Abstract

The National University of Education has launched a flagship initiative to improve the quality of education by organizing industry workshops for students. This is not just an ordinary study activity, but a valuable opportunity for students to broaden their horizons about the world of work and business systems, especially in the chocolate industry. These workshops are held at institutions outside of Undiknas, allowing students to experience first-hand the chocolate production process and utilization strategies. The students are not just observers but are actively involved in every stage of the activity. This gives them an in-depth understanding of the intricacies of the chocolate industry, from production to marketing strategies. By actively participating in the workshop, students were able to hone their industry-relevant skills, enhance their practical skills and expand their professional network. Thus, this activity not only enhances knowledge, but also helps students prepare for the challenges of an increasingly competitive world of work. Thus, this workshop activity to the industry is one of the important steps in supporting the lecture activity program of the National Education University in creating graduates who are ready to compete and contribute to the dynamic world of brown industry.

Abstract

In the era of the Merdeka Curriculum, which is integrated with technological developments, requires a science teacher to carry out his duties professionally. One part of the teacher's professionalism is understanding learning theory. Behavioristic learning theory, which tends to be teacher-centered, is still often used by teachers even though the curriculum has changed because the application of this theory in learning is still relevant and works well. One of the results of research conducted by Yuliani (2020) entitled “Development of E-Book Learning Media with a Behavioristic Approach to Science Subjects for Class IX Students of SMP 24 Banjarmasin” states that the behavioristic approach shows a positive influence on improving student achievement. The results of analyzing student learning using the N-Gain test are 0.8 (included in the high classification). The results of this study indicate that the behavioristic flow in the era of the independent curriculum is able to increase learning motivation even though the application of behavioristic flow tends to be teacher-centered. The urgency of behavioristic flow in the implementation of learning is to maximize the role of teachers, especially in improving student discipline.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the dynamics of internationalization among wood processing SMEs, examining the relationship between digital marketing strategies (X1), financial management practices (X2), financial literacy (X3), and export performance. With globalization reshaping markets, SMEs engaged in wood processing face opportunities and challenges in entering global markets. Through a mixed-methods approach, including quantitative analysis and interviews with industry experts, this study delves into the mechanisms through which digital marketing initiatives, effective financial management, and increased financial literacy contribute to the export success of wood processing SMEs. The research population includes wood processing SMEs actively involved in export, while the sample is purposively selected. Samples of this research are 136 MSMEs.Data were obtained through structured surveys and in-depth interviews with industry stakeholders. Data analysis techniques include regression analysis to test the relationship between independent variables (X1, X2, and X3) and the dependent variable (export performance). The findings indicate that digital marketing practices, effective financial management, and high financial literacy significantly contribute to enhancing the export performance of wood processing SMEs, with practical implications for the development of better strategies in facing global markets.

Abstract

The era of digital transformation has made the MSME industry in Indonesia become technology literate, one of which is Husqy Petshop. Husqy Petshop is transforming by creating e-commerce which makes transaction accessibility easier. The development of the Husqy Petshop e-commerce application must pay attention to the right User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) so that it can be used by users comfortably. User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) are two important aspects of application design that play a role in the interaction between users and products. Good UI/UX design is obtained by using a method that takes into account the appearance and user experience, one of which is User Centered Design (UCD). The Husqy Petshop application, which applies the User Centered Design (UCD) method, does not only focus on technical aspects, but also considers user needs, preferences and experience. The test results using the Single Ease Question (SEQ) method produced an average score of 6.89 which states that the appearance of the Husqy Petshop Application is easy to use.The aim of this research is to provide recommendations for interface designs that suit the needs and are easy for users to use.

Abstract

The purpose of this study described critically in several aspects of Paulo Freire's critical pedagogy and its contribution to educational transformation. This study uses a qualitative approach with the literature study method, namely the data collection method by understanding and studying the theory of various literature related to research. This research is based on critical interpretation. This illustrates several aspects of Paulo Freire's book, The Pedagogy of the Oppressed. In addition, several other related sources are also considered as a basis. This research is based on the concept of several key terms, to draw conclusions based on several important Freire messages. The results showed that, (1) Provides a background in critical thinking, the theoretical basis of Freire's critical pedagogy, and his life experience. Freire's critical thinking about the "bank style" education system, which hinders the development of students' creative thinking. This includes the role of oppression and dehumanization of the traditional education system and "bank style", dialogue and awareness, the implementation of education raises problems, praxis as an election in situations, the role of political and cultural factors in changes in education. (2), based on Freire's critical pedagogy, there is a critical interpretation of the current school system education process, practicing teaching strategies based on freedom, curriculum planning, and the possibility of transformation become the role of teachers and students. Abstract

Street sweepers are at high risk of exposure to air pollutants, making them vulnerable to respiratory problems. Therefore, preventive measures are necessary. This study used a descriptive observational survey with a cross-sectional design. The results indicated that 35 respondents (68.6%) had good knowledge about mask-wearing, 46 respondents (90.2%) had a positive attitude, and 36 respondents (70.6%) had sufficient actions regarding mask-wearing. Data analysis showed a p-value > 0.05, indicating no significant relationship between mask-wearing behavior and respiratory complaints. The conclusion is that while the behavior of wearing masks among street sweepers is not related to respiratory complaints, the length of service and education level are related to such complaints. These findings suggest that other factors, such as the duration of employment and education, play a more crucial role in influencing respiratory health among street sweepers. Thus, efforts to improve respiratory health should also focus on these aspects in addition to promoting mask usage.

The problem of stunting in children under five is a major concern in global public health. Stunting, which is caused by chronic malnutrition, is a serious problem with nearly 200 million children under the age of five experiencing it worldwide. This condition not only affects children's physical growth, but also impacts their cognitive development and long-term health. This report uses descriptive analytical research methods to assess the situation of stunting, specifically in Bungo District. The results of the situation analysis in Bungo District show that there are 25 villages that are the locus of stunting with high prevalence rates of stunted children under five. This shows that the problem of stunting in this region really needs special attention and more intensive handling. Interventions that have been carried out in Bungo District include various efforts, such as providing nutritious supplementary food, increasing access to health services, and educating pregnant and lactating mothers about the i The conclusions from this study emphasize the importance of focusing on specific areas to address stunting in Bungo District. To reduce stunting rates, innovative specific intervention efforts in nutrition are needed. These could include programs that support improving children's nutritional intake, improving the quality of water and sanitation, and monitoring children's growth regularly. With an integrated approach and focus on the specific needs of each region, it is hoped that the stunting rate in Bungo District can be significantly reduced, so that children can grow and develop optimally.mportance of balanced nutrition.
