Abstract

The present research is an attempt to investigate the relationship between the concept of al-Raja [hope] as spiritual aspect in Islamic worldview and mental well-being. The study employs quantitative research method where 1045 higher institutions students were surveyed through administration of questionnaire. The Pearson moment correlation analysis was conducted with SPSS version 21 to investigate the relationship. The finding from the analysis shows that there is significant positive correlation between Islamic concept ofal-Raja (Hope) and student's mental well-being. The study provides implication for religious Islamic religious adherents as well as Muslim psychotherapist to see the Islamic concept of Raja as a factor that can boost individual mental state. Keywords : Mental health, well-being, al-raja (hope)

Abstract

Islam discourages the believers from keeping envious feelings in their hearts. In modern psychology, envy is linked with a group of negative mental health outcomes, such as depression, anxiety, and aggressive behaviors. This study is an attempt to develop a scale of envy management based on the teaching of aTGhazali, one of a Muslim scholar known as Hujjat ah Islam, The Proof of Islam. The Benign and Malicious Envy Scale (BeMaS) developed by lange & Crusius (2015) was administered to 200 Muslim students of an Islamic higher learning institution in Malaysia to evaluate their benign and malicious tendencies towards envy. Additionally, the Islamic Envy Management Scale (IEMS) was developed in accordance with al-Ghazali's proposition on how to eliminate envious feelings among Muslim adults and was administered to the sample. Principal Components Analysis yielded two factors, namely knowledge and action, with a total variance extracted of 55.5%. The resultant scale had a Cronbach Alpha of 0.7. The scale had showed a significant positive correlation with the benign envy and a significant negative correlation with malicious envy. Keywords: envy, Islamic teaching, mental health, PCA.

Abstract

Learning media is one of the factors that influence student learning success. One of the learning media is teleconference media, this teleconference media helps educators in conveying material to students more effectively. This study aims to determine the effect of using teleconference online learning media on students' interest in PAI learning. This research method uses quantitative methods with a quasi-experimental design of the nonequivalent control group design type. Researchers obtained data from 65 students by conducting experiments on the experimental class and the control class through a post-test. The results showed that; 1) The use of online learning media teleconference is in the medium category. 2) The results of the research in the experimental class and control class after receiving treatment, the average value of the experimental class is 44.09 and the control class is 39.94. 3) there is a significant influence between the use of online learning media teleconference on interest in learning Islamic Religious Education obtained from the Independent Sample T Test, it is known that the significance value of student interest = Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 so Ho is rejected, so that the results of the post-test measurement of interest in learning have a significant effect. To increase student interest in online learning, educators should understand well in choosing the right and effective online media, especially in Islamic Religious Education subjects, so that later students/students have a good interest in learning. Abstract

One of the factors that can affect learning outcomes is the use of learning media, one of which is audio-visual media. This study aims to determine the effect of using audio-visual learning media on the learning outcomes of class VII students in fiqh subjects at one of the MTS in Bogor City. This research method uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design of the type of nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Researchers obtained data from 50 students by conducting experiments through pretest and posttest tests in the control class and the experimental class. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of using audio-visual learning media on the learning outcomes of class VII students in fiqh subjects at one of the MTS in Bogor City with an average learning improvement of 14.6 while the experimental class with an average learning improvement result of 23,8 and it is also proven by the Simple Paired T-Test, it is known that the significance value of the students' learning outcomes is = Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a significant effect so that the use of audio-visual learning media can improve student learning outcomes well. Abstract

