EduInovasi: Journal of Basic Educational Studies is a journal published in the Study Program of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah, the  Islamic Institute of Laa Roiba Bogor. This journal is published twice a year in February and Agust. Furthermore, this journal is published in two versions, namely print and online. The focus of this journal contains articles on research on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education / Primary / MI / SD Teacher Education, such as competency analysis, learning strategies, learning theory, learning development, educator professionalism, and research results. Reviewers will review any submitted paper. The Journal kindly invites scientists, scholars, professionals, and researchers in the form of the contribution with articles to be published and disseminated through: the selection mechanism of the article, criticized by reviewer, and the editing process. Abstract

Positive thinking is an individual's ability to see opportunities and solutions in difficult situations, which can enhance self-efficacy or confidence in one's abilities. For out-of-town students, this skill becomes crucial in facing academic and daily life challenges, especially in preparing to enter the workforce. High self-efficacy enables out-of-town students to face the demands of the job market with greater confidence and productivity. This study aims to examine the relationship between positive thinking and self-efficacy among out-of-town students in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in facing the workforce. The research subjects consisted of 100 out-of-town students, including 65 males and 35 females, aged 18-24 years. Data collection was conducted using research scales distributed through online surveys via Google Forms and social media. The data were analyzed using classical assumption tests and hypothesis testing. The results showed a significance value of 0.000, indicating a positive relationship between positive thinking and self-efficacy. However, the data did not meet the normality and linearity tests, requiring cautious interpretation of the findings. These results highlight the importance of positive thinking in enhancing the self-efficacy of out-of-town students, contributing to their readiness to face the workforce. This study recommends the development of programs to promote positive thinking as a strategy to strengthen the self-efficacy of out-of-town students. Future research is expected to address the limitations of classical assumption tests to produce more valid and generalizable findings.

Abstract

The teaching of Fiqh at UPT SDN 060932 still relies on one-way lecture methods, resulting in passive students, low learning motivation, and suboptimal learning outcomes. The lack of technological innovation in learning, especially in online learning, exacerbates this situation. This study employs the Research and Development method according to Sugiyono, using the Borg & Gall model, to develop a Discovery Learning model integrated with Experiential Learning based on Google Meet. The results show that this model is effective in improving student learning outcomes, as evidenced by an average formative test score of 91, which exceeds the minimum passing grade (75). The development of this model is recommended to be continued to encourage more active and skilled students, and further research is needed to explore its potential in enhancing the quality of Fiqh learning.

Abstract

One of the common problems that occurs in Indonesia regarding conflict management in Taekwondo, is leadership conflict in Taekwondo organizations. In addition, general problems that occur in Indonesia regarding conflict management include educational problems, such as limited access to education, educational inequality, teacher quality, and curriculum that is considered irrelevant. Social problems can also trigger conflict, such as power struggles in political and economic contexts. Social conflict is also a serious concern, with the number of social conflicts in Indonesia tending to increase from year to year. Therefore, conflict management in Indonesia needs to pay attention to various aspects, ranging from education, social problems, to political and economic dynamics. Research Objective: This research is to determine the understanding or description of the differences in conflict management among male and female taekwondo athletes in Ternate City. Method: This research uses a questionnaire as a data collection tool. A questionnaire/questionnaire is a data collection method that has been carried out by asking several types of questions related to the research problem. Abstract

Evaluation is an assessment process that compares the achievement of a program in the field with the standards that have been formulated. Studying the Qur'an, especially when memorizing the Qur'an, must use the right and clear method, and the most common among Quran memorizers is to use the talaqqi method. The purpose of the evaluation of the tahfidz program at the Sabilillah boarding school is to make improvements for the sustainability of the program. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. This research was conducted by collecting descriptive data and then analyzed qualitatively. The data collection method used is observation techniques and literature study. In the observation of researchers, this tahfidz program has obstacles that have an impact on the sustainability of student activities during memorization deposits. Researchers found indications in the form of no students who have successfully completed the memorization of 30 juz even though this program has been running for four and a half years. The evaluation used by the researcher is a type of comprehensive program evaluation that uses the CIPPO Evaluation Model. Regarding the many problems arising from the context and program of tahfidz deposits, further programs have been prepared, namely; Providing a routine schedule of "Mandatory Nderes", adding deposit allocations, checking the ability of students in the smooth reading of the Qur'an and the accuracy of the pronunciation of makharijul khuruf which is carried out every week.

