Abstract

The influence of Human Resources Management (HR) on the Performance of Educational Institutions refers to how the practices and policies implemented in managing human resources in educational institutions influence the results or performance of the institution. The performance of educational institutions can be measured through various indicators such as teaching quality, student achievement, operational efficiency and staff satisfaction. By managing human resources effectively, educational institutions can improve overall performance, which will ultimately benefit students, staff and society at large. This research uses a qualitative approach, collecting data using observation, interviews and documentation. This research was conducted to find out how human resource management influences the performance of educational institutions, which refers more to the implementation implemented in an educational institution.  Because educational institutions are more commonly known as schools, the researcher took the school as an object and conducted research at one of the schools in Sangatta, Kab. East Kutai MTs Hubbul Wathon. The researcher included several formulations of general problems that often occur in the implementation of human resources in an educational institution.

Abstract

SMAN 1 Sangatta Utara faces several challenges in enhancing its educational quality, including teacher competency in implementing student-centered learning, technology integration, teacher communication and collaboration, and effective monitoring and evaluation of learning processes. To address these challenges, the school has implemented educational supervision strategies. This study investigates the effectiveness of these strategies in improving learning quality. Data was collected through in-depth structured interviews with the school principal, supervisors, teachers, and students. Classroom observations were conducted to examine the implementation of supervision strategies. The findings indicate that the supervision strategies comprise two components: planning and implementation. The implementation of these strategies has demonstrated positive impacts on learning quality, as evidenced by indicators such as improved teacher competency, technology integration, teacher communication and collaboration, and student learning outcomes. However, some limitations remain, such as insufficient time and resources for supervision activities.

Abstract

The Prima Swarga Bara Education Foundation (YPPSB) recognizes the importance of proper and effective writing in ensuring good communication with various parties, including students, parents, staff, and partners. This research uses a qualitative approach with text analysis and interview methods to delve into the complexities of writing errors. This approach is chosen because the main focus of the research lies in identifying and understanding in depth the errors in official letters through careful analysis of letter examples. Analysis of common grammatical errors found, such as the use of incorrect words, ineffective sentences, and misuse of punctuation. In the case of the announcement letter for the results of the YPPSB PPDB 2021-2022, there is an error in the section "Dear Mr./Mrs." (should be "Dear Mr./Mrs. [Recipient Name]". In addition, there is the use of informal language that is not in accordance with the context of an official letter. Grammatical and spelling errors indicate a lack of attention to detail and professionalism on the part of the sender. This can make the recipient doubt the sender's credibility and ability to convey the message. Writing errors, such as grammatical, spelling, format, and structural errors, can have a serious impact on the recipient's perception and the overall effectiveness of communication.

Abstract

Education is inseparable from the learning process that is systematically arranged. Value education is not only a special program taught by several subjects, but also includes the entire learning process. Integrating values into learning is a process of directing educational exemplars aimed at instilling life values that contain noble, social, moral, and ethical values to foster students with insight. Wisdom, whole character, honorable person and fundamental ability for self, society and the State. This research aims to provide a better understanding of the importance and how to implement the integration of science material with Islamic values for science learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This research uses qualitative research methods with the type of library research or called Library Research. This research provides a deeper understanding of how the implementation of integrating science materials with Islamic values for science learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The result of this research is integrating religious values in a subject matter a teacher must be able to include religious values such as faith and devotion by linking them in the learning material to be taught.

Abstract

Islamic family law reform has been carried out by many Muslim countries. The purpose of the reform is to produce legal products that are in accordance with the needs of modern society in the country. One of the countries that renewed Islamic family law is the United Arab Emirates. The United Arab Emirates renewed the Islamic Family Law by reinterpreting the texts of the Qur'an and Hadith and based on the principles of family law in the Maliki school. This research aims to find out how the dynamics of Islamic family law reform in the United Arab Emirates. This research is a type of library research. The data is collected using documentation techniques, namely the collection of written data in the form of scientific articles of research results and books related to the research. The results of this study found that the United Arab Emirates first codified family law in 1985. Then in 2005 reformed its family law by issuing Federal Law Number 28 of 2005 concerning Personal Legal Status. In reforming family law, the United Arab Emirates used the method of talfiq and ijtihad. The elements of reform in Federal Law No. 28/2005 on Personal Legal Status include: marriage, marriage contract and registration, age of marriageability and kafa'ah, relationship between husband and wife, divorce, and khuluk.

