Abstract

Gaps found in past studies regarding employee loyalty have urged more researches. Therefore, this descriptive quantitative study aims to analyze the partial and simultaneous effects of compensation, workplace environment, leadership, job stress, and organization communication on the loyalty of employees working at the Sharia-Compliant Business Unit of PT. Bank Sinarmas in Malang. Using census sampling, all members of the population, i.e. employees working in the unit, were selected as the sample. This study finds that compensation, workplace environment, leadership, job stress, and organization communication partially and simultaneously influence employee loyalty. Future researches are advised to include more variables with higher relevance in studying different companies.

Abstract

Business developments in modern era have occurred in all categories of companies. The current fierce competition between companies is related to the growth of production volumes with sustaining attention to product quality will at least maintains the achieved selling figures. Various methods have been used to meet the goal, e.g. product planning, material procurement, promotion, price setting, and development of product required and desired by the market. The objective of this research is to identify the appropriate strategy to be applied by PT. Barokah Subur Jaya using strategy formulation approach. The data of this descriptive qualitative study was harvested through interviews and documentation in the research site, i.e. an aluminum recycling company. This study finds that PT. Barokah Subur Jaya need to apply the hold-and-maintain strategy.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of compensation and work environment on employee loyalty at PT XYZ. The type of research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. Respondents used in this research as many as 54 people using the entire population. The data technique uses a questionnaire which is measured by a Likert scale. Data analysis in this reasearch used multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS software version 20. In this research, the hypothesis was tested using the t test. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that the variables of compensation and work environment have a partial effect on employee loyalty. In addition, the results of the study show that compensation and work environment have a simultaneous effect on employee loyalty of PT XYZ.

Abstract

The objective of this qualitative descriptive research is to analyze the effect of Southeast Asia’s labor market flexibility on the sales Performance of PT. XYZ, a company operating in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The labor market flexibility was measured using two types of flexibility according to Beatson (1995); they are quantity and price flexibilities. The data was harvested through semi-structured interviews with the samples, who were selected using key informant method, and analyzed using Miles & Huberman’s technique. This study finds that quantity flexibility can increase the number of jobs that can be covered by the recruitment services provided by PT. XYZ and increase the company’s sales performance. Furthermore, price flexibility can also increase the company’s sales performance because the labor-supplying countries have supplied lower-wage yet high-quality labors.

Abstract

The objective of this quantitative research is to identify the partial and simultaneous effects of employee engagement and employee satisfaction on employee performance at PT. Shopee International Indonesia Surabaya. The data was acquired from questionnaires distributed to the entire 98 employees and was analyzed using multiple linear regression in SPSS ver. 25. Validity and reliability testing was conducted on each item of the research variables. This study finds that employee engagement (X1) and employee satisfaction (X2) partially influence employee performance and that employee engagement (X1) and employee satisfaction (X2) simultaneously affect employee performance at PT. Shopee International Indonesia Surabaya.

Abstract

Increments in the number of e-Commerce buyers have opened more opportunities for entrepreneurs to engage in online businesses. However, the chances have urged them to create accurate business strategies and management in order to stay ahead in the market. Therefore, business planning must be made to help the companies go according to the right direction to attain their goals. Planet Plastik and Distrik Plastik are dropshipping companies; their entire operations are held in e- commerce. They provide various HDPE and PET plastic packaging. The analysis in this business planning covers the aspects of marketing, organization and management, production, and finance. The business feasibility assessments were based on the payback period calculation of three months and 23 days, net present value of IDR 10,269,323; profitability index of 2.22, and internal rate return of 45.9%. the profit analysis resulted in the break-even point of IDR 95,767,195 and contribution margin of 9.45%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of organizational culture, leadership and work motivation on employee performance. This quantitative research is categorized as explanatory research because it explains the causal relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. The data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 75 employees of Kusuma Agrowisata Batu Hotel and was analyzed using multiple regression analysis in SPSS. The results of the t test are that organizational culture has the values of 3.451, that leadership has the values of 3.681, and that motivation has the value of 2.394; all of which are positive indicating unidirectional relationship. Using the t table of 1.994, it can be concluded that organizational culture, leadership, and motivation positively and significantly affect employee performance. Therefore, Kusuma Agrowisata Batu Hotel needs to enhance those factors since they have been proven to affect employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality control of Solar Water Heater products at PT Wijaya Karya Industri Energi has been running optimally. This type of research is descriptive research. Data collection is done by using observation technique, while the data analysis method uses statistical process control. The results of the calculation of the percentage value of each sub group, the center line value (CL), the upper limit value (UCL), and the lower limit value (LCL) in the Solar Water Heater production process are within the control limits except for the A & B and C press fin processes. Based on the Damage Standard that has been set by PT Wijaya Karya Industri Energi, the damage during the research period did not exceed the Damage Standard limit, it shows that the quality control implemented by PT Wijaya Karya Industri Energi has been running optimally.

Abstract

Creating competitive advantage is a strategy by businesses to win the competition. A company must have some distinctive leverages which are not owned by its competitors to win the competition and to avoid business failures. Pusat Bike runsa custom bicycle business that has been planned with some future competitive advantages. Established in 2019, this business is prospective fromall sides. In order to develop the business, the company applies job lot shop production strategy to reduce inventory and improve quality. This strategy uses mixed flow process, in which the products are manufactured in intermittent interval batches. Here tools and labors are organized into work centers based on the task. Pusat Bike has established a production specialist teams; each team focuses on one type of bicycle product. This method simplifies the inventory estimation for each bicycle type. It also useful for efficiency because the team that has been assigned to a certain type of bicycle can improve faster and produce more quickly, ensuring efficient production process. Team divisions based on the product type also enhances product quality, which correlates with consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

Advertising and product attributes are useful for every company that wants to market its products and instill in consumers' minds that the company sells a product with unique product attributes, consumers unconsciously instill in their minds that a product is in the first thought when consumers are looking for a product. specific product category. This study aims to determine the effect of advertising and product attributes on brand awareness of Deluge Company's Instagram followers. The type of research used is quantitative with inferential descriptive analysis techniques. The method of data collection carried out in this study used a questionnaire measured by a Likert scale with a total of 160 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression models to determine the effect of each variable on increasing brand awareness. The results of this study indicate that advertising variables and product attributes have a positive influence on increasing brand awareness. Based on this research, the implications that can be given are developing and introducing more detailed product attributes so as to increase awareness in the minds of consumers. And another implication is maximizing the ads on Deluge Company's social.
