EduInovasi: Journal of Basic Educational Studies is a journal published in the Study Program of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah, the  Islamic Institute of Laa Roiba Bogor. This journal is published twice a year in February and Agust. Furthermore, this journal is published in two versions, namely print and online. The focus of this journal contains articles on research on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education / Primary / MI / SD Teacher Education, such as competency analysis, learning strategies, learning theory, learning development, educator professionalism, and research results. Reviewers will review any submitted paper. The Journal kindly invites scientists, scholars, professionals, and researchers in the form of the contribution with articles to be published and disseminated through: the selection mechanism of the article, criticized by reviewer, and the editing process. Abstract

Generation Z, as the young generation currently starting to fill the Indonesian Police institution, faces unique challenges in carrying out their duties. The high workload within the Indonesian Police institution requires strong resilience skills to remain productive and capable of handling challenges and work pressures. This study aims to explore the dynamics of Generation Z resilience in the Indonesian Police institution using a literature review method to examine factors influencing their resilience to workloads. Various journal articles, books, and research reports that relevant to this topic were analyzed. The research findings indicate that resilience plays a crucial role in mitigating the negative impacts of work-related stress. A holistic approach, including psychoeducational training, structured workload management, and transformational leadership, can support Generation Z in adapting to job demands. Additionally, strengthening interpersonal communication skills is essential for enhancing Generation Z's ability to navigate workplace dynamics within the Indonesian Police Institution.

Abstract

This study explores the factors influencing the mental health of adolescents in Indonesia, focusing on social, familial, and environmental aspects. Through a literature analysis, it was found that strong family support, positive parenting styles, and good interpersonal relationships play a crucial role in adolescent mental health. Additionally, the impact of social media and environmental conditions were identified as significant factors that can worsen mental health if not managed properly. The findings suggest that enhancing emotional support from families, educating about healthy social media use, and providing more accessible mental health services are essential. This study also identifies gaps in existing research, recommending further studies to understand the interaction between these factors in diverse contexts across Indonesia. By implementing the proposed recommendations, it is hoped that a healthier and more resilient generation of adolescents can be fostered.

Abstract

The rapid development of the gaming industry and gamer community in the current digital era has raised concerns about the negative impacts that have the potential to affect the morals and behavior of game players, especially teenagers. This article examines the perspective of Islamic Religious Education in instilling moral values ​​in the gamer community. Using a qualitative approach and literature study, this research explores the principles of Islamic teachings that are relevant to character formation and healthy gaming ethics. The research results show that Islamic Religious Education offers comprehensive moral guidelines in guiding the gamer community. Principles such as fairness, patience, tolerance and self-control are important foundations in creating a positive playing environment and avoiding negative behavior such as addiction, violence and discrimination. Apart from that, Islamic teachings also emphasize the concept of moderation and balance in entertainment activities, as well as prioritizing social responsibility and respect for others. This research contributes to the enrichment of Islamic education, especially in responding to moral challenges arising from the development of technology and digital culture. The perspective of Islamic religious education presented can be a reference for understanding and guiding the gamers society in a way that is relevant to the times, reinforced by the Social Learning Theory proposed by Albert Bandura, which is useful for developing a code of ethics for playing games that is in line with religious principles. Thus, the gamer community can enjoy playing games in a healthy and responsible manner, while strengthening their moral character in accordance with Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the internalization of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) values ​​can shape students' religious character through the method of habituating congregational prayer at SDN Andonosari I Tutur Pasuruan. The formation of students' religious character is very important in education, especially in facing the challenges of globalization and the shift in social values ​​that occur in society. For this reason, an effective approach is needed to instill Islamic religious values ​​in students' daily lives. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out through direct observation, interviews with PAI teachers, principals, and parents of students, as well as documentation related to habituation activities at school. This study also analyzes the application of Islamic religious values ​​in students' daily routines, such as congregational prayer activities, dhikr, and other activities related to noble morals and discipline. The results of the study indicate that the application of the habituation method in internalizing Islamic religious values ​​at SDN Andonosari I Tutur Pasuruan has a significant impact on the formation of students' religious character. Habituation through daily activities, such as congregational dhuha prayer, congregational dhuhur prayer and other good habits, can form a religious attitude that is reflected in students' behavior in the school environment and society. In addition, the active involvement of parents and teachers in supporting this habituation also strengthens the results of the internalization of Islamic religious values ​​in students. This study concludes that the habituation method has a very important role in instilling Islamic religious values ​​as a whole. Therefore, collaboration between schools, families, and communities is needed in supporting the process of internalizing Islamic religious values ​​to form a strong religious character in students. This study is expected to be a reference for the development of Islamic-based character education strategies in elementary schools in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research discusses the phenomenon of the FWB relationship depicted in the characters Tom and Summer in the movie 500 Days of Summer. Their relationship shows complex emotional conflicts due to differences in mindset, lifestyle, and emotional needs of the two characters. This research uses Adler's individual psychology approach including the principles of superiority, inferiority, lifestyle, creative self, fictional goals, and social interest. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, using literature study techniques for data collection. The results of this study show that Tom's dependency based on inferiority contradicts Summer's lifestyle or principles. The incongruity created stems from Tom's constant need for external validation, but Summer chooses freedom in emotional relationships and life paths. This imbalance was a major source of conflict, as Tom expected a deeper commitment, while Summer felt the pressure threatened her freedom. This research contributes to the field of individual psychology. Through the approach of Adler's principles, it offers new insights into the cause and effect in a non-committal relationship or FWB (Friends With Benefit). The results of the study provide new insights into the psychological dynamics in relationships without commitment, particularly from the perspective of Adler's theory. The mismatch of lifestyles and goals between individuals in FWB relationships can trigger deep emotional conflict. This research not only contributes to understanding individual psychology, but also opens further discussion on how films and literary works portray the complexity of human relationships. By understanding FWB relationships through this theory, this research is expected to provide a new understanding of emotional conflict and expectations in romance relationships in the modern era.