The method that will be used in this research is the experimental method. The form of the design of this research is the Nonequivalent Control Group Design, which is a research to find the effect of the One Day One verse (ODOA) method on the ability to memorize grade VI students at SD S Terpadu Bina Ilmu Parung-Bogor. In this study, the population was all 6th grade students of SD S Terpadu Bina Ilmu, totaling 60 people. The sample in this study used saturated sampling, which in the sampling technique involved 30 students of class VI A as many as 30 students and students of class VI B as many as 30 students of SD S Terpadu Bina Ilmu Parung-Bogor as samples. In this study, the test was administered twice, namely: first, students were given a pre-test to determine the amount of student memorization in both the control group and the experimental group. Second, students were given a final test (post-test) using the traditional method in the control group and using the ODOA method in the experimental group. The results of the test can be concluded that there is an increase in the ability to memorize the Qur'an for the sixth grade students of SD S Terpadu Bina Ilmu who are taught using the traditional method seen from the average number of memorization before the test is 9.73 and after the test is 13.27 and there is an increase the ability to memorize the Qur'an of class VI SD S Terpadu Bina Ilmu taught by the One Day One Verse method is seen from the average number of memorization before the test is 9.17 and after the test is 16.97. While in the T-Test, there is a difference in the ability to memorize the Qur'an of the sixth graders of SDS Terpadu Bina Ilmu after the One Day One Verse (ODOA) method is applied, as seen from the Paired Sample T Test has a significance of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that The ODOA method can improve the memorization of the sixth graders of SD S Terpadu Bina Ilmu Parung Bogor. Abstract

Tik Tok is one of the popular social media among teenagers, children and even adults because Tik Tok has many interesting features so that Tik Tok users take advantage of the Tik Tok application as a means of spreading Islamic da'wah. One of the elements of success in preaching is the media as a tool, one of which is the tik tok application. There is an interest in teenagers towards the @Basyasman tik tok account to listen to the contents of the da'wah message. This study aims to determine the relationship between listening behavior to @Basyasman's tik tok account and moral behavior to parents among teenagers in Padurenan Village Rw 5. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques using questionnaires. The population of 150 teenagers in Padurenan Village Rw 5, the sample calculation used the slovin formula and the results were 60 teenagers. The data analysis technique used correlation test. The results of this study are Ha is accepted because the correlation significance value is 0.00 < 0.05 and the R value is 0.456 > 0.05 so it can be said that there is a good relationship meaning that the more moral behavior towards parents in Padurenan Village Rw 5, the better. The limitation in the study lies in the number of teenagers who not only listen to @Basyasman's da'wah, but can do this by listening to online/offline. The results of this study are used as input for adolescents to improve morals to their parents in order to produce good behavior. Abstract

One of the efforts that can be done to improve the quality of education is by updating the learning method. An education is said to be good if the teaching method used is the right method, this will make it easier to achieve a goal in learning. This study was conducted to determine whether there was a significant effect on improving the ability to memorize Arabic vocabulary for fifth grade students of MI Al-Mustawa Gunungsindur Bogor after the Mimicry Memorization (Mim-Mem) method was applied. This research is classified as quantitative research. With the experimental method and design "Quasi Experimental Design". The form of design used in this study is "Nonequivalent Control Group Design". The study was carried out on two samples, namely 1) the experimental class (mimicry memorization method) and 2) the control class (traditional method). Based on the results of the Independent Sample T-Test hypothesis test that has been obtained from the posttest value of the experimental class and control class with a significance level of 5%. and the value of Sig. (2 tailed) which amounted to 0.029 <0.05 as the basis for making decisions that have been determined (the value obtained is smaller than 0.05) then Ho which states there is no significant difference in students' memorization abilities is rejected, and Ha which states there is a difference students' ability to memorize Arabic vocabulary was accepted, and based on the average N-Gain score of 57,2145 or 57.3% in the Quite Effective category. This shows that the mimicry memorization (mim-mem) method was decided to be quite effective to be applied to the fifth grade students of MI Al-Mustawa Gunungsindur Bogor. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan adalah dengan adanya pembaruan pada metode pembelajaran. Suatu pendidikan dikatakan baik jika metode pengajaran yang dilakukan adalah metode yang tepat, hal ini akan memudahkan untuk mencapai suatu tujuan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada peningkatan kemampuan menghafal kosakata bahasa Arab siswa kelas V MI Al-Mustawa Gunungsindur Bogor sesudah diterapkan metode (Mim-Mem) Mimicry Memorization. Penelitian ini diklasifikasikan sebagai penelitian kuantitatif. Dengan metode eksperimen dan desain “Quasi Experimental Design”. Bentuk desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah “Nonequivalent Control Group Design”. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada dua sampel yaitu 1) kelas eksperimen (metode mimicry memorization) dan 2) kelas kontrol (metode tradisional). Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis Independent Sampel T-Test yang telah diperoleh dari nilai posttest kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan taraf signifikansi 5% . dan nilai Sig. (2 tailed) yang berjumlah 0,029 < 0,05 sebagaimana dasar pengambilan keputusan yang telah ditetapkan maka (nilai yang diperoleh lebih kecil dari 0,05) maka Ho yang menyatakan tidak adanya perbedaan kemampuan menghafal siswa yang signifikan ditolak, dan Ha yang menyatakan adanya perbedaan kemampuan menghafal kosakata bahasa Arab siswa diterima, dan berdasarkan nilai rata-rata N-Gain score sebesar 57.2145 atau 57.3% dalam kategori Cukup Efektif. Hal ini menunjukan bahwasannya metode (mim-mem) mimicry memorization diputuskan cukup efektif diterapkan pada siswa kelas V MI Al-Mustawa Gunungsindur Bogor. Abstract