Abstract

Problems with the learning outcomes of class VII motivate this research. The research focuses on a student who is performing at a standard level, highlighting their lack of mastery of the material. This research aims to determine whether there is an improvement in the learning outcomes of class VII. In the 2024/2025 academic year, a student at MTsN 6 Tabalong studied the Thaharah material using the al-tathbiq method. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in 2 learning cycles. The research subjects were class VII. The study involved 30 students from class VII at MTsN 6 Tabalong. We collected data for this research through observation, tests, and documentation. The results of the observations and tests will be analyzed to determine the effectiveness of the al-tathbiq method in enhancing students' understanding of thaharah. By comparing pre- and post-test scores, the study aims to provide insights into the method's impact on student engagement and knowledge retention. The research results showed an increase from the pre-cycle to cycle I and cycle II. The pre-cycle results showed that 12 students completed the fiqh learning on the thaharah material, with a percentage of 38%. In cycle I, 16 students completed it, representing a 51% completion rate. Meanwhile, in cycle II, all 30 students completed it, with a percentage of 100%.

Abstract

The Qur'an and Hadith are guidelines for Muslims. The issue of education is also inseparable from the auspices of the Qur'an and Hadith. Many messages conveyed in the Qur'an and Hadith are related to education, especially family education. The family as a fundamental aspect must certainly have a clear direction, so that the children produced from this institution can be born into quality individuals. Adolescence is a time when a person is easily influenced and wants freedom. Especially in today's society. Of course, the challenges faced by teenage children and their parents will be greater. So that messages from the Qur'an and Hadith are needed as guidelines in educating teenage children in the era of society. This research method uses library research with a qualitative approach. Sources related to the Qur'an, Hadith and family education are analyzed so as to form a writing that can answer the formulation of the problem in this article. The results show that the Qur'an and Hadith play a very important role in the education of adolescent children, especially for those who grow up and develop in the era of society. This is shown through the messages in the Qur'an and Hadith. These messages include how to instill faith, worship and morals in children. These messages can be used as basic guidelines for parents in educating teenage children in facing the era of society 5.0.

Abstract

This article discusses the integration of fiqh siyasa with the electoral system in the context of Muslim-majority countries. Islamic politics in Indonesia is an important part of the country’s political landscape, reflecting its pluralism and democracy. Islamic politics involves Islamic-based political parties and religious-based groups participating in elections, respecting religious freedom, minority rights, and encouraging interfaith cooperation. Using normative and comparative approaches, this study analyzes how Islamic principles such as deliberation, bai’at, justice, and accountability are applied in modern electoral practices. Case studies in Indonesia, Iran, Turkey, and Malaysia show that despite differences in approach, sharia values can still coexist with democratic systems. However, challenges such as money politics, vote manipulation, and tensions between positive law and religious norms are serious obstacles. Therefore, this article proposes a reconstruction of electoral law that is contextual but still based on Islamic values, by involving the active role of ulama, fatwa institutions, and Islamic parties in creating fair, honest, and dignified elections.

Abstract

Textbooks are a crucial aspect of education. The researcher investigated Arabic language learning using the textbook "I Love Arabic" based on observations conducted previously at an elementary school in Bekasi. The study involved 10 students and 1 teacher. Research instruments included interviews, observations, and documents. The results showed that the "I Love Arabic" textbook significantly aided teachers in conducting Arabic language learning activities. Supporting factors for success included relevant curriculum-aligned content, appropriate language aspects, and a focus on the four language skills. However, some limitations of using this textbook were challenging exercises due to insufficient material, extensive vocabulary memorization within a single chapter, and student interest affecting classroom learning dynamics.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education begins with efforts to enhance teachers' teaching performance and job satisfaction. One of the effective approaches is academic supervision conducted by the school principal, which provides guidance and support to help teachers achieve established learning objectives. Effective academic supervision makes teachers feel more valued and supported, thereby increasing their job satisfaction. This study examines the significant influence of the principal's academic supervision on teachers' teaching performance and job satisfaction. It employs a correlational study design with a quantitative approach using survey techniques. Data was collected through a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire distributed to 112 teachers at several high-performing private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Hulu Sungai Utara. The data was analyzed using SEM-PLS through SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results reveal that principal's academic supervision at high-performing private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Hulu Sungai Utara has very high average scores: 4.35 for teachers' teaching performance and 4.44 for teachers' job satisfaction. Hypothesis testing using SmartPLS indicates a significant influence of the principal's academic supervision on teachers' teaching performance (T-Statistic 30.535 > T-table 1.982, P Value 0.000 < 0.05) and on teachers' job satisfaction (T-Statistic 15.113 > T-table 1.982, P Value 0.000 < 0.05). Simultaneously, the principal's academic supervision significantly influences teachers' teaching performance with an R-Square value (R² = 0.775) or 77.5% and teachers' job satisfaction with an R-Square value (R² = 0.615) or 61.5%.
