Abstract

This study examines the factors influencing the export value of Cocopeat from Indonesia to G20 member countries. The variables considered are Indonesian GDP, Importer Country GDP, Economic Distance, Exchange Rate, Indonesian Population, and Importer Country Population. The study utilizes the Gravity Model and panel data from 2017-2021 to analyze the international trade relationship of Cocopeat. The findings reveal certain patterns in Cocopeat trade from Indonesia to G20 countries. Indonesia's GDP has a positive influence on Cocopeat exports, although it is partially insignificant. On the other hand, Importer Country GDP has a significant negative effect on Cocopeat exports. Economic Distance and Exchange Rate also have a negative influence, but are not partially significant. Furthermore, the Indonesian Population shows a positive influence on Cocopeat exports, albeit not partially significant. In contrast, the Importing Country Population has a significant positive influence on Cocopeat exports from Indonesia. This research uses quantitative methods, which is a research approach that uses data in the form of numbers and statistics to measure certain variables and draw conclusions based on quantitative analysis. Data collected in quantitative research is analyzed using statistical techniques and other quantitative analysis methods. The purpose of this analysis is to identify patterns, relationships, and trends that occur in the data as well as to test research hypotheses.

Abstract

The increasing utilization of social media has revolutionized health communication, providing a rapid platform for the dissemination of information and public health advocacy. This study explores the impact of social media in enhancing public health advocacy and increasing public health awareness. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach that combines qualitative and quantitative content analysis, the research findings indicate that: (1) Visually appealing materials, such as infographics and brief videos, are most effective in capturing attention and fostering user engagement for health advocacy purposes. (2) The study also reveals that key elements contributing to the success of health-related social media campaigns include: (a) the power of engaging storytelling, (b) fostering community engagement, and (c) the strategic application of hashtags for wider reach. (3) Leveraging sentiment analysis, we observed a significant positive correlation between the level of positive engagement on social media and the increase in public health awareness.

Abstract

Recently, hermeneutics has become a study that has attracted the attention of observers of al-Qur’an and Tafsir. One of its studies is Heidegger's hermeneutics. In brief, there are four main things in Gadamer's hermeneutics, namely facticity, understanding, ontological-existential relations, and time. This literature research aims to discuss Ibn Katsīr's interpretation which is analyzed from Heidegger's hermeneutics. The results of the research show that Ibnu Katsīr has been influenced by socio-cultural conditions or what is called facticity. Second, there is pre-understanding, and third, the openness of the interpreter in the context of further interpretation. Implicitly, Ibn Katsīr was becoming das sein existing in the understanding itself.

Abstract

Aloin has many benefits potential as a medicine. However, it is necessary to carry out toxicity tests on experimental animals as a pre-screening test. Toxic effect parameters were seen from changes in body weight, tremors, convulsions, salivation, weakness, walking backward, walking on the stomach, death, and levels of SGOT and SGPT in experimental animals. This study aims to evaluate the in vivo acute aloin toxicity test results in mice (Mus Musculus) regarding potential toxic symptoms and animal death. A sample of 27 mice were separated into three groups for this investigation: the control group, the treatment group I at a dose of 2500 µg/kg BW, and the treatment group II at an amount of 5000 µg/kg BW, and 5 mice in the preliminary test. This study employed a laboratory experimental test method using a pre-post control group design study. Based on observations of experimental animals, it concluded neither the preliminary test nor the toxicity test revealed any toxic signs. Neither the initial test nor the toxicity test resulted in any observed animal fatalities. Before and after aloin administration, changes in body weight were significantly different. Treatment group II, treatment group I, and the control group's SGOT levels were classified from highest to lowest, with subsequent values of 22.4 U/L, 21.9 U/L, and 19.9 U/L. The highest value of 35.7 U/L, 32.1 U/L, and 26.2 U/L in the treatment groups II, I, and the control group was used to rank the SGPT levels. There were no toxic symptoms and no mortality in experimental animals, so it can be concluded that aloin did not cause harmful effects in mice, so it was categorized as a pseudo-lethal dose.

Abstract

Squid cartilage (Loligo sp.) is known to contain chitosan compounds that have antibacterial activity. This study aims to formulate chitosan from squid cartilage (Loligo sp.) in the form of handwash preparations with concentrations of 0.1%, 0.2%, and 0.3% which are physically and chemically stable, and see the optimum concentration in inhibiting bacterial growth. The method used is laboratory experiments through three stages of extraction, namely deproteination, demineralization, and deacetylation as well as physical quality tests and ability tests before and after cycling tests which include organoleptic tests, homogeneity tests, pH tests, viscosity tests, foam height tests and antibacterial activity tests against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli bacteria by the method of sumuran. The results obtained based on the ANOVA test on Staphylococcus aureus bacteria are 0.000 and on Escherichia coli bacteria are 0.000. Chitosan from squid cartilage (Loligo sp.) can be formulated in the form of a handwash preparation and the most effective concentration in inhibiting Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli is a concentration of 0.3%.

In the preliminary results, the average student score is 67.1, only one student managed to reach the KKM. In the first cycle of student learning activities with the criteria of failure, with the results achieved 68.1 of 26 students, students who reached the KKM, 6 students while the second cycle of student learning activities with very good criteria, with the results achieved 76.3 of 26 students. Students who managed to reach the KKM 23 students. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of seventh grade students of SMPN 1 Sugio using the guessing method have increased.

Abstract

Research on factors that influence fish traders' income is still limited regarding business experience and business analysis carried out by fish traders. The importance of analyzing the factors that influence fish traders' income cannot be underestimated in the context of fisheries economics in increasing the per capita income of fish traders in Indonesia. Therefore, this research aims to analyze which factors have the most influence on fish traders' income, with the variables Capital (x1), Trading Time (x2), and Selling Time Allocation (x3). Determining respondents in the study used a purposive sampling method, namely fish traders in the Sedati District area, Sidoarjo. The number of respondents will be determined using the Slovin method, and the data obtained will be analyzed using the multiple linear analysis method. The data obtained were analyzed using the SPSS application and showed that the capital variable (x1) was proven to have a positive influence on fish income in the Sedati District area, with a t table value of 2,233 > 1.697 t count and a sig value = 0.033 < 0.05 so that Ha was accepted. The conclusion of this research is that the capital variable (x1) has a real influence on the income of fish earners in Sedati District. This research is useful for the community, especially fish traders, that sufficient capital is the most influential thing in obtaining income, because the greater the capital used, the greater the income obtained.
