Abstract

The use of instructional media in teaching Natural Sciences has a significant impact on student engagement, concept comprehension, motivation, and learning outcomes. This research aims to develop herbarium-based instructional media that can support the learning of classifying living organisms for seventh-grade students at Pondok Pesantren Darunnadwah. The research method employed is Research & Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model, which encompasses three main stages: Analysis, Design, and Development. The validation results by the IPA teacher indicate a score of 80% (very worthy), and based on student responses during the trial of the herbarium media, an average score of 89.5% (very worthy) was obtained. Herbarium media does not require further revision.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of sit-up and squat-jump exercises on the results of heading soccer games for class VIII male students of SMP Negeri 8 Watampone. This research was a quasi-experimental study with a "pre-test and post-test group design. The instrument in this study was the ball heading test (Nurhasan, in Huda, 2012: 73). The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with the following criteria: (1) Sampling must be based on certain characteristics, which are the main characteristics of the population; (2) The subjects taken as samples are truly the subjects that contain the most characteristics found in the population. The research subjects used were male students of class VIII SMP Negeri 8 Watampone, which consisted of 20 students. Based on the results of the study, there was a significant effect of sit-up exercises on the results of heading soccer games in male students of class VIII SMP Negeri 8 Watampone, with a mean pre-test of 4.01, a mean post-test of 5.63, and a p value of 0.017 < 0.05. There was a significant effect of squat jump training on the results of heading soccer games in male students of class VIII SMP Negeri 8 Watampone, with a mean pre-test of 3.73, a mean post-test of 4.61, and a p value of 0.014 <0.05. Sit-up exercises are more effective than squat jump exercises for the results of heading soccer games in male students of class VIII SMP Negeri 8 Watampone, with a post-test difference of 1.015. Sit-up exercises are more effective than squat jump exercises, according to the results of heading football games in male students of class VIII SMP Negeri 8 Watampone, with a post-test difference of 1.015.

Abstract

This research explores the transformation of Islamic education with a focus on language strengthening through the application of the ASSURE learning model. Through a comprehensive literature review, this article uses sources such as books, journals, documents, and articles. The research results highlight the potential of the ASSURE model in improving students' learning experiences and expanding their understanding of religious teachings, thereby having a positive impact on the effectiveness of learning in the context of Islamic Religious Education. Continuous evaluation and adjustment were identified as key to ensuring sustainability and improved learning outcomes.

Abstract

The motivation to live to recover is the urge to act to satisfy the needs of an illness in obtaining a cure. The number of drug users in Indonesia is increasing every year. The crisis of life motivation is believed to encourage a person to use drugs. Through drug use, they try to achieve a life free from anxiety and emptiness. Low or negative self-esteem is also cited as one of the causes of drug abuse. Drug abuse is done as a compensation to people who have low self-esteem in order to gain approval, acceptance, and self-esteem from people who engage in the same activity. To overcome this problem, drug rehabilitation centres were established.

Abstract

Purpose . This study assesses  relationship between spiritual struggle and intellectual humility among undergraduate  students.  Research Methodology  A cross-sectional research design using random sampling technique was adopted to recruit 158 students from undergraduate students of Nassarawa state university Keffi. Instruments administered included Religious and Spiritual Struggles Scale (RSSS) and the general intellectual humility scale. The T-test  and  correlations were used for  statistical analysis. Results showed a  significant, weak , and direct relationship between Moral struggle and intellectual humility [r(158)=.0.264, P< .05]. Ultimate meaning has a significant relationship with intellectual humility [t(158) = 2.89; p< 05].. Muslims recorded lower level of divine, interpersonal, demonic and moral struggle than christians.  Limitations  The study is crossectional correlation design and is difficult to draw causation.. Various components of Intellectual humility were not examined.  The study is limited to college students at a tertiary university and hence findings might not be generalised. Contribution ; The findings of this study provide information on students  levels of spiritual struggles  as a foundation for developing intervention  for improving their spiritual wellbeing. Practical Implication;  It was concluded that intellectual humility , despite its benefits, can be related  to lack of conviction about the meaning of life and lead to hesitation in taking ethical decision. . It is recommended that students should seek professional  help regarding their spiritual struggles . Novelty ; This is a the first study that examines intellectual humility and spiritual struggles in Nigeria and  thus  unravels  dark side of intellectual humility in ones spiritual life.

