Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Riset Pendidikan is a journal on Faculty of Education. Jurnal JERKIN: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Riset Pendidikan is under the auspices of the Faculty of Education, Universitas Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai. The journal is registered with E-ISSN: 2961-9890. Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Riset Pendidikan is published four times a year in September, December, March and June. Abstract

Self-confidence means believing in yourself how you act, feel, and think. It comes from within and helps you do things based on your own abilities, making life feel more meaningful. For teenage girls, looking good physically can help boost their self-confidence. One way to do that is by taking care of their facial skin. This study looked at how much facial skincare affects the self confidence of 11th-grade girls in the Beauty Department at SMKN 27 Jakarta. The researchers used a questionnaire to collect data from 59 students. There were 18 questions about facial skincare and 30 questions about self-confidence. After analyzing the data using a simple statistical test (called linear regression), the results showed a significance value of 0.011, which is less than 0.05. This means the result is important and not just a coincidence. Another test (t-test) showed that the calculated value (6.627) was higher than the required value (2.002). So, the conclusion is that facial skincare really does have a positive effect on self-confidence.

Abstract

Usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) di Indonesia, khususnya usaha cake rumahan, memainkan peran penting dalam perekonomian negara, terutama di sektor kuliner. Namun, banyak pemilik UMKM menghadapi tantangan terkait pemasaran digital, inovasi produk, dan manajemen keuangan. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas Nafisa Cake melalui pelatihan pemasaran digital, inovasi produk, dan manajemen keuangan berbasis digital. Program ini mengikuti pendekatan bertahap yang mencakup identifikasi kebutuhan, pelatihan langsung, pendampingan intensif, dan evaluasi berbasis kinerja. Hasil program menunjukkan bahwa Nafisa Cake berhasil mengadopsi strategi pemasaran digital dengan mengelola akun media sosial dan toko online secara aktif di platform seperti Instagram, Facebook, Tokopedia, dan Shopee. Inovasi produk juga berkembang, dengan variasi kue baru dan peningkatan branding, termasuk pembuatan logo dan kemasan yang lebih profesional. Selain itu, praktik manajemen keuangan juga mengalami peningkatan, terutama dalam perhitungan harga pokok dan pencatatan keuangan. Dampak program terlihat dalam meningkatnya interaksi pelanggan, daya tarik produk yang lebih baik, dan efisiensi operasional yang lebih besar. Kesimpulannya, kombinasi pelatihan praktis dan pendampingan intensif terbukti menjadi strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan daya saing UMKM di era digital, memungkinkan mereka untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan penjualan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the learning of the Lenggang Patah Sembilan dance is applied in extracurricular activities at SMAN 1 Banyuasin. The teacher provides dance training to students so that students can do it well. The learning materials or content used by the teacher for this dance extracurricular activity are in accordance with the work program that has been made. The teacher utilizes school facilities and infrastructure, such as laptops, projectors, and loudspeakers, so that all students can see and hear audio-visual learning materials. In accordance with the planned work program, each meeting is divided into three activities: introduction, core, and closing. In accordance with the planned work program, learning takes place for four meetings, with the researcher conducting an evaluative assessment at the last meeting. The components of the dance assessment derived from the wiraga, wirasa, and wirama aspects form an evaluative assessment. The results of the study, there were 68 wiraga assessments with an average score of 4.53, 66 wirama assessments with an average score of 4.40, and 58 wirasa assessments with an average score of 3.87. The average score was 85.33, and the total score was 1280. From the assessment results based on the dance assessment components, the overall average score of students ranged from 3.87 to 4.52.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning achievement in Social Sciences (IPS) subjects through the application of the learning community approach to class VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Ngawi in the 2024/2025 academic year. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, each consisting of the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were obtained through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and learning outcome tests. The results of the study showed a significant increase in learning achievement. In the pre-cycle stage, the average student score was 63.33 with a completion rate of 50%. After the application of the learning community approach, in cycle I the average score increased to 69.89 with a completion rate of 65%, and in cycle II it increased to 83.3 with a completion rate reaching 90%. These results indicate that the learning community approach is effective in improving students' social studies learning achievement. Therefore, this learning model is recommended to be applied in social studies learning in junior high schools

Abstract

This research was conducted in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Geneng. The purpose and objectives to be achieved in the study were to improve the completeness of student learning outcomes and student activities in learning activities by applying the Mind Mapping method. There were 18 female students and 12 male students out of a total of 30 students who were the subjects of the study. This study used 2 cycles and four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation / observation and reflection. Mind Mapping is a visual method for organizing ideas and information. It uses diagrams with the main concept in the middle and branches representing related ideas. This technique helps to understand, remember, and connect concepts effectively. The end of this abstract can be taken as a result in the implementation of class research will be known the interests and readiness of students before the research is conducted, after the classroom action research using the Mind Mapping system is conducted can improve memory, critical thinking skills, and interest in learning. By organizing information visually mind mapping helps students to understand concepts better and facilitates understanding of learning materials