Abstract

In the 21st century, education demands that students acquire a wide range of adaptable skills to navigate technological advancements and global challenges. Elementary schools, as the foundational stage of formal education, play a crucial role in fostering multiliteracy skills. These skills encompass digital, visual, environmental, financial, and cultural literacy. The goal of multiliteracy is not only to enhance cognitive abilities but also to develop students' character and social responsibility. This study aims to examine how multiliteracy is developed in elementary schools to prepare students for the demands of 21st-century education. The research employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, which involves gathering, evaluating, and analyzing pertinent literature on the development of multiliteracy in elementary education. The SLR process includes formulating research questions, selecting keywords, searching scientific databases, and choosing and analyzing studies based on specific criteria. The findings indicate that implementing multiliteracy in basic education positively impacts the development of critical, creative, and adaptive skills, as well as the shaping of students' character. However, challenges in implementing multiliteracy in Indonesia include limited resources and teacher preparedness, necessitating policy support and further training for effective implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between social media usage intention and the tendency of fear of missing out (FoMO) among Gen Z in Yogyakarta. The research utilized a quantitative descriptive and inferential approach with a simple correlation method. A total of 140 Gen Z individuals aged 14–26 years in Yogyakarta participated as research subjects. Data were collected through an online survey using Google Forms, which measured social media usage intention and the tendency of fear of missing out. The survey was distributed via social media, and the data obtained were analyzed using classical assumption tests, Pearson correlation tests, and product-moment analysis. The results showed a significant positive relationship between social media usage intention and the tendency of fear of missing out among Gen Z in Yogyakarta (t = 0.694, p < 0.000). This indicates that the higher the intention to use social media, the higher the tendency for FoMO among Gen Z in Yogyakarta. Although the study was conducted effectively, it has some limitations, such as the lack of focus on a specific type of social media. Therefore, future research is recommended to consider sample balance and employ other, more comprehensive methods to strengthen the findings

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between intrinsic motivation and work discipline among employees of PT Family Aurora Nusantara, a company operating in the food and beverage (FnB) sector. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires from a total sample of 43 employees. The analysis revealed that intrinsic motivation positively and significantly influences work discipline, contributing 24.9% (R² = 0.249), with the remaining variance explained by other factors outside this study. A regression coefficient of 0.595 indicates that a one-unit increase in intrinsic motivation corresponds to a 0.595-unit increase in work discipline. The data also highlighted that higher levels of work discipline are correlated with adherence to company regulations and enhanced employee responsibility. This study emphasizes the crucial role of intrinsic motivation in fostering work discipline within the FnB sector. Companies are recommended to implement strategies such as rewards, training, and individual counseling to enhance intrinsic motivation, thereby improving operational effectiveness and employee well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) in increasing anxiety towards social media in Generation Z. FOMO, which is defined as an excessive fear of missing out on experiences or information felt by others, is one of the significant factors influencing the digital behavior of the younger generation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological study method to explore in depth the experiences and perceptions of Generation Z related to Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and its impact on anxiety in using social media. The results showed that Generation Z has a high level of FOMO, with the majority of respondents reporting excessive use of social media to follow trends, friends' activities, and viral content. This high FOMO has been shown to be positively correlated with increased anxiety, which includes feelings of excessive anxiety, difficulty focusing, and dependence on social validation through social media. These findings confirm that FOMO is a significant psychological challenge for Generation Z in the digital era. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve digital literacy, develop time management strategies in using social media, and create awareness about the impact of FOMO on mental health. This study makes an important contribution to understanding the impact of social media on Generation Z and provides a basis for more effective interventions.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of collaborative learning methods in increasing students' understanding of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research involved PAI teachers, students and school principals as informants to obtain data through interviews, direct observation and documentation. The research results show that collaborative learning has a positive impact on student understanding, active involvement, and development of Islamic character. This method allows students to learn actively through group discussions, increases self-confidence, and strengthens social skills. The average student score increased from 72 to 85 after implementing collaborative learning, while the level of active participation of students also jumped significantly. However, there are challenges in classroom management, such as ensuring all students contribute equally and limited time in group discussions. These findings support the importance of the teacher's role as a facilitator who is able to manage groups effectively. This research concludes that collaborative learning is an effective method in improving learning outcomes and building student character, especially in the context of Islamic religious education. As a recommendation, the development of better teacher training and classroom management strategies is needed to optimize collaborative learning outcomes in the future.

Abstract

Humor has probably existed since humans knew language, or even older. If we trace its origins, humor comes from the Latin word umor which means 'fluid'. Since 400 BC, the ancient Greeks thought that human mood was determined by four types of fluids in the body, namely blood (sanguis), mucus (phlegm), yellow bile (choler), and black bile (melancholy). There are many humor theories, none of which are exactly the same as each other, none of which can describe humor completely, and all tend to be influenced by each other. For students, humor itself functions as a way to lighten the atmosphere when gathering. This research uses qualitative research methods where the research subjects are students who are diagnosed with symptoms of anxiety. The results of this research are that the subject really likes to make people around him laugh, but if when he tells a joke and no one responds the subject will feel panicked, anxious, uncomfortable, uncomfortable and embarrassed, which will then become pressure for the subject. Based on the research results, there were no significant changes in humor in the subjects. In this case, the subject is not only diagnosed with anxiety, but there are also other diagnoses such as depression.
