Abstract

Competition in the beverage packaging industry is getting tighter, requiring companies to continue to build consumer loyalty. The AQUA brand, although widely known, has experienced a decline in the Top Brand Index over the past four years, indicating a decline in consumer purchasing decisions. This study aims to examine the influence of electronic word of mouth and customer trust on purchasing decisions for Aqua brand bottled drinking water in Demak City with purchase interest as an intervening variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method and data collection through questionnaires. Data analysis techniques are carried out using AMOS-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of the study indicate that Electronic Word Of Mouth (EWOM) does not have a significant influence on Purchasing Decisions, Customer Trust has a positive and significant influence on Purchasing Decisions, Purchase Interest has a significant influence on Purchasing Decisions, Electronic Word Of Mouth (EWOM) does not have a significant influence on Purchase Interest, Customer Trust has a significant positive influence on Purchase Interest, Electronic Word Of Mouth (EWOM) does not have a significant influence on Purchase Decisions through Purchase Interest, and Customer Trust has a significant positive influence on Purchase Decisions through Purchase Interest.

Abstract

In carrying out measurements of the company's financial performance, several types of financial ratios are used, such as profitability, activity, solvency, and liquidity ratios. The purpose of the study is to provide comparative results of the company's financial performance as reviewed from the profitability, activity, solvency, and liquidity ratios before and after acquiring PT Mulia Boga Raya Tbk at PT Garuda Food Putra Putri Jaya Tbk in 2018-2023. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive research. The findings are that the Current Ratio before and after the acquisition is different, but not significant. This acquisition has an optimal impact on increasing the efficiency of the company's current asset management. The company's Debt to Equity Ratio shows the difference before and after the acquisition, but not significant. The acquisition makes a good contribution to the efficiency of the company's current asset management. Return on Equity shows the difference before and after the acquisition, but the change is not significant. The acquisition does not have a significant effect on the efficiency of using equity in generating profits. Total Asset Turn Over experiences an insignificant difference before and after the acquisition.

Abstract

This study aims to test whether career development will affect employee retention through job satisfaction as an intervening variable at the Public Works and Public Housing Agency of Jambi Province. This study took samples from several civil servants of the Public Works and Public Housing Agency of Jambi Province totaling 70 people. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires that were distributed directly. This study used quantitative analysis carried out using the SmartPLS 4.1.1 application. The results of this study indicate that: 1) career development has a positive and significant effect on employee retention, 2) career development has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, 3) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee retention and 4) career development has a positive and significant effect on employee retention through job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the form of operational risk faced by CV XYZ, a used car buying and selling business in Pekanbaru City, and to evaluate the extent to which risk management is implemented in its operational activities. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques are carried out through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that CV XYZ faces various operational risks, including hidden damage to vehicles, document legality issues, and suboptimal customer service. The implementation of risk management is still informal, undocumented, and does not follow certain standards such as ISO 31000. Risk handling is carried out intuitively and reactively, not preventively. However, there is awareness from the management to start building a more structured risk management system through the preparation of SOPs and evaluation of internal processes. This study emphasizes the importance of implementing systematic risk management for small and medium businesses in order to be able to compete sustainably and maintain customer trust.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the existence of a village website as a medium for public services and information in Ginolat Village, Sianjur Mula-Mula Subdistrict, Samosir Regency. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Informants were selected using purposive sampling and consisted of the village head, village officials, members of the Village Consultative Body (BPD), and community members. The results show that the Ginolat Village government does not yet have a digital information system such as a website and still relies on manual methods for delivering public services and information. As a result, residents must visit the village office in person to obtain services and access information. Therefore, this study recommends that the village government allocate funding for the development of a village website, which is expected to be a strategic solution to improve service quality, transparency, accountability, and community participation, and to support the realization of good village governance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand image and product quality on the interest in buying Skintific skincare products in women in Yogyakarta City. The method in this study uses a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling technique involving 75 respondents who have previously used Skintific skincare products. Data were obtained through questionnaires and processed using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 25. The results of this study show that both brand image and product quality have results that do not affect either partially or simultaneously buying interest. These findings provide practical advice for marketers to strengthen brand image and maintain product quality to increase consumer purchase interest.

Abstract

This study looks into how brand experience, brand ambassadors, and brand image influence brand loyalty for Scarlett Whitening products in Kendal Regency. A total of 100 people who use Scarlett Whitening were included in the study. Information was gathered using an online survey on Google Forms. The data was analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS 26 software, and responses were measured on a Likert scale. The findings show that brand experience, brand ambassadors, and brand image all have a strong and positive effect on brand loyalty for Scarlett Whitening in Kendal Regency. This is shown by the calculated F value of 99. 805, which is higher than the F table value of 2. 70, and a significance level of 0. 000.

Abstract

Craft is an industry based on culture and local wisdom. The ability or skill of a person in making crafts is obtained through life experience and the influence of local culture so that it forms as tacit knowledge. In knowledge management, the SECI model is applied in an organization to encourage innovation and accelerate knowledge transfer. The purpose of this study is to photograph the phenomenon of the application of knowledge management in the BBSPJIKB craft team. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive, through a knowledge management questionnaire in the Master of Management program lecture module at Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University Yogyakarta, which was tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that the results of the questionnaire study were quite valid with only 1 invalid question out of a total of 16 questions. From the results of the reliability test, it can be concluded that the questionnaire instrument is very reliable because the alpha value is 0.95, far above the minimum standard of 0.7. All questions have good internal consistency. So this questionnaire can be trusted and relied on for decision making or further research. The results of the study concluded that the implementation of knowledge management in the BBSPJIKB Craft Team was quite good, especially in terms of the culture of sharing and active learning. However, the empowerment of digital platforms and reward programs for innovation need to be improved.

Abstract

Change management is an approach taken by individuals or organizations to move from previous conditions to a better future. In the midst of rapid advances in digital technology, business organizations are required to be able to adapt in order to remain competitive. Digital transformation brings fundamental changes in various operational aspects, so companies need to make adjustments, not only in terms of technology, but also in terms of work culture, organizational structure, and the mindset of their human resources. This research aims to discuss concepts and practical approaches in managing business organizational change in the digital era, so that the digital transformation process can be carried out with careful planning and appropriate strategies. This research was conducted using the literature study method, referring to various sources such as e-books and previous journals. The results showed that changes in organizations are usually driven by common goals that are adjusted to the increasingly rapid development of technology. Change is inevitable and must be managed in a structured way to produce a positive impact. Through proper change management, organizations can increase effectiveness and innovation so that they can survive and thrive in global competition. Digital transformation that is carried out thoroughly and sustainably will create organizational readiness to face the changing dynamics in this digital era.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the following objectives: (1) To understand the implementation process of the Kredit Cepat Aman (KCA) service program by PT Pegadaian Pangkep Branch, and (2) To assess the quality of service in the implementation of the KCA pawn program by PT Pegadaian Pangkep Branch. This study used two research approaches, namely qualitative and quantitative. The data for the qualitative approach consisted of observation and interview results with research subjects, which were in the form of written or verbal descriptions from observed individuals and actors. Meanwhile, the data for the quantitative approach came from questionnaires and calculations presented in tabular form, processed using Microsoft Excel. The data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature study. The results of this study show that: 1) The implementation of the Quick and Safe Credit (KCA) program at PT Pegadaian Pangkep Branch has been carried out properly and in accordance with the standards set by the company, 2) The quality of service, which includes the dimensions of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, has been met, with 86% of respondents (37 people) selecting the "strongly agree" option on the Likert scale. This score indicates that the service quality at PT Pegadaian Pangkep is in the very good category.
