Data analysis was conducted using the PLS 3.0 application, which indicates that liquidity and asset growth have a positive influence on firm value, while capital structure has a negative influence on firm value. Profitability does not have a significant influence on firm value. Additionally, liquidity has a negative influence on capital structure, while profitability and asset growth do not have a significant influence on capital structure. Capital structure can act as a mediator in the influence of liquidity on firm value, but does not act as a mediator in the influence of profitability and asset growth on capital structure.

Abstract

An energy audit is a technique used to calculate the amount of energy consumed in buildings and identify ways to reduce it. The Kediri District Office Building currently uses electrical energy efficiently. However, an energy audit is still necessary to determine the amount of electrical energy used, the IKE value, and identify opportunities for energy savings in the Kediri Sub-District Office Building. The data shows that several rooms in the building do not meet the IKE criteria. Out of 13 rooms, 5 are categorized as wasteful, 1 as efficient, 5 as efficient, and 2 as very efficient based on their IKE calculation. To save electrical energy, consider replacing the AC unit and calculating the necessary cooling capacity (PK) for each room based on its area. Additionally, changing the type of load can help meet IKE criteria without compromising the load's function. After implementing the energy-saving method, the Kediri Sub-District Office Building's average monthly electrical energy consumption decreased to 3,233.52, resulting in an annual consumption of 38,802.24. The IKE calculation for each of the 13 rooms showed that 2 rooms were categorized as very efficient, 8 rooms as efficient, and 3 rooms as quite efficient.  This resulted in an average energy savings of 746.28 per month and cost savings of Rp. 1,268,325 per month.  The English version of the abstract is written using English in the form of past tense and appropriate sentences. Results and conclusions are written in present tense. Abstracts are expected to be more communicative and not monotonous. Text length between 150-250 words. Writing abbreviations and mathematical formulas in the abstract needs to be avoided. The abstract briefly explains the problem, objectives, methods, results and conclusions.

Abstract

This research investigates the correlation between service quality, user experience, and user satisfaction in website design for students with low vision disabilities undergoing final assignment guidance at Brawijaya University. Using a quantitative approach via questionnaires, data was collected from students and relevant academics at the Disability Service Center. Analysis revealed a positive and significant relationship between service quality and user experience, with service quality also impacting user satisfaction. Moreover, user experience partially mediated the relationship between service quality and user satisfaction. This study contributes to understanding the dynamics of website design for this demographic, emphasizing the pivotal role of user experience in enhancing satisfaction, particularly among individuals with disabilities. Organizations, especially Disability Service Centers, can utilize these findings to enhance website accessibility and academic support. However, limitations include sample size constraints and the singular institutional focus, suggesting avenues for future research to broaden the scope and depth of understanding through qualitative methods.

Abstract

Contemporary dance is a dance art that is popular with not only Generation Z but also the millennial generation, which is currently the age of parents who already have teenage children. The increasing problems in children and adolescents that occur today are often caused by a lack of good internal communication through interpersonal communication between parents and their children. As the growth of digital media consumption, especially social media, occurs in Indonesia, it also affects the lack of communication within the family or even between neighbors, making it difficult to communicate and coordinate with each other. Through this research, it is hoped that it can help mothers and young women to be able to make dance a medium of communication between generations to be able to create harmonious and useful collaborative activities in fostering communication not only for the smallest social environment, namely the family but also for the community of Dadap village residents to create harmonious relationships between residents, especially between generations.

Abstract

This article discussed the persistence of ethnic conflicts around the world, evolving from post-World War II national disputes to internal conflicts driven by ethnic and intergroup tensions. These problems impeded democratization and remained crucial to the development of societies and national identities. Ethnic violence was an example of political violence rooted in ethnic hatred. Countries such as the United States, with its racially and ethnically diverse population, faced significant challenges of ethnic discrimination against Japanese immigrants. Japanese immigration to the United States, especially in California, which began in the mid-1880s, was driven by labor shortages following the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 and later by economic difficulties in Japan. United States immigration policies, especially the Acts of 1917 and 1924, imposed restrictions on Asian immigrants, which impacted Japanese immigration. This study, using qualitative research with a descriptive overview through the densho.org portal, aimed to analyze Japanese ethnic violence in California. Racism and economic competition fueled anti-Japanese violence. Anti-Japanese sentiment increased, especially after the attack on Pearl Harbor, which led to the mass internment of Japan-American.

Abstract

Auditing in the digital age has faced significant transformation, giving rise to a new paradigm that brings challenges and opportunities for audit practitioners. The method used in this research is qualitative research that aims to explore new perspectives in audit practice with a focus on accounting, by conducting a comprehensive literature review of recent publications in related academic journals, as well as current research reports in audit and accounting practice. The result of the study is that in the face of increasing complexity and volume of data, the use of technology and sophisticated data analysis is key in improving the efficiency, accuracy, and relevance of the audit process. However, adapting to rapid technological developments, data security issues, and maintaining audit quality remain challenges that need to be overcome. On the other hand, digital solutions enable better collaboration between auditors and clients, respond more quickly to business changes, and provide greater value-added services. Thus, the new paradigm in auditing presents significant challenges, but also opportunities to improve audit practices to be more effective, relevant, and adaptive in the changing digital era.

Abstract

Recent reviews in auditing practices have brought significant changes in the way companies manage and report their financial information. In this context, new perspectives in accounting play a key role in determining an effective and relevant audit approach. This article presents a thorough review of recent developments in audit practice and relevant new perspectives in accounting. The research method proposed to explore Recent Reviews in Audit Practice: New Perspectives in Accounting will begin with a literature review approach. This approach will make it possible to investigate and compile a strong theoretical foundation from various sources of information such as journal articles, books, research reports, and other relevant documents. The result of the study is that recent reviews in audit practice have shown a significant paradigm shift in accounting, which is influenced by technological advances and the rapid dynamics of the business environment. The adoption of advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence and data analysis, has enabled auditors to improve efficiency and accuracy in the audit process, while a risk-based approach has helped them identify and manage relevant risks for clients. These changes require auditors to continuously improve their skills and knowledge, keeping up with technological developments and accounting-related regulations. Success in modern audit practice also depends on the ability to adapt to the rapidly changing and complex business environment.
