Abstract

Even though there has been a lot of research on the relationship between working capital and company performance on profitability in Indonesia, the majority of research findings still show the phenomenon of recognizing working capital as an important variable in managing company profitability. This research aims to review, analyze, summarize and present the results of empirical research in Indonesia to help future researchers in making decisions regarding working capital management and capital structure related to company profitability. This literature review examines research that focuses on company performance in terms of profitability, working capital management, and capital structure. The results show that there are varying relationships between working capital and capital structure on profitability so that no agreement can be reached. This study also provides a more in-depth picture to explain this phenomenon and assists research that uses working capital and capital structure in determining its impact on company profitability.

Abstract

This research aims to explain various aspects of human behavior in an organization. This includes the influence of organizations on individuals and how individuals impact organizations. Literature study was used in this research. This study uses descriptive-qualitative as its approach. The results of this research show that individual behavior influenced by the organization. The organization reffered to here is Widya Karya Catholic University of Malang., It is influenced by internal and external factors. Yet individual behavior is influenced also by psychological, physiological and environmental factors. Thus, a manager must understand a person's innate characteristics well, such as his biography, personality, nature of perception, and also his attitude in order to then optimize his role in the organization he leads.

Abstract

The capital market is an activity involving the trading of securities and public offerings. It also involves institutions and professions dealing with securities. Investors have the potential to allocate their funds to safe-haven investment instruments, although the increase in the number of investors does not correspond to the level of literacy, especially in the capital market, which was only 4.92% in 2019 and decreased to 4.11% in 2022. This research aims to determine how the optimal stock portfolio is formed on the IDX Shariah Growth index in the period from November 2022 to March and from April to August 2023. The research results show that in the period from November 2022 to March 2023, six stocks were selected as candidates for the optimal portfolio, including SMDR, PWON, ISAT, TINS, HEAL, and INCO. On the other hand, in the period from April to August 2023, only SMDR and MAPI were included as candidates. Interestingly, SMDR was consistently selected in both periods. The proportion of the optimal portfolio in November 2022 - March 2023 was 11.62% for SMDR, while in April - August 2023, the proportion of SMDR increased to 25%. The optimal portfolio consisting of two stocks in April - August 2023 is estimated to generate a return of -0,28% per month, with an investment risk of 2.25%. Compared to the period of November 2022 - March 2023, which resulted in a return not significantly different, namely -0,078%, the investment risk level was much higher at 3,8%. However, this risk is lower than investing in individual stocks. Thus, forming an optimal portfolio is one effective way to diversify and reduce investment risk.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the strategies implemented by Toyota in building its brand and how these strategies address challenges and opportunities in the automotive industry. A qualitative approach with a literature review research methodology is employed to explore this phenomenon.The philosophy of postpositivism serves as the philosophical foundation of this study, acknowledging that research is influenced by the researcher's subjective perspective and efforts are made to address biases through rigorous methodological approaches.Through data collection from various relevant literature sources, including journal articles, books, industry reports, and other electronic sources, this study analyzes marketing strategies, product innovations, and adaptations to environmental changes that have been implemented by Toyota.Qualitative data analysis yields a deep understanding of how Toyota builds its brand, responds to market changes, and faces competition in the automotive industry. The findings of this study provide valuable insights for Toyota and other stakeholders in the automotive industry in formulating effective strategies to maintain and enhance their positions in the competitive market.

