Jurnal Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Amin adalah Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran Dasar berisi tulisan tentang gagasan konseptual, kajian dan penerapan teori, penulisan praktis, dan hasil penelitian pendidikan dan pengajaran sekolah dasar. Abstract

Character education is an important aspect that must be applied in every learning in school, both formally and informally. All elements of the school, including teachers, staff, and other support staff, have a role in shaping the character of students. One method that can be applied is through extracurricular activities, which aim to develop students' talents, interests, and skills outside of academics. At MI Al-Huda Karanggetas, one of the extracurricular activities that focuses on character education is pencak silat. As a native Indonesian martial art, pencak silat not only relies on physical strength but also instills the values of discipline, confidence, cooperation, and a sense of unity. This activity helps students in building a strong mentality and mutual respect. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Respondents in this study included school principals, pencak silat coaches, and students. The validity of the data is maintained through triangulation of sources and techniques, by comparing the results of interviews from various sources and direct observations in the field. The results of the study show that the pencak silat program has a positive impact on the formation of students' character. Students who participated in this activity showed increased discipline, confidence, and an attitude of respect for diversity and togetherness. With the right strategy, pencak silat has proven to be an effective method in instilling strong character values in students.

Abstract

The background of the problem raised in this study is the importance of developing scientific thinking skills from an early age, which is the basic foundation for mastering science and problemsolving skills, namely developing the ability to observe, experiment, and in-depth analysis so that the learning strategies applied at PAUD Alfasalam can improve children's scientific thinking skills. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and supporting documents. The data sources in this study were PAUD teachers, students, and relevant documents. Research procedures include direct observation of learning activities that use scientific strategies and interviews with teachers regarding the methods they apply. Data analysis techniques were conducted using a thematic approach, which identified patterns and themes that emerged from observations and interviews. The results showed that the application of scientific learning strategies has effectively improved scientific thinking skills seen in several aspects including student involvement, curiosity, observation ability, analysis ability and scientific thinking skills. The achievement of the application of scientific learning strategies in Alfasalam PAUD cannot be separated from several efforts that have been made by teachers including project-based learning, simple experiments, and utilization of educational game-based media, proven effective in developing children's ability to think critically and analytically.

Abstract

Child sexual abuse is a serious problem that can adversely affect the psychological and social development of children. Education about safety touch at PAUD Al Amanah Parado is expected to provide early understanding to children about the importance of maintaining body boundaries and protecting themselves from unwanted touches. Data collection techniques used include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data sources consisted of teachers, parents, and children at PAUD Al Amanah Parado. The research procedure was carried out by observing safety touch education activities, interviewing teachers and parents regarding perceptions and program implementation, collecting supporting documents relevant to the implementation of activities. Data analysis techniques were carried out by means of qualitative analysis in which data obtained from interviews and observations were analyzed to find patterns, themes, and related meanings. The results showed that after safety touch education was conducted, the knowledge and understanding of students increased from the aspects of understanding personal body, distinguishing touch, courage to speak, as well as teacher and parent involvement. In its implementation, various forms of activities have been carried out including role playing, the use of interactive images and posters, storytelling, hands-on simulations, and collaboration with parents, this has also had a positive impact on children in understanding their body boundaries.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the improvement of learning outcomes by applying the storytelling-based learning approach to Islamic Religious Education learning in elementary schools. This study is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental method. The research design applies One Sample Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample was 30 fifth grade students of SDN 09 2X11 Enam Lingkung, Padang Pariaman Regency. The research instrument was a test of 30 multiple-choice questions. Data analysis used descriptive analysis, normality test, homogeneity test, average difference test and gain normalization test. The results of the study obtained pretest learning outcomes of 65.63 (less) and posttest learning outcomes of 85.3 (Good). Hypothesis testing found that t count 56.7> t table 0.683 with a sig.0.000 <0.05. The results of the analysis showed that Ho was accepted and Ha was rejected, thus there was an average difference between student learning outcomes at the pretest and posttest stages. The N-gain results show that there is an increase in student learning outcomes (pretest-posttest) of 19.67 points with a Gain normalization value of 0.76. This shows that the increase in student learning outcomes by implementing a storytelling-based learning approach to Islamic Religious Education learning is in the moderate category with a percentage of 76%.

