Najah: Journal of Research and Community Services is a scientific multidisciplinary journal published by Kalam Nusantara Center Research as one of the research institution in Universitas Islam Zainul Hasan Genggong . It is at the national level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to community services. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved and or its implication. Journal of Research and Community Services encompasses research articles, original research report, reviews, and scientific commentaries in education, including Education for Human Resources Development, Community Empowerment, Social Entrepreanurship, and nonformal or informal education. This journal will be published four times in a year (March, June, September and December).

Abstract

Pembuatan batu bata merupakan salah satu UMKM yang terdapat di Desa Klenang Lor. Namun karena kurang efektifnya strategi pemasaran serta belum ada organisasi semacam koperasi yang mampu mengorganisasi dan menjadi wadah bagi perajin batu bata, sehingga kurang mampu mengoptimalkan UMKM batu bata untuk menjadi suatu komoditas unggul yang dapat menjadi salah satu ciri khas dari Desa Klenang Lor tersebut. Metode untuk mengurai hal tersebut menggunakan metode Aset-Based Community Development yang menekankan usaha atau potensi yang dimiliki masyarakat diintegrasikan dengan sumber daya yang dimiliki pemerintah untuk memperbaiki kondisi ekonomi, sosial, dan kebudayaan masyarakat. Dalam upaya penguatan ekonomi masyarakat Desa Klenang Lor, dilakukan pengembangan UMKM berupa memasarkan produk dengan sistem yang jelas mulai dari pengaturan keorganisasian, mitra atau channel dalam pengembangan dan strategi pemasaran. Upaya pengembangan UMKM dilakukan dengan. pembuatan video dan foto batu bata yang melibatkan pelaku UMKM dan mengunggahnya ke beberapa platform sosial media.

Abstract

The Qur'anic Sidogiri Method is an integrated approach to Qur'anic learning that has gained widespread attention in the world of Islamic education. This article explores the implementation of the Qur'anic Sidogiri Method and its impact at Pondok Pesantren Lubbul Labib Al-Qusyairi on improving the ability to read the Qur'an. In relevant text excerpts, K.H. Abdul Ghofur, a prominent scholar at Pesantren Sidogiri, explains that this method is not only about accurate tajweed, but also about guiding santri to feel the meaning and values contained in the Qur'ān. This holistic approach is supported by rigorous tajweed teaching, contextual understanding, and application of Qur'anic values in daily life. This article concludes that the implementation of the Qur'anic Sidogiri Method at Pondok Pesantren Lubbul Labib Al-Qusyairi provides a solid foundation for santri to read the Qur'an well and understand the sacred messages contained therein, in accordance with the vision of Sidogiri pesantren to create a generation of Muslims who are deep in the understanding and application of the Qur'an in their lives.

Abstract

Culture is the way of life shared by a group of people, including the values, norms, language, beliefs, and practices that shape their identity. Condong Village is a village that has sloping land, that's why the village is called Condong Village. Condong Village has several assets, including: personal assets, social assets, spiritual assets, institutional assets, natural assets and physical assets. This mentoring activity aims to preserve and develop the almost extinct rokat tradition by providing assistance to community leaders in the village of Pikan. The aim of this Rokat is to implement research results through community service in the form of empowerment. The research method used is the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach by developing spiritual assets owned by the community, one of which is the preservation of rock culture. The stages used in this stage are preparation, implementation, evaluation. The results obtained from the mentoring were found to be the culture of bridal rokat being carried out when there are 3 siblings, 1 boy and 2 girls or 2 boys and one girl. The bridal ceremony is performed at midnight right in front of the bride's house. First, it starts with the reading of old book discourses by the person in charge of leading the rokat, which is then followed by a shower by the rokat leader, then parents and close family members. As for the data or tradition of Rokatan, it is becoming increasingly known to the village community, especially after providing assistance by means of socialization by community leaders to members of the community at religious events.

Abstract

Abstract The tradition of tahlil together at the grave in Tarokan Kidul village is a tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation and is also a religious system as a sense of caring for the grave's master. This tradition is unique in the village of Tarokan Kidul, where in this activity there is the reading of tahlil, yasin together as well as tausiah, which is held every Thursday afternoon in the pavilion right in the middle of the grave. The aim of this community service activity is to find out the form of tradition, function and meaning of the tradition of joint grave prayer in Tarokan Kidul village. The approach used in this community service activity is the ABCD approach, where there is a stage in carrying out this approach, namely the inculturation stage where, in this stage the researcher mixes with the surrounding community, namely by carrying out congregational prayers at the mosque, teaching at school, posyandu activities, and carrying out other traditional community activities, the second stage is area tracing, namely the researcher explores rural areas of KKN locations such as rivers, rice fields, which produces images in the form of transects, the third stage is asset mapping, namely collecting data on assets owned by local village communities, here the researcher goes around to small businesses and researchers discovered cultural assets, namely the tradition of praying together at graves, the next stage was choosing a priority scale and appreciative discovery, namely cultural assets in the form of praying together with village residents at graves, the final stage was the define and reflection stage, namely there were forms, functions, and meaning in the shared tahlil tradition. This form of tradition is a series of processions, traditions and rituals. The procession includes cleaning, tahlil, yasin, recitation. This tradition has a function for society as a social function, religious function, educational function, preserving culture. The result of this community service activity is that there is an element of religious moderation in the tradition of joint grave prayer, namely respecting differences in beliefs, increasing understanding of tolerance, practicing religious values, creating dialogue of beliefs, and avoiding conflicts with community traditions.