Abstract

At the present time, the utilisation of social media is expanding at an unprecedented rate. Many individuals are connected through social media, which has created extraordinary business opportunities. As a result, purchasing and selling activities have become more dynamic and have reached a broader audience. This research endeavours to evaluate the impact of viral marketing, brand trust, and celebrity endorsers (Sehun) on the purchasing decisions of Whitelab Instagram followers. The research employed is quantitative and employs an associative approach. Followers of whitelab Instagram were the population of this investigation. This investigation employed probability sampling with a sample of 100 respondents. Primary data was acquired by disseminating questionnaires online using Google Forms, while secondary data was acquired through literature studies. The research conducted has revealed that the variables of celebrity endorser (Sehun), brand trust, and viral marketing have a substantial impact on the purchasing decisions of Whitelab products among Whitelab Instagram followers, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination test indicates that there is a strong correlation between celebrity endorsers (Sehun), brand trust, and viral marketing in relation to purchasing decisions, with a R value of 0.860. According to the Adjusted R Square value or coefficient of determination, the celebrity endorser (Sehun) variable (X1), brand trust (X2), and viral marketing (X3) can account for 73.2% of the purchasing decision variable (Y). The remaining 26.8% is influenced by variables that are not addressed in this study.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, the impact of digital marketing on the market acceptance of local food products from SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) has become a critical topic. To maintain competitiveness and increase revenue, SMEs need to adapt to the shifting consumption patterns in this era. Implementing digital marketing strategies is one of the solutions that can be adopted by SMEs. Utilizing social media, email, and websites in these strategies can raise brand awareness and drive sales growth. This research aims to analyze the digital marketing strategies implemented by UMKM Kue Bangkit Fafin in Serang City to increase sales of their local food products.

Abstract

This research examines the innovative and sustainable management of waste from layer chicken farms carried out in Kendalrejo Village, Srengat District, Blitar Regency. The aim is to provide effective solutions to address the environmental impact of poultry farming activities. The method used was field research with purposive sampling technique, collecting primary and secondary data through observation and interviews, as well as qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the creation of catfish ponds under the chicken coops is an environmentally friendly and economically profitable solution. Chicken manure is utilized as feed for catfish, while collaboration with fishing pond entrepreneurs opens up new business opportunities. This initiative was supported by the local community and the Regional Management Agency, accelerating the recovery of environmental conditions, and strengthening social relations between the community and farm managers. This research contributes to increasing literacy and inspiration for farm owners by providing information on creating catfish ponds as an effective and sustainable waste management solution.

Abstract

Indonesia presents promising opportunities in the processed food industry, which has experienced a 5% growth over the past five years. PT Roves Global Food has leveraged this opportunity by utilizing mangrove-based products in their processed food offerings. This strategy aims to promote sustainable resources with high nutritional value. However, the company still faces challenges due to consumer trend dynamics, supply chain issues, and government regulations. This study aims to analyze the internal and external conditions of the company using Porter Five Forces analysis and SWOT. Data was collected through primary methods, such as interviews, and secondary sources. The Porter Five Forces analysis revealed five main external factors affecting the company: Threats of Substitutes, Threats of New Entrants, Intensity of Competitive Rivalry, Bargaining Power of Suppliers, and Bargaining Power of Buyers. Additionally, the SWOT analysis identified the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for the company, resulting in 12 combination strategies: 4 SO, 2 ST, 4 WO, and 2 WT strategies. The analysis outcomes were then used to formulate key strategy recommendations focused on strengthening three of the five primary internal conditions of the company, namely service, marketing and sales, and operations.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze and describe: 1). Implementation of the Balanced Scorecard at Bank Bjb Banjar Branch in the 2nd quarter of 2023; 2) Results of measuring the performance of Bank bjb Banjar Branch employees in the 2nd quarter of 2023; 3) The influence of the Balanced Scorecard measurement on employee performance at Bank Bjb Banjar Branch in the 2nd quarter of 2023. The research method used in preparing this thesis is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 52 employees who were the population and sample in this research. The research results show that BSC measurements have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, meaning that the more optimal the BSC measurement results are, the more optimal the employee performance will be.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of implementating Quality Coontrol on production effectiveness to achieve production targets at the company Cv.Weenee Anugerah Textile. The method ised this research is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The research technique used for data collection was field research,while data analysis used a cause and effect diagram (fishbone chart).in this research,the results obtained show that the company has implemented quality control. If a company wants to impelement zero defects,it can use six sigma. Now the compny is currently still at level 4 sigma with a value 2993 DPMO,because to achieve six sigma need to reach a value of 3.4 DPMO.
