom into entrepreneurial practices emerges as an effective and sustainable strategy for developing inclusive halal tourism, thereby contributing to regional economic growth and community welfare in Pati Regency.