Abstract

Islamic education, rooted in the Qur'an and Sunnah, prioritizes the formation of character and morals according to its teachings. This research, therefore, investigates how student character develops from an Islamic educational perspective. To achieve this, a descriptive qualitative methodology was employed, focusing on observing and describing real-world events and phenomena. Specifically, the study details the use of the habituation method in Islamic early childhood education SDN Mertak Umbak. Findings reveal that this habituation method effectively instills Islamic educational values, evidenced by children applying learned habits, such as prayer and good conduct, in their home and social environments.

Abstract

This article discusses the problems faced by educators in Indonesia, with a special emphasis on the situation at SDN Wonorejo. Although the ideal of the teaching profession is expected to create an ideal learning environment, various problems such as high workload, low welfare levels, and lack of supporting facilities often hinder this achievement. In this study, a qualitative approach was used to study the experiences and perspectives of teachers at SDN Wonorejo through interviews and observations. The results showed that there was a difference between what educators expected and what actually happened. They also showed how important the role of the government and their assistance was.

Abstract

The era of Society 5.0 has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including the field of education. In facing the challenges and opportunities of this era, the role of teachers as agents of change becomes increasingly strategic. Therefore, the development of teacher competencies has become a central focus in national education policies. This study aims to examine government policies related to teacher competency development within the context of Society 5.0. The method used is library research, by reviewing various literatures, policy documents, and relevant previous studies. The findings indicate that the government has designed a number of policies aimed at enhancing teacher competencies, including pedagogy, digital literacy, leadership, and instructional innovation. However, the implementation of these policies still faces several challenges, such as unequal access, resource readiness, and the need for continuous support. This study is expected to serve as a reflection as well as a contribution toward shaping more responsive and adaptive education policies for the demands of the current era.

Abstract

Optimal classroom management is one of the important factors in supporting the success of the teaching and learning process, especially at the primary school level. Teachers have an important role as organizers of classroom dynamics, by creating a comfortable learning atmosphere, encouraging educational interactions, and fostering students' enthusiasm for learning. This article aims to examine the effect of the teacher's role in managing the classroom on improving student learning achievement in Civics Education (PKN) subjects in grade 4 SD. Using a qualitative approach based on a literature study, this article reviews the teacher's role in arranging the classroom, choosing appropriate learning strategies, and managing student behavior effectively. The findings of the discussion show that students' active involvement in learning, understanding of Civics Education materials, and their learning outcomes are greatly influenced by the quality of classroom management by teachers. Therefore, teachers are required to have good pedagogical and managerial skills to create meaningful and effective learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of AI related to time management and student productivity in the learning process of class V at SDN Lawangan Daya 2 Pamekasan. Which is motivated by the advancement of technology and information, so that teachers are encouraged to use innovative, effective, and efficient learning media that are used to increase students' enthusiasm for learning. Therefore, researchers conducted research and analyzed how the implications of AI are related to time management and student productivity in the learning process of class V at SDN Lawangan Daya 2 Pamekasan. The type of research used is a Qualitative approach with Data Collection Techniques through Observation, Interviews, and Documentation directly to the field. After that, the collected data was analyzed through several more stages, namely the collection, presentation, and conclusion stages. The results of the study showed that most of the results of the implications of AI related to time management and student productivity in the learning process had a fairly good level of influence on students and teachers, although there were still some students and teachers who still needed special attention in terms of the learning process using AI. This research is expected to be a reference for other teachers that the use of AI in learning is important, especially in the use of learning media which has a significant influence on the results of the learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to develop teaching materials for CTL-based student development courses for PGSD students in the third semester of Nahdlatul Ulama University of West Nusa Tenggara (UNU NTB). Based on initial observations, it shows that there is no structured teaching material as a guide for lecturers in teaching student development courses. So it is necessary to develop teaching materials for CTL-based courses. CTL is one of the learning approaches that requires students to be active and experience direct learning, so that learning becomes more meaningful. This research is a development research (R&D), with a simplified Borg and Gall development model. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that learning with teaching materials for CTL-based student development courses has been developed in accordance with development procedures. The feasibility of teaching materials for students is reviewed after learning is carried out using teaching materials. Student learning outcomes increased with the number of students who completed 25 people with the highest score of 100 and the number of students who did not complete was 2 people with the lowest score was 50, with an average number of 80.55, while the classical completeness score was 92%. Student responses to the teaching materials of the student development course are said to be very responsive, with an average response percentage of "yes" of 95.62% and "no" of 8.02%. So that the teaching materials for student development courses developed are suitable for use in the learning process at the elementary level.
