Abstract

At this time, a new phenomenon emerged in society, namely many people buying and selling using the results of a game. An example is in kp. Peutey Leuwisadeng Village, Leuwisadeng District, Bogor Regency. Even though the results obtained are only coins from the Higgs Domino game, these coins can be traded as additional income to meet daily needs. This research is focused on three things, namely the system of buying and selling chips in kp. Peutey Leuwisadeng Village, Leuwisadeng District, Bogor Regency and buying and selling chips in the Higgs Domino game in the perspective of Islamic economics and the mechanism for playing the high domino game. In this study, the authors used qualitative methods by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation to collect field data and apply empirical laws, namely laws taken from human behavior. the aim is to strengthen the research. The results of the study show that at kp.peutey Leuwisadeng Village, Leuwisadeng District, Bogor Regency, the system of buying and selling chips in the Higgs Domino game is carried out by meeting face to face or sending chips in advance to the buyer's account. The money is usually paid by transfer or taken directly by chip collectors who then resell them at a higher market price. Although this practice is common, buying and selling chips in the Higgs Domino game is considered haram because it originates from betting and gambling which is punished as an element of maysir. In Islamic economics, buying and selling conditions do not contain elements of maysir, gharar and usury. Therefore, the practice of buying and selling chips in the Higgs Domino game also contains many disadvantages. Keywords: Islamic Economic, Chip

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered people to make massive use of fintech. This fintech adoption increases the level of Islamic financial literacy. Fintech-based social finance services are no exception. This study aims to capture the initial development of the use of fintech for philanthropic purposes by using a qualitative-descriptive method with a literature study and content analysis approach. The results of the study show that within the time the article was published, there was a gradual increase in user awareness of the need to adopt fintech. Before the time of the pandemic, awareness of fintech adoption remained low. After 2019, based on historical studies and its evolution in Islamic fund management, it is predicted that fintech will have great potential going forward. The profile of fintech service users will increase in the baby-boomer generation. Generation X and Z consumers will play a significant role in the global economy, while the millennial generation is bringing major changes to the behavioural demographics and user expectations for fintech services. Moreover, fintech services emerged in Indonesia using the Agricultural Value Chain Financing (AVCF) approach, namely a platform that improves agricultural-based product services for consumers and provides more flexible financial assistance for AVCF players. On the social finance side, almost all of the respondents knew about fintech, and they agreed that fintech offers a lot of conveniences and benefits. Fintech increases the intention of Muslim millennials to donate easily, even though not all agree and are comfortable using fintech to donate. In 2020, the phenomenon of Islamic Fintech emerged, and it was found that perceptions of benefits and convenience, behavioural intentions, as well as trust, are determinants of using fintech for philanthropic purposes.

Abstract

Abstract. The development of sharia economics and finance has experienced significant developments in recent years. This is marked by several main developments in the financial sector and sharia financial instruments, which are increasingly varied and diversifying to meet the diverse needs of the public or customers. One of the sharia financial institutions that is experiencing development is sharia insurance. The sharia insurance industry has become an integral part of modern society's lives. In the midst of the various choices of sharia insurance products, innovation in sharia insurance products combined with waqf instruments is one of the good things for the expansion of sharia financial instruments. Companies marketing waqf insurance policies face increasingly complex challenges to understand, reach, and win the hearts of consumers. The decision to purchase a waqf policy insurance product no longer only revolves around financial considerations but also includes emotional dimensions and deep religious values. This research aims to determine the influence of emotional marketing and sharia marketing on consumer decisions in purchasing policy waqf insurance products using the method used by researchers, namely associative research with a quantitative approach. This research used a sample of 40 respondents with 19 questionnaire statements. In this study, the model used uses a linear regression model involving more than one independent variable or predictor (multiple linear regression). This research shows that, partially or simultaneously, the emotional marketing and sharia marketing variables are stated to have a significant influence on consumer decisions in purchasing waqf insurance policies. This is obtained from the coefficient of determination value in the very strong category, which is between 0.80 and 1,000, with an adjusted R square result of 0.818, or around 81.8%, influencing consumer decisions and the remaining 18.2% being influenced by other variables outside of this research.
