Abstract

This study explores conflict management strategies to create a conducive work environment for teachers at MA Sirojul Ulum, Krejengan, Probolinggo. Conflicts in schools, such as interpersonal disagreements and structural role ambiguities, disrupt relationships and reduce teaching effectiveness. Effective conflict management is essential for maintaining harmony and productivity in schools. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, gathering data through in-depth interviews with principals, teachers, and staff, as well as observations and document analysis. The data were analyzed thematically to uncover patterns in conflict dynamics and resolution strategies. The findings indicate that structured deliberations and conflict management training significantly enhance communication and collaboration among teachers, fostering a harmonious work environment. Deliberation provides an open platform for resolving conflicts, while training improves teachers' abilities to handle disputes effectively. However, bureaucratic challenges, such as slow administrative processes, often hinder timely conflict resolution, underscoring the need for streamlined procedures. This research introduces a proactive and collaborative approach to conflict management, which goes beyond reactive strategies. By involving all stakeholders principals, teachers, students, and parents in early identification and resolution of conflicts, this participatory model not only addresses existing issues but also strengthens relationships and supports long-term educational goals. In conclusion, integrating proactive and collaborative conflict management strategies improves teacher performance, enhances the quality of education, and creates a sustainable and productive work environment. These insights provide valuable guidance for school administrators and stakeholders aiming to refine conflict resolution systems in educational settings.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of inclusive teaching models within the context of equivalency education, specifically the Paket A program, which is equivalent to elementary education, at UPTD SKB Magetan. Equivalency education and inclusive education in Indonesia play a crucial role in providing equal opportunities for all individuals, including those with special needs, to access quality education. The differentiated learning model was identified as a relevant approach to meet the diverse learning needs of students, especially in inclusive classrooms. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study design, involving interviews and observations of teachers instructing students with special needs at UPTD SKB Magetan. The results show that the differentiated learning model is implemented by adapting content, processes, and assessments according to students' abilities, interests, and learning styles. Challenges faced in the implementation of this model include time constraints, limited resources, and the need for teacher training. Despite these challenges, the benefits are significant, including increased student engagement, motivation, and achievement for students with special needs. The study concludes that the differentiated learning model is an effective approach in inclusive education, helping to create a more inclusive learning environment that supports the success of all students, including those with special needs.

Abstract

Amorphophallus muelleri Blume (porang) is a high-economic value plant widely found in Indonesia, particularly in East Java. The morphological variations of this plant play a significant role in selecting superior seeds and adapting to environmental conditions. Additionally, porang has potential in the energy sector, particularly in biomass energy conversion from its tubers, which are rich in glucomannan. This study aims to analyze the morphological differences of A. muelleri from various regions in East Java and its potential for biomass energy utilization. The observed parameters include the pattern and color of petioles, the shape and color of tubers, and glucomannan content as the main indicator of energy potential. The results indicated three main groups based on petiole patterns: (1) large prismatic, (2) small prismatic, and (3) striped prismatic. The tuber morphology also showed significant differences in shape, color, and water content, which affect energy conversion efficiency. Higher glucomannan content in certain variants suggests their potential as raw materials for bioethanol or renewable energy biomaterials. This emphasizes that morphological variation is not only crucial for selecting superior seeds but also for optimizing energy utilization from porang tubers.

Abstract

This study focuses on examining the extent to which communication, bureaucratic structure, and public support influence the performance of policy implementation related to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The findings indicate that communication, resources, bureaucratic structure, and public support significantly affect the implementation disposition. In particular, within the bureaucratic structure, public support has a notable impact on the core resources, namely lecturers or teaching staff. Furthermore, this study aims to analyze how communication and organizational culture influence leadership styles, the climate of collaboration and trust, as well as the organizational commitment of lecturers in private universities—especially in terms of harmonizing the implementation of the Tri Dharma. The research employs Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to explore causal relationships among variables. A survey method was applied in this research, with a population consisting of lecturers from private universities in Malang, Indonesia. A total of 100 respondents from 11 private universities were selected as the research sample. The results show a direct and significant positive effect of organizational culture and communication on leadership styles, collaborative climate, trust, and organizational commitment among university lecturers. However, there is no significant direct effect of communication on organizational culture. Nonetheless, organizational communication significantly and positively influences both the collaborative climate and lecturers’ organizational commitment. Additionally, work-related trust also has a significant and positive impact on organizational commitment.

Abstract

The success of pesantren education is not solely due to the amount of resources, but because of its ability to design strategies that are integrated with internal strengths and external opportunities. With an integral education model that combines tahfizh, academic, and dormitory systems, Ar-Rohmah has succeeded in building a strong positioning in the midst of urban Muslim communities who crave quality and relevant education. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, and utilizes strategic analysis such as IE Matrix, and BCG Matrix. The results show that Ar-Rohmah has a number of strengths, such as its flagship tahfizh program and international teaching staff, but also faces operational challenges. Externally, great opportunities come from the increasing interest in tahfizh education, although accompanied by threats from modern corporate-based pesantren. Based on the IE Matrix analysis, Ar-Rohmah is in a concentrated growth strategy position, while the BCG analysis places it as a Cash Cow that requires a repositioning strategy. The strategies implemented include a combination of SO, WO, ST, and WT approaches, such as improving the quality of human resources, strengthening accreditation, improving internal services, and establishing alumni networks. With structured managerial management and the integration of spiritual values, Ar-Rohmah shows that pesantren can become superior educational institutions that are adaptive and competitive in the global arena.

Abstract

Aggression is a form of deviant behaviour that has a negative impact on individuals and their social environment. This study aims to systematically examine the factors that influence aggression behaviour by analysing 13 literature studies from 2020 to 2024. The results show that internal factors such as emotional intelligence, self-control, emotional maturity, impulsivity, and cognitive impairment have a significant relationship with the emergence of aggression. In addition, external factors such as family communication patterns, peer influence, school environment, digital media, culture and childhood traumatic experiences also influence aggressive behaviour. This study confirms that aggression is the result of multidimensional interactions between personal and contextual factors. An integrative and evidence-based approach is needed for effective interventions. The findings are expected to serve as a reference in designing aggression prevention and treatment programmes among adolescents and young adults.