Abstract

Based on the study of most interpretive scholars, the event of Isra' Mi'raj is a very special and majestic event because at the beginning of the verse Allah says starting with the word "Subhana" which means "Most Holy" which is not found in the 113 other Surahs in the Al-Qur'an. an. Therefore, it is clear that this most powerful event can represent proof of Allah's love and love for His beloved servant of the Prophet Muhammad SAW as the khatamin Nabiyyin and the climax of all the Shari'ah of Allah which was entrusted to the Prophet Muhammad SAW, prayer occupies a strategic and main position, because in the afterlife the first thing that will be questioned before other commands is prayer. Allah SWT firmly states in verse 1 of Surah al-Isra' about His power through His servant Muhammad with this mi'raj event, to show signs of His greatness by traveling a third of the night from the Grand Mosque in Makkah to the Aqsa Mosque in Palestine at a tremendous speed beyond the reach of human thought at that time. Plus the mi'raj trip from the Aqsa mosque to Sidratil Muntaha to receive prayer orders and at that time the Angel Gabriel was unable to meet Allah SWT directly and the Prophet Muhammad SAW himself was able to face RABB al-Alamin. Abstract

The activity in carrying out this activity is a form of mentoring that has been carried out by members of some of students and lecture of Zainul Hasan Islamic University of Genggong in various assembly activities in Bermi village, from science assemblies to routine assemblies. From the observations we found, Bermi village has a lack of specific religious knowledge in the field of corpse management, even though Bermi village has many assemblies. The result of this activity is to increase assembly activities in Bermi village to foster views in religious knowledge for the entire Bermi village community.

Abstract

Indonesia is a pluralistic and heterogeneous country. Various religions, tribes, cultures and customs grow and develop on this earth. It is this diversity that forms Indonesia's identity as a nation. As in Racek Village, Probolinggo Regency, there is a tradition that is still carried out to this day, which is often called jaga mayyit by the surrounding community. The jaga mayyit tradition is an activity where the community guards the body that has just been buried, this tradition is carried out with the aim of keeping the body from being stolen by a creature that the local community believes is jenglot. The purpose of this research is to examine the actions of people who feel less respect for sacred places such as graves. The method we used for this research is ABCD. The results of the research show that technological developments affect not only on the positive side but also negatively, such as the use of sound systems in inappropriate places such as graves. It is hoped that people will become more aware of the sacredness of places such as graves and act accordingly.

Abstract

This service aims to develop the community economy in Alassapi Village by adopting a religious moderation approach, with the main focus on improving community welfare. Through this approach, various economic empowerment activities are carried out such as skills training, micro business development, and promotion of entrepreneurship based on moderate religious values. The research methods used include literature studies, field surveys, and active community participation. The results include an increase in community income, diversification of income sources, and an overall improvement in the quality of life. Thus, this service not only provides a positive economic impact, but also contributes to the creation of social harmony and general welfare in Alassapi Village.

Abstract

“Assisting the Elderly Community in Tanjung Village through Religious Education with the ABCD Method aims to improve the participation and spiritual quality of life of the elderly. The first stage, Discovery, identifies community potential through interviews and mapping. The Dream stage involves the community in envisioning the expected future, including increased religious activities at the Baitur Rohim Mosque. The Design stage involves designing strategies, processes and systems to activate spiritual and cultural assets, especially through religious activities. The Destiny stage evaluates and implements changes, ensuring sustainability through collaboration with students and lecturers. UNZAH students are important supporters with their religious understanding and religious experience. Challenges included limited access to information and social engagement of older adults. Reflection and continuous learning highlighted the importance of capacity building, resource optimization, external cooperation, technology integration and cultural approaches. Despite these obstacles, the mentoring has had a positive impact on the religious participation, spiritual quality of life, and social dynamics of the elderly community. Holistic and sustainable assistance is expected to be a positive legacy in the form of sarwah for future generations”.

Abstract

Desa Bremi adalah salah satu desa yang mayoritas penduduknya beragama islam yang beraliran Nahdlatul Ulama, dengan melestarikan adat istiadat yang ada mampu menjadikan hubungan antar masyarakat sangatlah harmonis dan saling melengkapi. Dilihat dari pemiluh yang terjadi kemarin pada tanggal 14 Februari 2024 masyarakat Bremi lebih menjaga ketentraman dan keharmonisan antar sesama walaupun memiliki perbedaan dalam pemilihan tersebut . Dengan memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat tentang islam moderat mampu meningkatkan keharmonisan masyarakat di Desa Bremi. Pendampingan kami terhadap islam moderat di desa Bremi ini dengan melihat adanya perbedaan yang membuat kami ingin mengedukasi representasi islam moderat dalam fanatisme politika dikarenakan kami menemukan kelebihan di Desa Bremi, yakni dalam satu Aliran atau satu ormas Nahdlatul Ulama’ memiliki perbeda pilihan namun masih menjaga ketentraman, keharmonisan antar sesama. Dalam pendampingan ini kami memiliki suatu program seminar ke-NU’an bersama masyarakat sekaligus pengedukasian terkait islam moderat. Dengan adanya cara mengedukasi masyarakat Desa Bremi Selatan terkait islam moderat kami berharap masyakatat desa bermi dan dalam satu Ormas Nahdlatu Ulama’ lebih toleransi antara masyarakat yang satu dengan yang lainnya meskipun berbeda dalam menentukan pilihannya. Kami sangat berharap ketika menjelang terjadinya pemilu di tahun mendatang mampu menjadikan satu Ormas Nahdlatul Ulama’ dan yang lainnya saling menjaga tolerangsi dan kerarmonisannya yang telah menjadi program kami sebelumnya.