Abstract

The internet in the digital era has become important in everyday life. It has become a familiar thing when people spend more of their time doing online activities. The features contained in social media are also increasingly diverse. One of them is the hashtag symbol or in English is Hashtags (#). to determine the relationship between the use of the hashtag #samasamabelajar and the information needs of 7th semester library science students. In this research, researchers used quantitative research with a cross-sectional design. Where the data collected will be processed using SPSS. The population is 400 7th semester library science students who use Tiktok at the Faculty of Social Sciences, North Sumatra State Islamic University with a total sample of 50 people. The results of this research are that there is a relationship between the use of #samasamabelajar via TikTok social media and the information needs of 7th semester library science students students. With p value = 0.000. Conclusion: The hashtag #samasamalearn can be used and is very useful for students in finding the information they need, especially in learning various things.

Abstract

One of the important parts of teaching Islam in Islamic boarding schools is reading the yellow book. However, the complexity of the classical Arabic language used in these books, along with the limited amount of time to study it thoroughly, is a major problem often faced by santri. The Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School developed the Al-Miftah lil Ulum method, which helps speed up the reading of the yellow book without reducing understanding of the material contained therein. This method uses the knowledge of nahwu and sharaf as a basis for understanding the structure of the Arabic language, and also uses speed reading techniques, which allows students to understand the text thoroughly in a shorter time. This research aims to teach the use of the Al-Miftah lil Ulum method to speed up the reading of the yellow book at the Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School Branch and how this impacts understanding of the material. This research uses a case study method and uses observation, interviews and documentation to collect data. The results show that the use of the Al-Miftah lil Ulum method increases the speed of reading the yellow book at the Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School. Apart from that, this method also reduces the linguistic difficulties that santri/pupils often face when reading classical Arabic books, thereby increasing learning efficiency. It is estimated that this research will provide new insight into the importance of mastering the basics of Arabic and help develop a faster and more effective method of learning the Yellow Book at the Sidogiri Islamic boarding school.

Abstract

The influence of globalization has at least touched the character of students, who are currently experiencing such significant changes that it is difficult for the younger generation to face the cultural clashes that lie ahead. Character education is one thing that can be a solution to these problems, character education can increase superior and quality human resources. Character itself is a special characteristic possessed by a person or a nation that has become ingrained into personality. The implementation of character education in schools can of course not only be realized through teaching and learning activities, but can also be built through other self-development programs such as through extracurricular activities and routine activities held at school. This development activity is a very potential way to develop character values ​​in students. In order to develop the character of students at MTs Miftahul Ulum Kalirejo, the Madrasah facilitates students with various kinds of activities in the school environment. Apart from the teaching and learning process in class, activities are also carried out through routine activities, one of which is the Dhuha prayer. The purpose of this routine Dhuha prayer activity is to design students' awareness to have good religious character and spiritual values ​​so that they can be implemented in everyday life.

Abstract

In the economic growth of a country, the workforce is one of the important aspects in advancing the economy of a country. Bukittinggi City is one of the cities in West Sumatra Province whose workforce has increased every year. various ways to predict the number of workforce, one of which is the nonlinear trend method. Nonlinear trends are used to describe the movement of time series data over a long period of time or over a long period of time and the data used is not continuous. The non-linear trend method is used to solve the workforce problem in Bukittinggi City. Based on the results of linearity detection, the highest value is 0.837 and the scatter plot graph shows the best trend method for analyzing each variable, namely the cubic nonlinear trend method and with the MAPE value of the model, which is 2.08952 because the MAPE value (Mean Absolute Percentage Error) ≤ 10, then the forecast results are very accurate and it can be concluded that the mo del used in forecasting has a very low error rate and based on a comparison of actual data with forecast data that is not much different, it can be concluded that the cubic trend model is right for predicting the number of workforce in Bukittinggi City.

Abstract

The problem of reading and writing the Qur'an is not a common thing for students at school, because this problem is the hardest task for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts made by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in overcoming the difficulties of reading and writing the Qur'an in students of SMA Muhammadiyah 18 Sunggal. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with primary data sources obtained from the field or research location, namely the results of interviews or observations in the field, Islamic Religious Education teachers, principals and students of SMA Muhammadiyah 18 Sunggal. The results of the study showed that the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers in overcoming the difficulties of reading and writing the Qur'an in students were by implementing group learning methods, lecture methods, question and answer methods, and methods of practicing writing verses of the Qur'an. The efforts made gave positive results because all students who graduated from SMA Muhammadiyah were able to read and write the Qur'an. This study is expected to be one of the guidelines for Islamic Religious Education teachers so that they can create the best solution in overcoming the difficulties of reading and writing the Qur'an in students.
