Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the Development Strategy in Selecta Recreational Parks. The method used in this research is qualitative (descriptive) method. In this study described the internal and external environmental conditions data collected in the analysis to determine the role of tourism development, EFE and IFE analysis, IE Matrix Analysis, and QSPM Matrix in the company. The results of this study indicate that in the analysis of the internal environment the strength in selecta recreational parks is very high, one of which is the variety of diverse products in the recreational park. while in the analysis of high external environment is community support. In the IE matrix the results are in quadrants I and IV, this position is very suitable for companies to grow and build, one of which is the strategy of product development, market and market penetration. On the results of the QSPM matrix for product development get 6.35 points, for market development get 6.15, and market penetration get 5.91. The results here show the product development strategy gets big points, one of the strategies that can be done is to add new vehicles that have a high enough appeal and increase the use of more modern technology.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of depression and organizational commitment on teacher performance at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Malang City. This research uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach. Sampling in this study used a saturated sample technique, namely 79 teacher respondents at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Malang City, the data collection method used was a questionnaire, while the data analysis used in this study was carried out by testing validity, reliability testing, testing the coefficient of determination, classic assumption test, and hypothesis testing which consists of F test and t test using SPSS 24. The results showed that the influencer was positive and significant on teacher performance. This means that the existence of triggers causes an increase in teacher performance in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Malang City. Second, Organizational Commitment has a direct positive effect on teacher performance. This means that with an increase in organizational commitment to each teacher, it results in an increase in teacher performance at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Malang City. Based on the results of this study, it can be interpreted that there is a positive and significant influence of compensation and organizational commitment on teacher performance in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Malang City.

Abstract

The success of an organization can be determined by many variables, one of which is its human resource. To achieve success, organizations need employees who are willing to take tasks not listed on their job description and those that surpass the expectation of their organization, which is termed as organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The goal of this study is to analyze the effect of organizational commitment on organizational citizenship behavior at PG Kebon Agung Malang. The independent variables of this research are affective commitment, continuance commitment, and normative commitment, while the dependent variable is organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The population of this quantitative explanatory research is 252 permanent employees of PG Kebon Agung Malang. Using probability sampling, 155 people were selected as the sample. The results of the descriptive and multiple linear regression analysis have led to findings that affective commitment and normative commitment has significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), while continuance commitment has no significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Pressure on Fraudulent Financial Statements, Opportunity on Fraudulent Financial Statements, Rationalization on Fraudulent Financial Statements, Competence on Fraudulent Financial Statements, and Arrogance on Fraudulent Financial Statements. The population in this study were employees of Ahlia Cement Company. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which is run through the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) program is an analytical technique used to examine the data in this study. The results showed that Pressure affects Fraudulent Financial Statements, Opportunity influences Fraudulent Financial Statements, Rationalization influences Fraudulent Financial Statements, Competence influences Fraudulent Financial Statements, Arrogance influences Fraudulent Financial Statements. For future research, it is hoped that it will enrich other independent variables which are expected to influence fraudulent financial statements, for example changes in total assets, company debt, changes in accounts receivable, and others. The next research is expected to multiply and expand the sample in the study, for example using all manufacturing companies, so that the sample obtained is wider and can describe the actual conditions.

Abstract

Appropriate product development strategy will place a craft industry player into a more superior position in the competition. Sae Japara is a craft business that produces furniture made from wood, glass, and rattan. This company is required to make product developments in order to survive in the craft business competition. This research aims to generate options for the company to help it develop craft products by implementing design thinking. This descriptive qualitative study was conducted through phases of definition, research, interpretation, ideation, prototyping, and evaluation. The data was harvested from interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the analyses produced three craft product development ideas suitable for the need and the preference of Sae Japara’s target customers. They are rattan make-up container, wood-framed mirror with board addition, and rattan-framed mirror. Those products are customizable in size and color. Further, this research proves that design thinking can help the development of craft products that are high in quality and relevant with customer’s need and preference.

Abstract

Opportunities for business services for organizing activities that are increasingly widespread and developing, either as activity planners or activity organizers. Here preparations that must be made to conduct events such as community gathering, music concert, wedding, and corporate events are discussed. The objective of this study is to determine strategies that will be realized based on the analyses on the related aspects in order to develop and to face competition in event organizing business in Bojonegoro. This qualitative descriptive research uses primary data obtained from observations and interviews and secondary data compiled from relevant literature. This study finds that the business planning has met the necessary aspects such as analysis of customer’s interest, support from the government, the availability of other companies for partnership purposes, planning workflow and event execution, analyses on competitors of the same field of industry, required service variations, form of partnership agreements, business legality, and analyses of sponsors from other companies as the supporting parties for the organization of an event.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of work discipline and workplace environment on employee performance at the Road and Bridge Technical Unit of East Java Bina Marga Public Works Department in Kediri. This explanatory research focuses on explaining the relationship between variables, i.e. work discipline (X1), workplace environment (X2), and employee performance (Y). Using census sampling, all 79 members of the population were selected as the sample. The instruments were assessed using validity and reliability tests, and the hypotheses were tested using F-test, T-test, and coefficient of determination test. Further, the data was examined using classical assumption test consisting of normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests and was analyzed using multiple linear regression. All tests and analyses were performed in IBM SPSS 25. This study finds that work discipline positively affects employee performance, that workplace environment significantly influences employee performance, and that workplace discipline and workplace environment simultaneously influence employee performance.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify and analyze the effects of workplace environment and job satisfaction on employee performance at the Cooperative, Micro Business, and Labor Agency of Kediri City. The population of this applied quantitative research is the employees of the Cooperative, Micro Business, and Labor Agency of Kediri City, from which forty people were selected as the respondents using probability sampling method. The results of the inferential statistical analysis and multiple linear regression have led to findings that workplace environment and job satisfaction significantly affect employee performance. The findings are an indication that the performance of employees at the Cooperative, Micro Business, and Labor Agency of Kediri City is determined by their workplace environment and job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the variables of motivation and job satisfaction on work discipline at the Tirta Benteng Regional Public Company, Tangerang city. The population of this quantitative associative type of research was 214 people and a sample of 140 people using the Taro Yamane formula which from the number of samples taken could describe the condition of the original population. This study uses quantitative data in the form of primary data sources with survey data collection techniques using questionnaires. This study used instrument tests through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests through normality tests, multicollinearity tests, autocorrelation tests, and heteroscedasticity tests, and multiple linear regression analysis tests and hypothesis testing. The data analysis tool used is SPSS version 25. The results of the hypothesis show that the motivational variable has a significant effect on work discipline, the job satisfaction variable has a significant effect on work discipline, and the job satisfaction variable has a significant effect on work discipline.

Abstract

People’s need for smartphones is increasing globally, including in Indonesia. In Riau province, particularly in Pelalawan Regency, there is a business unit that engages in the sales of smartphone peripherals and internet data plan; it is Caghonti Ponsel. The business’ sales during the last six months have not been stable, and this affects its continuity. Using the problem as the research background, this study aims to identify and analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and the threats of the business and to recommend the suitable strategy for the company. This qualitative descriptive research uses primary data obtained from interviews, observations, and documentations and secondary data in forms of books, journals, articles, etc. the instruments of the analysis are IFE Matrix, EFE Matrix, SWOT Matrix, and QSPM Matrix. The results of the analysis indicate that the most suitable strategy for Caghonti Ponsel is market penetration.
