Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Riset Pendidikan is a journal on Faculty of Education. Abstract

This community service was conducted to conduct a Business Model Canvas (BMC) design study for a partner project, namely residential property development in the Pamulang area, South Tangerang. The study focused on the integration of economic, social and environmental values. The methods used include descriptive case study techniques, interviews, and document analysis. The results of this study indicate that the partner's BMC can align profitability with sustainability through strategically located eco-friendly housing, clear customer segments, integrated distribution channels, and the establishment of key partnerships. The primary revenue streams come from sales and rentals, with the overall cost structure focused on construction and operational expenses. The designed BMC is expected to serve as a strategic guide capable of enhancing the profitability of the partner's projects while contributing to environmental.

Abstract

The rapid growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Papua requires legal literacy support to ensure business sustainability and access to formal financing. This community service program implemented legal entrepreneurship education at SMU YPPK Taruna Darma Kotaraja, Jayapura City, on May 12, 2023, targeting high school students as future entrepreneurs. Using participatory education methods, the program provided comprehensive understanding of business legality, Business Identification Number (NIB) procedures, and Online Single Submission (OSS) system. Results showed significant improvement in students' legal awareness, with 85% of participants demonstrating increased understanding of business establishment procedures and 78% expressing interest in legal entrepreneurship. The program addressed critical gaps in legal literacy, considering that 44 million of Indonesia's 65 million UMKM lack access to formal financing due to legality issues. Papua's MSMEs, totaling 151,470 units with only 2.7% having NIB certification, urgently need legal literacy intervention. This educational approach proves effective in preparing compliance-ready entrepreneurs while supporting Papua's 2026 export target and sustainable economic development goals.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Make A Match learning model on students' mathematics learning outcomes in class VII lines and angles at Satap Ngarukahiri State Middle School in the Even semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. This type of research is quantitative experimental research with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research subjects who were treated using the make A Match learning model were 21 class VII students. From the results of research and data analysis, test results were obtained on the sample t-test. Based on the results of the sample t-test carried out, it can be obtained that the sig. (2-tailed) 0.000, which means the value is less than 0.005 (0.000 < 0.005), so it can be concluded that H_1 is accepted and H_0 is rejected. So there is an influence of the Make A Match learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VII students at Satap Ngarukahiri State Middle School.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of processing Anti-Fouling System (AFS) documents by PT. Multi Jaya Samudera at the Main Harbormaster and Port Authority Office (KSOP) Belawan. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and document studies related to the AFS document issuance procedure. The results of the study indicate that the AFS document processing is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the International Convention on the Control of Harmful Anti-Fouling Systems on Ships and applicable national laws and regulations. The administrative process includes submitting an application, verifying ship documents, technical inspections, and issuing an AFS certificate. In its implementation, PT. Multi Jaya Samudera faced obstacles in the form of delays in document verification and a lack of understanding of AFS regulations among ship crews, but these can be overcome through intensive coordination with the KSOP and increased socialization of regulations. This study is expected to provide input for shipping companies and port authorities to improve administrative efficiency and compliance with international regulations in efforts to prevent marine pollution.