Abstract

The Literacy Movement is aparticipatory activity in volving all school members (learners, teachers, principals, education personnel, school supervisors, school committees,andparents) This is related to the learning carried out in schools that Literacy is synonymous with reading and writing activities including how a person communicates insociety. Literacy also means social practices and relation ships related to knowledge, language and culture (UNESCO, 2003). Students' abilities as learning subjects in the School Literacy Movement in clued the ability to determine, identify, find, evaluate, create information in an organized manner in order to communicate it to each individual to actively participate in learning at school an dinsociety. Currently, the meaning of literacy has developed, which includes various fields of knowledge used. There are several components of literacy (Suragangga, 2017), namely early literacy, basic, library, media, technology, andvisual. Early literacy is a listening competency by understanding the use of spoken language in the environment Basic literacy in cludes Indonesian language competencies (listening, reading, speaking and writing), counting, and critical thinking.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to provide an overview of the results of previous studies and to draw conclusions from researchers. The research method is a literature review derived from research articles related to the variable in various world magazines. The purpose of this study is to identify factors that drive employee engagement, mediating variables that may directly or indirectly affect employee engagement, and what is thought to drive employee engagement in organizations. It sees the relationship between two independent variables. Previous article related to the title. It turns out that there are some significant and non-significant variables. The novelty of this study is that a new research model framework was formed, and the results of the literature review study showed the relationship between pay and employee engagement, and the results of the study showed that companies can create employee engagement. Objective study This For see p the influence of the learning model Make A Match against Skills write Language German Student Class XI Science SMA YP HKBP PematangSiantar. Study This use method quantitative with type study approach experiment And design One Group Pretest-Posttestresearch. Population in study This is student Class XI has 34 people. Sample used _ _ as many as 19 people, namely student class XI Science SMA YP HKBP PematangSiantar . Conclusion study This is a learning model Make A Match is influential to ability write Language German student class XI Science SMA YP HKBP PematangSiantar . That thing proven with enhancement average student score on during the pretest it was 52.63 under KKM and on at posttest it was 85.00 above the KKM. As for results test normality of value data The pretest significance is 0.053 and _ mark posttest significance of 0.067 , so concluded mark significance (Sig.) > 0.05 then the research data the normally distributed . Based on results data analysis and hypothesis that in test , known that learning model Make A Match influential to Skills write students . That thing proven with results analysis test hypothesis statistics with paired samples test generated mark significance equal to 0.001< 0.05 in meaning Sig value . (2-sided p) < 0.05, concluded that Ho was rejected and H 1 accepted . Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an effect of Shuttle run and Shadow training on agility in extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Kodeoha in badminton. This research uses an experimental method with a "Pre-test and Post-test Group Design" design. The instrument in this research is agility. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling, with the following criteria: (1) Sampling must be based on certain characteristics, properties or characteristics, which are the main characteristics of the population; (2) The subjects taken as samples are truly the subjects that contain the most characteristics found in the population. The research subjects used were extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Kodeoha, totaling 30 students. Based on the research results: (1) there is a significant influence of Shuttle run training on the agility of extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Kodeoha, with t count 3.427 > t table 2.145 and a significant value of 0.004 < 0.05. (2) There is a significant influence of Shadowback training on the agility of extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Kodeoha, with t count 2.578> t table 2.145 and a significant value of 0.022 < 0.05. (3) Shuttle run training is more effective than Shadow training on the badminton game agility of extracurricular students at SMAN 1 Kodeoha, with a post test difference of 7.38 seconds.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of learning facilities and learning environment on the learning motivation of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 7 Pematang Siantar. The variables in this research are learning facilities and learning environment as independent variables and learning motivation income as the dependent variable. Meanwhile, the type of research used by researchers is correlational, with the research population being all class VIII students at SMP Negeri 7 Pematang Siantar consisting of 223 students. From the population, the sample for this research was random sampling (random sample) using the Slovin formula, namely 146 students. Data collection techniques use instruments: (1) learning facilities questionnaire, (2) learning environment questionnaire, and (3) learning motivation questionnaire. The results of this research show that: (1) there is a positive and significant influence of learning facilities on learning motivation, this result can be seen in the t test where the t value is > t table ( 3.388 >1.976 ) and the value is significant (0.0 01<0.05) . (2) there is a positive and significant influence of the learning environment on learning motivation, this result can be seen in partial calculations (t test) on the learning environment (X 2 ) showing the calculated t value <t table( -2,240 <1, 976 ) and significant value (0, 027 > 0.05) . (3) Learning Facilities and Learning Environment on the Learning Motivation of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 7 Pematang Siantar. This can be seen from the results of simultaneous calculations(F test) on Learning Facilities (X 1 ) and learning environment (X 2 ) was carried out using SPSS 21.0, namely showing the calculated f value > f table ( 5.776 >1.655 ) and significant value (0.004 <0.05 .