Abstract

Pemasaran merupakan elemen penting dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan bisnis, terutama untuk pelaku usaha home industry. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan kepada pelaku usaha tas rajut di Ngasem, Kediri, dalam menerapkan strategi pemasaran STP (Segmenting, Targeting, Positioning) dan pemasaran digital. Melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan, pelaku usaha diajarkan cara melakukan segmentasi pasar yang lebih mendalam, menentukan target pasar yang tepat, dan membangun positioning produk yang kuat. Selain itu, pelatihan pemasaran digital juga dilaksanakan untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar melalui media sosial dan e-commerce. Hasil pelaksanaan program menunjukkan bahwa pelaku usaha berhasil memperbaiki strategi pemasaran mereka dengan lebih terstruktur dan efektif. Penggunaan pemasaran digital serta kolaborasi dengan influencer lokal meningkatkan visibilitas produk, sementara program loyalitas yang dikembangkan berhasil memperkuat hubungan dengan konsumen. Dengan penerapan strategi ini secara berkelanjutan, diharapkan pelaku usaha dapat meningkatkan penjualan, daya saing, dan loyalitas konsumen dalam jangka panjang.

Abstract

Penelitian pengabdian masyarakat ini berfokus pada perencanaan pembiayaan usulan renovasi dan pengembangan Musholla Al Hidayah yang berlokasi di Jatirahayu, Pondok Melati, Kota Bekasi. Musholla ini menghadapi tantangan signifikan terkait kapasitas dan kondisi fisik yang tidak lagi memadai untuk menampung jumlah jamaah yang terus bertambah serta mendukung kegiatan keagamaan dan sosial komunitas secara optimal. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi kebutuhan renovasi, menganalisis struktur biaya berdasarkan referensi proyek sejenis yang disesuaikan dengan skala dan kondisi terkini di tahun 2024, serta merumuskan strategi penggalangan dana yang komprehensif. Perkiraan biaya umum untuk renovasi ini diestimasikan sekitar Rp 4.041.055.000, yang mencakup pekerjaan struktural, finishing, serta fasilitas pendukung. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi panduan transparan bagi pengurus musholla dan masyarakat dalam menghimpun dana serta merealisasikan pembangunan Musholla Al Hidayah sebagai pusat ibadah yang nyaman dan multifungsi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial knowledge, self-efficacy, and digital literacy on entrepreneurial intentions among students in the Economics Education Study Program at Surabaya State University. This study used a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS software. The population in this study were students from the class of 2021 who had taken entrepreneurship courses, with a sample size of 81 students. The results showed that partially, entrepreneurial knowledge did not significantly influence entrepreneurial intentions. However, self-efficacy and digital literacy significantly influenced entrepreneurial intentions. Simultaneously, entrepreneurial knowledge, self-efficacy, and digital literacy significantly influenced entrepreneurial intentions. These findings also indicate that self-efficacy and digital literacy play an important role in shaping students' entrepreneurial intentions.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how students perceive and respond to viral trends on TikTok, as well as to examine how pressure to conform to social norms influences their behaviour when using this social media platform. Through a descriptive qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews with three psychology students, this study reveals that participation in TikTok trends is driven by strong influence from social circles and various personal reasons. The three participants demonstrated diverse forms of conformity, ranging from conformity based on social norms, compromise, to information obtained. The findings highlight that while TikTok serves as a platform for self-expression and entertainment, it also functions as a social environment with expectations for conforming to group standards. The conclusion of this study emphasises that social media plays a significant role in shaping the digital behaviour of today’s youth, but individual responses to social pressure are greatly influenced by personal traits and the values they hold

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of Islamic Education teachers in instilling discipline character values in students at MIN 4 Way Jepara, Lampung Timur. The method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The subjects of the research include Islamic Education teachers and students at the school. The results of the study indicate that teachers act as demonstrators, classroom managers, mediators, facilitators, and evaluators in the process of instilling discipline character. The methods applied include exemplary behavior, advice, discussions, and a loving approach. The main challenge faced is the low personal awareness of students who are still in the developmental stage. The instillation of discipline character values has been shown to significantly enhance discipline and shape the moral and spiritual character of the students. This research emphasizes that the role of Islamic Education teachers is crucial in instilling discipline character values, which contributes to the character formation of students at MIN 4 Way Jepara, Lampung Timur.
