Abstract

. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the principles of transparency and accountability in the management of the Village Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBDes) in Sowanlor Village, Kedung Sub-district, Jepara Regency, in 2024. The research method used is descriptive qualitative analysis, with a focus on secondary data analysis. The main focus of this research is to assess the extent to which transparency and accountability principles are applied in the planning, implementation, and evaluation phases of the APBDes by the village government. The results indicate that although the village government has made efforts to disseminate financial information and involve the community in budget planning, there are still obstacles related to information openness and public participation. The delivery of financial information is considered insufficiently detailed and not easily understood, while community participation in program monitoring and evaluation remains limited. This study recommends that the village government enhance the quality of financial information disclosure to be more transparent and accessible to the public. Additionally, it is essential to strengthen community involvement in all stages of village budget management, including implementation and evaluation, in order to foster more transparent and accountable village financial governance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the regulations governing consumer supervision of beauty products in business law and to determine the implementation of legal entity supervision of consumers of a product in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative research approach method using data analysis techniques, namely the theory of Miles, Hubersman and Sandana. The results of this study are the regulations and laws that form the basis for legal supervision of consumers of beauty products written in the business law where the implementation of legal entity supervision of consumers in the use of beauty products in Indonesia still faces various challenges, both in terms of regulation, law enforcement, and public awareness, especially in dealing with the rampant circulation of illegal products and misleading advertisements, especially on digital platforms. Weak supervision in the field and low public literacy are also factors that worsen the situation. Therefore, this study suggests the need for improvements by the government in enforcing legal regulations and awareness from business actors and consumers to create more effective supervision.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the selling skills of marketing officers in the process of selling insurance products at BCA Trunojoyo Branch. It is a qualitative descriptive study. The respondents are insurance marketing officers assigned to the BCA Trunojoyo branch in Jember. The data source used is primary data, which was obtained through interviews with the insurance marketing officers at the BCA Trunojoyo branch in Jember, conducted in April 2025. The results of the study indicate that the selling skills possessed by each individual selling skills have a crucial role in enhancing the success of insurance product sales. By implementing the development of good selling skills for marketing staff, it is hoped that Bank BCA Trunojoyo Jember can improve the quality of marketing staff periodically through training so that they can meet the company's goals and be able to maintain competitiveness in the banking sector, especially the sale of insurance products.

Abstract

The increasing competition in the bottled drinking water distribution business in Tarakan City compels companies to improve sales forecasting accuracy as a basis for strategic decision-making. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Exponential Smoothing with Trend method implemented through the POM-QM software in predicting the sales volume of CV Tirta Anugerah Abadi. Monthly sales data over the past two years were quantitatively analyzed using the Exponential Smoothing model with various smoothing parameter combinations. The results indicate that the parameter combination of α = 0.7 and β = 0.1 yields the lowest forecasting error, with a MAPE value of 1.24%. These findings demonstrate that the applied method is highly accurate and reliable for sales forecasting, thus supporting the company in more efficient stock, production, and distribution planning. The implications of this research not only enrich the literature on the application of modern forecasting methods in the local distribution sector but also provide practical contributions to company management in data-driven decision-making.

Abstract

The development of information technology is also growing rapidly. One of the sectors that is also affected is transportation. This study aims to analyze the Influence of Trust, Online Customer Reviews, and Discounts on Purchasing Decisions Through Purchase Intention where the Intervening Variable is Gofood users on the Gojek application. The analysis method is quantitative primary data, with the test stages of convergent validity, Discriminant validity, average variance extracted (AVE), R-Square, predictive relevance (Q2), F-Square, path coefficient, specific indirect effect. Data were obtained through a questionnaire instrument, with a total of 175 respondents, which were then tested using SmartPLS 4.0. The research findings show that the Trust and Discount variables partially influence Purchasing Decisions through Purchase Intention of Gofood users on the Gojek application. Meanwhile, the Online Customer Review variable does not partially influence Purchasing Decisions through Purchase Intention of Gofood users on the Gojek application.

Abstract

This study aims to understand how users perceive the administrative efficiency generated by the use of the Core Tax Administration System (CTAS) at PT X through a qualitative approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, document studies, and literature reviews. The participants in this study consisted of four employees who actively use the CTAS system in their daily administrative tasks. The findings indicate that CTAS has not yet provided optimal administrative efficiency. This is due to various technical constraints, such as frequent errors, system downtime, and a complicated login process. Additionally, the lack of clear user guidelines makes it difficult for users to adapt. To address these issues, a comprehensive evaluation of the system is needed, along with improvements to the technology infrastructure, the development of more structured technical guidelines, and regular training for users. This study emphasizes the importance of system stability and responsive technical support to ensure the successful implementation of tax administration digitalization.

Abstract

This study aims to assess passenger satisfaction with the Travelin application at Banyuwangi International Airport. Developed by PT Angkasa Pura II, the app offers features such as TravelinPass, a biometric-based electronic boarding system. Although implemented, many passengers are still unfamiliar with its optimal use. A quantitative approach was applied using surveys distributed to 196 users. The questionnaire was based on five satisfaction indicators: expectation, performance, comparison, experience, and confirmation. The results showed an overall satisfaction score of 2.37 on a 1–4 Likert scale, indicating a “low satisfaction” category. Key issues include limited user knowledge and underperformance of services. These findings highlight the need for improved user education, feature enhancements, and user interface development to maximize the app’s benefits for passengers.

Abstract

Understanding the printing press industry position in the product life cycle is very important. This is to determine the right strategy for the printing press in order to be exist and profitable. When we see the condition of the printing press which is facing tough competition with internet-based media beside the uncertain challenge ahead, the printing press industry is in the maturity phase. In this position is required precise product development strategy. The strategy can be done by creating new products with expands in a press online and by improving the quality, either by changes in product design or improvement of product quality print journalism.

Abstract

The cosmetics industry in Indonesia is experiencing rapid progress, with the emergence of more and more products on the market, both from domestic and foreign brands. Public awareness, especially among men and women, of the importance of maintaining their appearance through the use of cosmetic products is growing. This study aims to analyze the impact of price on purchasing decisions for MS Glow products, by considering the variables of perceived quality, brand loyalty, and competitiveness in the market. The method applied is qualitative research with a literature study approach, which includes analysis of various relevant scientific literature. The results of the study indicate that price, product quality, and promotion have a significant impact on purchasing decisions. This study also highlights the importance of understanding the elements of the marketing mix, especially price, in influencing consumer purchasing decisions. These findings are expected to provide strategic recommendations to cosmetic industry players in formulating effective pricing policies that are oriented towards consumer needs.

Abstract

This study discusses the entrepreneurial motivation applied in building and developing the Ayam Kribo culinary business, an MSME located in Patumbak District. This business was pioneered by Mr. Agus, a former daily worker and truck driver, who was inspired by his brother's success in the fried chicken business. With an entrepreneurial spirit, family support, and innovation in taste and service, Ayam Kribo was able to survive various initial challenges and develop into a business with one branch and two employees. This study uses a qualitative case study approach with observation and interview methods. The results of the study show that a combination of personal motivation, product innovation, utilization of social relations, and perseverance are the main factors in business success. The story of Ayam Kribo can be an inspiration for prospective entrepreneurs in starting and managing a business in the culinary sector independently and sustainably.
