Abstract

This research aims to analyze legal issues that arise as a result of the act of viewing a cellphone that is being used by another person without permission, seen from the perspective of Islamic law. In this digital era, the use of communication devices, such as cellphones, is increasing, and unconscious privacy violations often occur, one of which is accessing other people's personal information without permission. In this study, the author examines the basic principles of Islamic law relating to privacy, individual rights, and limits in social interaction, especially those relating to the protection of one's honor and privacy. The approach used in this research is normative analysis by referring to Islamic legal texts, both those originating from the Al-Qur'an, Hadith, and fiqh rules. The research results show that the act of looking at another person's cellphone without permission can be seen as a violation of a person's right to privacy, which in Islamic law is included in the category of impermissible actions, because it can damage an individual's honor and dignity. Apart from that, Islamic law also emphasizes the importance of etiquette and mutual respect for each other, so these actions should be avoided to maintain social harmony. Thus, this research provides an understanding of how Islamic law views and regulates privacy and the boundaries of interacting with other people in a modern context.

Abstract

Mangrove forests are very important ecosystems in coastal areas of Indonesia, where people use them for various activities, such as aquaculture, fisheries, transportation, tourism, and others. However, intensive coastal activities often cause damage to mangrove ecosystems, which in turn has a direct impact on the existence of mangrove forests themselves. This human-induced damage can threaten the regeneration of fish and shrimp in offshore waters, which require mangrove forests for larval and juvenile rearing. A study conducted by the North Sumatra Environmental Agency (BLH) shows that around 90% of mangrove forests in the province are severely damaged, with the most severely affected areas including Serdang Bedagai Regency, Batubara Regency, Tanjung Balai City, Sibolga City, and Nias Regency. This research aims to reveal conservation efforts made by the community and government agencies in the mangrove forest of Paluh Merbau Mangrove Beach, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency. The required data was collected through observation and documentation, involving two representatives from the local community.

Abstract

The Policy of Water Resource Management in water distribution to agricultural land faces dysfunctional channels, which should aim for farmers welfare, but this is not the case. This research focuses on the management of the BL4 Left Tertiary Channel in meeting farmers water needs, which is disrupted by illegal street vendor structures built over the channel for more than 30 years. The implementation of policies regarding the BL4 Left Tertiary Channel in the Jengkelok Irrigation Area is influenced by various factors, including the occupation of channel space by street vendors. This study employs a qualitative approach through field observations and relevant literature reviews. The findings reveal that residents suffer significant losses due to street vendors structures obstructing the channel. The management of the BL4 Left Tertiary Channel fails to align with the intended policy goals and its implementation in the field, resulting in the tertiary channel functioning abnormally. These findings provide a critical perspective on how policy distortions can hinder the optimization of water resources, emphasizing the importance of strengthening collaboration between the government, community, and other stakeholders.

To find out the problems and influence of city park elements on visitor behavior, it is necessary to conduct research on the behavior of city park users in Kanigoro Park. The purpose of this study is to identify the behavior of city park users as a public space. The methods used in this study are qualitative descriptive methods and behavior mapping methods. Behavior mapping is used to determine the movement patterns of city park users using the place-centered mapping technique. The results of this research concluded that shaded spaces are an element that greatly influences visitor activities because there are many activities carried out in this zone. Kanigoro Park is a park that is quite large so that it creates high activity patterns, making it a strong factor in forming visitor behavior patterns in social interaction.

Abstract

Mendalok Village has a tourist area called the Tanjung Pagar Polaria Mangrove Ecotourism. The ecotourism is no longer developing due to the impact of Covid 19 and coastal abrasion so that it is not managed optimally and has an impact on the tourist location being deserted by visitors. Four criteria form the analysis using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The ranking is based on how much each aspect influences the growth of mangrove ecotourism, and the objectives and weights are determined using objectives, criteria, and alternatives. The results of the scoring are obtained from multiplying the weight by the rating resulting in a score on the criteria of Improving Community Living Standards (MTHM) of 0.82%, Mangrove Ecosystem Sustainability (KEM) of 0.26% and Human Resources (HR) 0.06% and Creating Jobs (MLK). External components (opportunities and threats) and internal (strengths and weaknesses) of the project or organization are evaluated using the SWOT method. According to the study, there is a physical carrying capacity of 59 individuals per day and the mangrove ecotourism area has the potential to grow on an area of 10 hectares. Ten hours have been allocated for operations by management.
