Abstract

This study examines the role of the RUBI Community in implementing public relations strategies to build the brand image of Avoskin Beauty. Using a qualitative case study approach within a constructivist paradigm, the research applies New Media theory, the R.A.C.E process, and the 7C’s model. Data were collected through triangulation of in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles & Huberman model. The findings reveal that the RUBI Community functions both as a communication channel and as a CSR initiative focusing on women’s empowerment. This dual role significantly enhances Avoskin’s image as an innovative and affordable brand, while strengthening consumer loyalty. The study concludes that community-based PR strategies can effectively foster emotional engagement and brand advocacy, offering practical implications for beauty brands seeking to integrate social values into their communication strategies.

Abstract

Loneliness is a subjective condition that arises when there is a mismatch between the social relationships an individual expects and those they actually experience. This study aims to investigate the influence of social support and self-compassion on loneliness among young adults from divorced families. The method used is a quantitative approach employing a causal design. The sample selection in this study employed a snowball sampling technique, involving 385 participants in Karawang Regency. The instruments used were the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), Self-Compassion Scale (SCS), and UCLA Loneliness Scale (Version 3). Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis. The significance value of the partial test for social support was 0.003 and for self-compassion < 0.00, indicating that social support and self-compassion have a significant partial and simultaneous effect on loneliness. On the other hand, the simultaneous test results showed a significance value of less than 0.00. Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination (R²) values indicate that social support contributes 4.00% and self-compassion contributes 6.30% to the loneliness variable. In other words, the two independent variables simultaneously contribute 10.3% to loneliness, while the remaining 89.7% is influenced by other variables outside the scope of this study.

Abstract

Loneliness is a psychological problem often experienced by adolescents in orphanages, due to limited social relationships and emotional support. This study aims to determine the effect of social interaction and self-compassion on loneliness among adolescents living in orphanages in Karawang Regency. Using a quantitative approach and a causal design, this study involved 103 adolescents aged 13–19 years residing in six orphanages in the region, selected through a saturated sampling technique. The research instruments included a loneliness scale based on the UCLA Loneliness Scale, a social interaction scale developed based on Sarwono's concept of social interaction, and the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS). Regression analysis results indicate that social interaction (β = -0.849; p < 0.05) and self-compassion (β = -0.288; p < 0.05) partially have a significant negative effect on loneliness. Simultaneously, both also had a significant effect on loneliness (F = 55.816; p < 0.05), contributing 52.7% to the variation in loneliness, with social interaction contributing 32.15% and self-compassion 20.58%. These results indicate that improving the quality of social interaction and the ability to positively accept oneself can help reduce loneliness levels among orphanage adolescents.

Abstract

Maternal mortality in Indonesia remains high, with one of the main contributing factors being delays in recognizing and responding to pregnancy danger signs. Appropriate and effective health education can improve pregnant women’s knowledge and preparedness regarding pregnancy risks. This study aims to systematically review educational models used to increase pregnant women’s awareness of pregnancy danger signs. The research method applied a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on the PICOS framework (Population: pregnant women, Intervention: educational models on pregnancy danger signs, Comparison: no intervention or standard education, Outcome: increased knowledge/preparedness, Study design: quantitative/intervention studies). Articles were retrieved from PubMed, ProQuest, SpringerLink, and ScienceDirect databases, published between June 2021 and 2025. After the selection and screening process, seven articles met the inclusion criteria. All articles were evaluated using the Critical Appraisal Skills Programme (CASP) to assess methodological quality and validity. The results showed that community-based education, mHealth interventions, and social norm–based approaches were effective in improving pregnant women’s knowledge of pregnancy danger signs. This study recommends integrating community-based and technology-based educational approaches while considering the local context to enhance program effectiveness

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding during the first six months of a baby's life plays an important role in optimal growth and development, but its coverage is still low in Indonesia. This study aims to review the effectiveness of breastfeeding education interventions on the success of exclusive breastfeeding through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PICOS framework. The search was conducted in the PubMed, ProQuest, SpringerLink, and ScienceDirect databases using the keywords “Breastfeeding Education” AND “Exclusive Breastfeeding” for English-language articles published between 2020 and 2025. Out of 260 articles found, 11 met the inclusion criteria and passed the quality assessment using the CEBM guidelines (score 8–12; Kappa=1.00). The analysis results showed that breastfeeding education, whether through conventional methods or digital technologies such as mHealth and chatbots, consistently improved self-efficacy, knowledge, and exclusive breastfeeding practices. Factors supporting the effectiveness of interventions include the role of healthcare workers, social support, and program integration into primary healthcare services. This review concludes that breastfeeding education has a significant positive impact on improving exclusive breastfeeding success and recommends its sustained implementation using a contextual approach that combines face-to-face and digital methods.

Abstract

The postpartum period is a critical phase for maternal physical and psychological recovery. This study conducted a systematic literature review following PRISMA guidelines to evaluate scientific evidence on the effects of honey on the well-being of postpartum mothers and their infants, including wound healing, breast milk production, sleep quality, mood, and infant growth. Literature searches across five databases (2015–2025) yielded 10 eligible articles, which were thematically analyzed with quality assessment using the CEBM Critical Appraisal Tools. Findings indicate that honey positively contributes to perineal and episiotomy wound healing, increased breast milk production, improved sleep quality, mood stabilization, and reduced fatigue, with effectiveness influenced by maternal nutritional status, regularity of consumption, psychosocial support, and health literacy. Honey has potential as a natural intervention for postpartum mothers, although further research with standardized methodologies is required.

Abstract

Violence against youth is a public health problem of growing global concern. Comprehensive educational interventions are needed to improve adolescents' social and emotional resilience. This study aims to identify an effective educational model that integrates elements of self-awareness, assertiveness, digital and emotional literacy, a supportive environment, and peer facilitation. The research method used was a systematic literature review with a search strategy in five major databases (PubMed, EBSCO, ProQuest, SpringerLink, and ScienceDirect) over the past five years. A total of seven articles were selected based on PICOS selection criteria and critical quality assessment. The review results indicate that a community-based educational approach involving active adolescent participation and ongoing character education is effective in preventing violence. Therefore, developing a contextual and holistic educational model may be an appropriate strategy in preventing violence against youth.

Abstract

The Maternal and Child Health (MCH) book is a media for communication, education, and important information for pregnant women. The optimal use of this book is expected to enhance the utilization of childbirth assistance by health workers. This article aims to evaluate the relationship between the use of the MCH book and the utilization of childbirth assistance by pregnant women in their third trimester. The research method is a systematic literature review by identifying all published literature using relevant keywords. The selected articles are those published in the last 2 years that are full texts, followed by selection based on titles and abstracts, ultimately finding 8 articles that meet the inclusion criteria and have high quality. The research results show a significant relationship between the level of use of the MCH book and the utilization of childbirth assistance. Thus, the proper use of the KIA book contributes to the increased utilization of delivery assistance by healthcare workers.