Interpersonal communication is a basic activity and naturally, every human being must do this activity as a form of mutual understanding and understanding of the activities of exchanging ideas, ideas, and thoughts of two humans who carry out communication activities. In the world of education, of course, communication is the main tool in determining the success of delivering knowledge from teachers to students. As a student who is part of the world of education, the thesis is a responsibility and one of the requirements for graduation. This research was carried out to know the relationship between student interpersonal communication and thesis lecturer with the motivation to compose a thesis. The research method used is a correlational method with a quantitative approach. The population used is the 2016, 2017, and 2018, Islamic Communication and Broadcasting study program at the Faculty of Islamic Religion, Ibn Khaldun University, Bogor with a total of 59 students as respondents. Data processing using SPSS 20 with Pearson product-moment correlation analysis technique. The results obtained are significant values ​​that have been obtained on the X variable (interpersonal communication) with the Y variable (the motivation to compose the thesis) of 0.000 < 0.05. In the calculation of the value of rcount > rtable, it is obtained that 0.687 > 0.252, which can be concluded that the interpersonal communication between students and thesis lecturer with the motivation to write a thesis has a strong relationship. The interpretation that the higher the interpersonal communication relationship between students and thesis lecturer, the motivation also increases students in writing thesis. Abstract

Learning outcomes are very important in a person's education to determine a learning success that has been obtained after following the teaching and learning process. There are various teaching methods that can be used by teachers to obtain learning outcomes in students. One of them is the Mind Mapping method. Furthermore, this study aims to determine whether there is a role of the Mind Mapping method in improving the learning outcomes of SKI material on Khulafaurrasyidin in class VII students at MTsN Kota Bogor. The research method used is quantitative. Data collection using tests with multiple choice forms. The data analysis technique uses the T-Test Test. In this study there are several findings, namely 1). There was an increase from the Pre-Test results to the Post-Test results in the control class of 11.34. And the Pre-Test results and Post-Test results in the experimental class amounted to 16.94; 2). The average N-Gain Score in the experimental class was 57.0411 or 57.04%; 3). Independent sample t-test output in the Equal Variances Assumed section shows that the Sig value. (2 tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. Based on the above findings, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in increasing the value of student learning outcomes, so that there is a Role of the Mind Mapping Method in improving SKI Learning Outcomes on Khulafaurrasyidin Material in Class VII Students at MTsN Kota Bogor. Abstract

The background of the problem in this study, namely the low interest in learning of class X (Ten) students in learning Islamic cultural history (SKI) at MAN 2 Bogor City, this research aims to find out whether there is a "relationship between teacher social competence and interest in students of class X (Ten) in the subject of Islamic cultural history (SKI) at MAN 2 Bogor City. The research used by researchers is quantitative research and correlation methods. The data source that the researcher obtained was the result of the questionnaire answers which the researcher distributed to 200 "respondents". The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between the two variables with a correlation coefficient value (R = 0.48, Sig (2-tailed) = 0.003) and based on the value of the coefficient of determination shows a number of 68.61%, which means the level value the social competence of the SKI teacher is included in the good category, while 70.76% means the level of interest in learning of class X (Ten) students in SKI subjects at MAN 2 Bogor City. The conclusion from this study is that the higher the social competence of the teacher, the higher the learning interest of class X (Ten) students in SKI subjects at MAN 2 Bogor City.
