Abstract

The aim of the community service activity, Real Work Lecture, community empowerment learning in Jrebeng Kidul Village, Probolinggo City, is to try to build legal awareness in the community starting from the smallest sphere, namely the family. This service activity takes the form of socialization or legal counseling on how to respond to problems in the surrounding environment by being aware of the levels of rights and obligations so that a peaceful and orderly sub-district can be created, especially in land disputes. The impact of this service activity is able to grow and increase legal awareness for individuals, families and local residents so that order and order and harmony are created in social interactions in Jrebeng Kidul Village. The result of this service activity is the formation of community groups who care and are aware of the law. The benefit of this community service is to build community awareness to live in an orderly, peaceful and peaceful manner as well as legal protection, especially for the people of Jrebeng Kidul Village.

Abstract

This activity aims to socialize Character Building activities at Bandung University in improving student discipline. This activity method involves analyzing quantitative and qualitative data from the results of surveys and interviews involving students, heads of study programs, and academic personnel. Socialization results show a significant increase in student discipline, reflected in positive changes in behavior, participation in academic activities, and involvement in social projects. Student awareness of the values of discipline and responsibility also increases, creating a more positive academic atmosphere. The implication of this research is that the Character Building program is effective as a character formation strategy, which can be a basis for further development. This research also highlights the importance of involving students directly in outreach and emphasizes the need for ongoing monitoring to identify long-term changes. Practical implications include continued improvements in program socialization and attention to multiple dimensions of the student experience.

Abstract

The community service activities that we carry out are to help MSMEs survive and develop in the future. Our implementation of community service is providing training, assistance, and motivation to remain sustainable in entrepreneurship for MSMEs. Community service activities were carried out on July-August 2023 at Binoemar Roastery MSMEs, Krajan Hamlet, Banyuwangi. This MSME is engaged in processing coffee beans and opening a coffee cafe. The production results include Original Coffee Powder with Arabica, House Blend, Excelsa, Lanang Coffee, and Robusta types. Apart from selling ground coffee, it also sells mature coffee beans under the name Authentik. Gold sizes start from Small, Large, Jumbo, Premium, and Gold. Apart from that, it also sells golden packages that can be directly brewed, namely K-POP, at a price of Rp. 8,000,-. The original sales system was by leaving it in souvenir shops in Banyuwangi Regency. Binoemar Roastery has not recorded income and expenses from its business. As a result of training and mentoring at Binoemar Roastery with various problems, we provided assistance for 1 month. So the result of what we do is provide a simple form of bookkeeping in Excel form and accompany its operation. Create digital marketing through the Shopee and TikTok applications.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Character Building program at Bandung University in enhancing student discipline. Abstract

This study aimed to enhance content advertising for Kampung Wisata Tridi through Instagram Ads. It involved a two-phase approach: a needs assessment and an intervention. The assessment uncovered a limited understanding of Instagram Ads among Kampung Wisata Tridi members. The intervention comprised a training session attended by 10 representatives. Results indicated improved comprehension of Instagram Ads basics and effective usage. Post-training, participants successfully created and managed their Instagram Ads. Conclusively, the study highlighted Instagram Ads as a valuable tool for promoting tourism destinations. The training session equipped Kampung Wisata Tridi with essential knowledge and skills, enabling them to leverage Instagram Ads for reaching a broader audience in their content advertising efforts.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to assist in the creation process of QRIS merchants in Kampung Glintung Water Street. Eight participating merchants were trained on how to register and activate their QRIS accounts. The training was conducted in two sessions, each session lasting for two hours. The results of the training showed that all of the participating merchants were able to successfully register and activate their QRIS accounts. The discussion section provides an overview of the benefits of QRIS for merchants and consumers. The conclusion states that the community service activity was successful in assisting the participating merchants in creating QRIS accounts.

Abstract

This activity aims to develop the potential of Tanjungmojo Village through the establishment of a Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDES), focusing on strengthening superior and competitive Human Resources (HR). The methods used include training and mentoring conducted in three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation, with active participation from village officials, community leaders, and BUMDES management. The results of the activity indicate an improvement in the participants' understanding of marketing strategies, product planning, and mapping the potential of village products, as well as the use of technology to support the performance of BUMDES HR. The conclusion from this activity shows that the training has been successful in providing the necessary foundational knowledge for the formation of BUMDES, although faced with challenges in communication and the varied backgrounds of the participants. Suggestions given include the need for ongoing evaluation, aligning perceptions between organizers and participants, and discipline in following the planned schedule. This activity paves the way for the economic improvement of Tanjungmojo Village through the effective and sustainable establishment of BUMDES.

Abstract

This activity aims to develop the character of the young generation with good physical health through military education at Dodik Belanegara Rindam III Siliwangi, West Bandung. The methods applied include the preparation and implementation of the program, involving the entire academic community. The evaluation results show that the activity went smoothly, and the participants successfully achieved the set goals, showing improvements in physical health and character strengthening through discipline and teamwork. The discussion covers the program's success, involvement of all parties, and benefits felt by the participants. Limitations in logistics and the need for more in-depth evaluation are identified as areas for improvement. Meanwhile, suggestions for further development include the application of comprehensive evaluation methods, increased inter-institutional collaboration, and the development of a more contextual curriculum. Key findings from this study include the program's success in shaping the character and health of the younger generation, highlighting the importance of military education as a means of holistic character formation at the higher education level. These findings provide a basis for the development of similar programs in the future, with a focus on the necessary improvements to enhance their positive impact.

Abstract

This community service initiative focused on enhancing the digital marketing skills of the residents in Kampung Gerabah Penanggungan through a 10-day training program. Twenty community members participated in the program, where they received training on fundamental aspects of digital marketing, such as social media marketing and search engine optimization (SEO). Additionally, the participants were equipped with knowledge and skills in employing the 4C formula copywriting method, a proven approach for crafting compelling marketing content. The results of the study showed that the training program was effective in improving the participants' knowledge and skills in digital marketing. The participants were able to create effective marketing content for their products and services. They were also able to use social media to reach a wider audience.

Abstract

In 2020 - 2022, digital marketing practices will become increasingly prominent in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, which has driven the transformation of society towards broader use of the digital realm. Apart from being a marketing tool, digital applications also play an essential role as a source of inspiration for individuals interested in starting an independent business. Within the framework of community service activities, the service team from Merdeka University Malang, together with students, carried out community service activities through the creative promotion of MSMEs and video tutorials that were beneficial to the community. This service activity involves the active participation of twenty students who are members of two different teams, namely the team responsible for its implementation.
