Abstract

This study discusses corporate criminal liability in Indonesia under the Colonial Penal Code and the new National Penal Code. While corporations contribute significantly to economic development, they also engage in criminal activities affecting society. Previously, the Colonial Penal Code did not recognize corporations as criminal subjects, but the National Penal Code, effective in 2026, accommodates corporations as entities subject to prosecution. This research examines theories of corporate criminal liability, including vicarious liability and strict liability. Moreover, it highlights the application of restorative justice, which focuses not only on punishment but also on restoring conditions involving offenders and victims. Through more comprehensive criminal sanctions, the National Penal Code provides space for conflict resolution in a fairer and more recovery-oriented manner, particularly for corporations as criminal subjects. The restorative justice approach also aims to encourage active participation of both victims and offenders in resolving the consequences of corporate crime.

Abstract

An automatic feeding system that can be monitored and managed remotely is needed amidst the busy schedules of pet owners, especially for cats. As a result, an automatic cat feeder that can be operated and viewed remotely via the Internet of Things was developed in this research. By understanding the properties of loadcell sensors and servo motors, research in this case seeks to create an automatic cat feeding system that uses a PID approach to regulate food according to the cat's needs. For the convenience of remote use, the system also allows monitoring and control using the Telegram application. An ESP32 microcontroller, a servo for food release, a loadcell sensor for food weight measurement, and a camera for cat detection were all used in the development of this research system. An automatic cat feeding system that produces servo motor and load cell sensor calibration values with average error results of 1.84%, 3.86%, and accuracy of 96.14%, 98.16% was successfully developed in this research. With an error percentage of 1.67%, this research was able to produce food that matched the cat food dosage using the PID approach with trial and error tuning, especially with a cat food dosage of 60 grams. Based on the research findings, it can be said that this system works as planned and offers a practical way to feed cats food precisely and automatically.

Abstract

Today's life cannot be separated from electricity, starting from people living in villages and living in big cities. This underlies the use of solar power plants (PLTS) as a new renewable electricity source to replace fossil energy sources that have limited amounts and pollution that pollutes the environment. Solar cells (solar cells) as PLTS units have output power constraints that are not large enough and are very dependent on natural conditions. One method of optimizing solar cells is by using a reflector. Sunlight is a renewable energy source that can be used as a new power plant. But in the process certain additions to the solar cell module are needed so that the output voltage can be optimized. Efforts to optimize the electrical output of solar modules by maximizing the intensity of light falling on the surface of the solar module using an Aluminium foil. From 7 days of data collection, the results obtained showed that there was an increase in the output of the solar modules, for PV using Reflectors, an average power output of 18.9 watts was obtained, while PV panels without Reflectors obtained an average power of 16.7 watts, as a percentage. The resulting difference in power is 13%.

Abstract

This research aims to increase students' cognitive understanding of the concept of the Bohr Atomic Model through visualization using Microsoft Excel. The research design uses a one-group pre-test-post-test method to measure changes in understanding before and after providing the intervention. The pre-test results show that the majority of students have a low understanding of this concept, with an average score of 60 and a range of 20–60. After being given treatment in the form of an Excel-based simulation, the post-test results showed significant improvement, with the average score increasing to 80 and the range of scores being narrower (80–100). This improvement shows that Microsoft Excel-based simulations are effective in visualizing abstract concepts, reducing gaps in understanding, and improving students' cognitive learning outcomes. This research suggests the use of interactive learning media as an alternative to deepen understanding of complex physics concepts, such as the Bohr Atomic Model, in higher education.
