Abstract

One of the activities that can increase the income of housewives is a home industry business or commonly called a home business in making Rainbow Layer Cake (Simcake Erah). The methods used in this activity include lectures, questions and answers or discussions, and training. Training and mentoring were carried out in Laikang Village, Biringkanaya District, Makassar City for 2 weeks. The results obtained were (1) The training in making Rainbow Layer Cake (Simcake Erah) was well responded by the participants; (2) The high interest and motivation of the training participants greatly supported the transfer of knowledge and skills from the servants to the training participants, so that the training materials provided could be absorbed by all; and (3) The training products for making Rainbow Layer Cake (Simcake Erah) can be consumed daily and can be used as entrepreneurial products for housewives.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Kotarindau Village through the use of digital systems. Technological developments require MSMEs to adapt to increasingly competitive market changes, particularly in marketing, management, and business administration. Through a socialization program, the community service team provides assistance in the form of training on the use of digital platforms, online marketing strategies, and application-based financial management. The methods used include counseling, live demonstrations, and interactive discussions with MSMEs. The results of the activity indicate an increase in community understanding and skills in utilizing digital technology as a means of promotion, transactions, and business development. Thus, this program is expected to encourage the independence of MSMEs in Kotarindau Village and expand market reach, thereby increasing the competitiveness of local products.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (KKN) aims to increase the environmental awareness and knowledge of the residents of Bojong Kamal Village regarding waste cooking oil management through education and aromatherapy candle-making training. The program was initiated due to the community’s low awareness of the environmental hazards caused by improper disposal of used cooking oil, which can pollute water and soil. The implementation methods included initial observation, socialization, hands-on training in producing aromatherapy candles, and evaluation of participants’ understanding and skills. The results indicate a significant improvement in public awareness and knowledge of the negative impacts of cooking oil waste, as well as the development of new skills to transform waste into economically valuable products. This activity not only fosters environmental responsibility but also encourages innovation in creating environmentally friendly products that benefit the local community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengeksplorasi kegiatan kajian kitab Misykatul Anwar yang diadakan oleh pondok pesantren Hidayatul Mubtadiin Kedung Bendo Sooko Mojokerto dalam meningkatan kecerdasan spiritual para pengurus, santri,alumni, generasi muda dan elemen masyarakat. Metode yang diterapkaan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan beberapa data dengan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan kajian kitab Misykatul Anwar yang diasuh Ustadz Moh. Muntholib dapat menumbuhkan kecerdasan spiritual para jamaah dan juga mengandung beberapa dampak positif untuk jamaah. Faktor-faktor yang mendukung kesuksesan kajian ini meliputi mempersiapkan alat-alat kajian dan juga penyampaian pengasuh kajian yang sangat menyentuh hatai para jamaah serta dukungan penuh jamaah kajian kitab Misykatul Anwar.

Abstract

To examine the implementation of anti-fighting counseling conducted by students participating in the Community Service Program (KKN) in collaboration with the police at SDN Mekarsari 01 as an effort to prevent fighting among students from an early age. The methods used consisted of training students by supervising lecturers, field research through surveys and observations, and interactive counseling that included discussions, educational games, and presentations from police representatives. The evaluation of the results of the socialization was carried out by collecting the opinions of students and teachers. The research findings show that the presence of police representatives as resource persons had a positive impact on students' understanding of the dangers of gang fighting, the legal consequences, and the importance of resolving conflicts peacefully. The active involvement of students, the support of teachers as mentors, and the application of interactive methods played an important role in instilling anti-violence values. This program successfully created collaboration between KKN students, schools, and the police to build a safe, orderly, and harmonious school environment. It is recommended that similar activities be carried out continuously with the development of more innovative methods and increased parental involvement to support the formation of positive character in students.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) serves as a platform for students to apply academic knowledge in improving community welfare and public health. One of the initiatives conducted by the Bhanu Braja KKN group in Mekarsari Village was a Medical Check-Up (MCU) program for the elderly to facilitate early detection of non-communicable diseases. This activity aimed to raise awareness among the elderly about the importance of regular health examinations and healthy lifestyles. The MCU was carried out for 40 elderly participants at Posyandu Merpati 4, including examinations of blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol, and uric acid levels. The results showed that most participants were within normal ranges, although several cases of hyperglycemia and hyperuricemia required further medical attention. The program effectively increased health awareness among the elderly and encouraged local health cadres to continue routine check-up activities. This initiative is expected to promote a culture of regular health monitoring and healthy living among rural communities.