Abstract

Desa Girimulya, Kecamatan Pacet, Kabupaten Bandung merupakan salah satu wilayah penghasil kopi rakyat yang cukup luas di Jawa Barat. Peningkatan produktivitas kopi setiap tahun berdampak pada bertambahnya limbah kulit kopi yang sebagian besar tidak dimanfaatkan sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pengolahan limbah kulit kopi menjadi teh cascara dilaksanakan sebagai solusi dalam mengurangi permasalahan limbah sekaligus meningkatkan nilai tambah ekonomi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2025 melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu survei wilayah, pembuatan demplot produk, penyuluhan, serta evaluasi. Hasil survei menunjukkan adanya potensi besar dalam pemanfaatan limbah kulit kopi sebagai cascara. Berdasarkan hasil pre-test, sebagian besar petani belum mengenal cascara maupun cara pengolahannya. Setelah dilaksanakan penyuluhan, terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan, di mana hampir seluruh responden memahami potensi, teknik pengolahan, nilai jual, serta manfaat kesehatan dari cascara. Oleh karena itu, cascara dapat dikembangkan sebagai produk inovatif bernilai tambah yang mendukung pengurangan limbah sekaligus meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat secara berkelanjutan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of conformity consumption behavior and product attributes on the purchasing decisions of Generation Z in Medan City regarding Colorbox brand women's fashion apparel. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The population of this study consisted of 100 respondents determined through purposive sampling. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire. The analysis techniques used include validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study indicate that the variables of conformity consumption behavior and product attributes have a significant influence, both partially and simultaneously, on purchasing decisions. The coefficient of determination test yielded an R value of 0.670, indicating a fairly strong relationship between conformity consumption behavior, product attributes, and purchasing decisions with an R value of 0.670. These findings suggest that social factors and product attributes are important determinants in shaping Generation Z's fashion purchasing decisions, particularly regarding the Colorbox brand.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of human resource quality (HR), accounting information systems, internal control, transparency together on the accountability of the management of School Operational Assistance Funds at UPT SPF SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. This study used multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that Human Resource Quality had a positive and significant effect on Accountability, Accounting Information Systems had a positive and significant effect on Accountability, Internal Control had a positive and significant effect on Accountability, Transparency had a positive and significant effect on Accountability, and human resource quality, accounting information systems, internal control and transparency together had an effect on Accountability. The quality of human resources, accounting information systems, internal control and transparency have a strong relationship with Accountability, which is 0.753. Or the quality of human resources, accounting information systems, internal control and transparency is 75.3%. while the remaining 24.7% is influenced by other factors not included in this study.

Abstract

Needlestick injury (NSI) is a common occupational accident in hospitals and carries the risk of transmitting blood-borne pathogens. This study aimed to determine the factors influencing NSI among nurses at Sibuhuan Regional Hospital in 2025 using a cross-sectional design. The study population was 130 nurses with total sampling. Analysis used the chi-square test and logistic regression. The results showed that training (p<0.001), knowledge (p=0.038), use of PPE (p<0.001), and implementation of SOP (p=0.011) influenced NSI, with training as the most dominant factor (Exp(B)=16.437). This means that nurses who have never participated in training are 16.4 times more likely to experience NSI than those who have received training. It is recommended that Sibuhuan Regional Hospital conduct routine training, improve nurse education levels, and build a safe work culture to reduce the risk of occupational accidents.

Abstract

Jhun Café & Resto is a business of private company that provide the various food of Tuna Fish. Jhun Café & Resto located at Kawasan Megamas Manado, Sulawesi, Indonesia. Jhun Café & Resto has a problem that is employee turnover. To prevent the turnover, Jhun Café & Resto need the effort of retention strategy. There are many factors that could influence the Employee Retention, therefore the title of this research is The Influence of Compensation and Employee Involvement toward Employee Retention at Jhun Café & Resto. This study aims to find out the influence of Compensation and Employee Involvement toward Employee Retention at Jhun Café & Resto. Type of research is Associative, type of data is Quantitative, method to analyze data is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis and the Population of the employees amounted to 35. The results of the T test obtained that Compensation (X1) ttest = 4.194 > ttable = 2.037. So, Ha accepted and Ho rejected. This means that Compensation partially have influence toward Employee Retention. Employee Involvement (X2) ttest = 1.686 < ttable = 2.037. So, Ha rejected and Ho accepted. This means that Employee Involvement partially have no influence toward Employee Retention. And the result of F test obtained that ftest = 15.507 > ftable = 3.29. So, Ha accepted and Ho rejected. This mean that Compensation and Employee Involvement simultaneous have influence toward Employee Retention.

Abstract

The implementation of regional autonomy, focusing on the role of district and city governments, begins with the delegation of authority from the central government to local governments. This decentralization process requires strengthening in local financial management. Local Revenue (PAD) is one of the main sources of regional funding that can be independently utilized to support governance and development. In Bitung City, local taxes play an important role in local revenue (PAD), with significant contributions and promising revenue potential. Optimizing advertising collection, both in terms of effectiveness and potential management, is a strategic step to increase PAD. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness level and potential of advertising tax revenues for PAD in Bitung City using a descriptive quantitative method at the Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency (BP2RD).The results indicate that advertising tax collection in 2015–2018 was highly effective, with achievements above 100% (104.60% in 2015; 150.71% in 2016; 115.01% in 2017; and 101.39% in 2018). In 2019, effectiveness decreased to 93.72% but remained in the effective category. The potential advertising tax revenue that BP2RD could optimize in 2020 was estimated at IDR 147,966,302,879.