Abstract

One of the Community Service activities that can increase the purchasing value of raw materials is cassava which is processed into cendol ice. Processing this product can increase community income with a home industry business or commonly called a home business in processing sweet potatoes into cendol ice. The methods used in this activity include lectures, questions and answers or discussions, and training. Training and mentoring were carried out in Pangkajene District, Pangkajene and Kepulauan Regency for 2 weeks. The results obtained were (1) The training on processing cassava into cendol ice was well responded by the participants; (2) The high interest and motivation of the training participants greatly supported the transfer of knowledge and skills from the service providers to the training participants, so that the training materials provided could be absorbed by all; and (3) The training product of processing cassava into cendol ice can be consumed daily and can be used as a community entrepreneurial product.

Abstract

Partisipasi perempuan dalam kehidupan sosial merupakan elemen penting bagi terwujudnya pembangunan yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Dupak Magersari Surabaya, dengan latar belakang kondisi sebagian besar perempuan yang berperan ganda sebagai pengelola rumah tangga sekaligus pencari nafkah. Permasalahan utama yang muncul adalah rendahnya keterlibatan perempuan dalam forum pengambilan keputusan, terbatasnya akses peningkatan kapasitas, serta belum optimalnya partisipasi pada bidang kesehatan, pendidikan, dan lingkungan. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui tahapan identifikasi kebutuhan, perancangan program, sosialisasi, pembentukan forum perempuan, pelatihan, pendampingan, implementasi program, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan jika adanya forum perempuan Dupak Magersari sebagai bentuk wadah representasi dan aspirasi kegiatan masyarakat berhasil memberikan peningkatan signifikan pada partisipasi perempuan dalam berbagai bidang. Kegiatan forum perempuan dupak magersari diantaranya jumantik, posyandu, peran bunda paud,serta pemilahan sampah. Program ini secara efektif berhasil memperkuat kapasitas perempuan dan menghasilkan model pemberdayaan berbasis komunitas yang berpotensi dapat direplikasi di wilayah perkotaan lain.

Abstract

This community service activity focuses on Strengthening the Competitiveness of Village MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) through Digital Marketing and Management in Amoito Village, West Ranomeeto District, South Konawe Regency. The program aims to increase the turnover and operational efficiency of MSMEs, while instilling a culture of transparent and accountable financial management through the adoption of digital technology. This activity utilizes a descriptive qualitative and participatory action method, which includes needs assessment, intensive socialization, implementation assistance, and post-training monitoring. The results indicate that the digital intervention successfully expanded the MSMEs' market reach through e-commerce and social media, strengthened the accountability of financial management, and increased time efficiency in business operations. Nevertheless, challenges still exist regarding the consistency of MSME actors in recording daily transactions and the need for adequate hardware support.

Abstract

Kegiatan sosialisasi Menumbuhkan Rasa Cinta Tanah Air melalui Edukasi Empat Pilar Kebangsaan bagi Anak SD dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 1 Tegorejo, Desa Tegorejo, Kecamatan Pegandon, Kabupaten Kendal oleh mahasiswa KKN GIAT 13 Universitas Negeri Semarang. Kegiatan ini bertujuan menanamkan nilai-nilai nasionalisme dan pemahaman tentang Empat Pilar Kebangsaan Pancasila, UUD 1945, NKRI, dan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika sejak usia dini melalui metode edukatif dan interaktif. Sosialisasi dilakukan dengan pendekatan ceramah, permainan edukatif, serta diskusi santai agar siswa lebih mudah memahami materi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan antusiasme dan pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai kebangsaan. Program ini diharapkan menjadi model pembelajaran karakter nasionalisme di sekolah dasar secara menyenangkan dan bermakna.
