Abstract

Curriculum integration in islamic education refers to involves integrating the concepts and content of religius learning and general learning. This study outlines the integration of salaf Islamic boarding school education with the madrasah curriculum at Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung. This type of research is a type of qualitative research and data collection technique used snowball sampling for interviews, accompanied by observation and documentation. The data were analyzed using integrative and interactive techniques. This study found that the Islamic integrated curriculum in Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung was applied by combining the national curriculum with salaf islamic boarding school (pesantren salaf) education. The integration of madrasa and salaf Islamic boarding school curriculum is to open ourselves to the progress of the times where students are equipped with religious knowledge and general science. Implementation of curriculum integration with a social-religious approach by inserting religious moderation values in learning.

Abstract

Educational institutions cannot be separated from the external environment, such as a multicultural society. Therefore, educational institutions play an important role in internalizing the values of diversity. This qualitative study aimed to explore the strategic management of Darus Sholawat Tahfidz's House in Internalizing Diversity Values of multicultural society. A total of five interviewees of tahfidz’s house asatidz participated in indepth interviews. Data were analyzed using an inductive approach for thematic analysis. This study found the fact that the internalization of diversity values was carried out using a strategic management approach that includes planning, implementation, and evaluation. At the planning stage it is carried out by compiling and planning educational activities by adhering to moderate Islamic wasathiyah values. The internalization of the values of religious moderation is implemented in learning activities and public relations programs at tahfidz,s house. At the evaluation stage it is not only limited to looking at the results, but refers to the context evaluation (evaluation context assessment), input evaluation (assessment of input), process evaluation (evaluation of process), and product evaluation.

Abstract

This article was written against the background of the important role of the taklim assembly in fostering the value of Islamic education in society, especially among teenagers. In this case, the taklim assembly can play a role in providing Islamic education for teenagers. This article aims to provide an overview of the taklim council's strategy in fostering the value of Islamic education for village youth, as well as what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in fostering the value of Islamic education for village youth. This article was written using a qualitative approach with a type of field research. The data sources in this research consisted of two taklim council teachers and two students (teenagers). Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The data obtained was then analyzed using the stages of data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From the results of the study, it is clear that the values of Islamic education taught by the taklim assembly here are moral values, worship values, and creed values. In implementing the values of Islamic education, the taklim assembly applies strategies in the form of integration with subjects, self-development, refraction, modeling, counseling, and becoming a competent caregiver. Things that are supporting factors in implementing Islamic education, namely the existence of family support, a supportive environment, enthusiasm from teenagers, the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is the lack of discipline in students, the emergence of a feeling of laziness.

Abstract

Character education can be widely described as a school-based process to promote personal development in youth, through the development of virtue and moral values. This paper describes how scoutmasters of MTS Tribakti Al-Iklas 2 Anak Tuha Central Lampung have infused the character education values on scout activities at this school. This study uses qualitative methods, with a case study approach. The data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The collected data were then analysed descriptively by using three ways namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results show that the infusing of characer education through actualization model scouting activities in collaboration with teachers as well as block models that have been programmed at the beginning of the school year, such as camps and nature exploration. The characters that can be formed are patience, cooperation, responsibility, social care, courage, confidence, perseverance, creative, religious, patriotism, environmental awareness, independence, discipline and hard work. Terefore, it needs a collaboration scoutmasters of with parents student to to succeed the scouting program. For future research, it is recommended to to probe parent's role in supporting students' scouting activities.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the multiple intelligence approach in teaching and education in madrasas. Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences provides a significant contrast to the models of mind that have traditionally been used to make a good teaching and learning. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the type of library research. The results of this study indicate that the learning approach in madrasas that utilizes multiple intelligences can combine various aspects of intelligence, such as linguistic, intrapersonal, interpersonal and kinesthetic. Multiple intelligence-based learning strategies in madrasas involve several learning aspects aimed at fostering critical thinking skills through various learning methods that are adapted to the material presented.

Abstract

This study aims to find the construction of critical education contained in the novel "Hayy Ibn Yaqzan" by Ibnu Thufail in relation to monotheism education. The novel "Hayy Ibn Yaqzan" is closely related to critical education because it contains the story of the spiritual and intellectual journey of humans in the search for truth. The background of this study is based on the interest in building the conception of critical educational reasoning and exploring other probabilities contained in the classic novel. The main sources of the study are the novel “Hayy Ibn Yaqzan" and related literature that is relevant to the research theme. The research method used is the library research method with content analysis techniques. The content analysis process is carried out by identifying and analyzing the construction of educational reasoning that appears in the novel, as in the findings of this study which include several important aspects, such as education through observation of nature, the use of reason and rational reasoning in understanding religion, encouraging independence in learning religion, moral and ethical education, and the importance of dialogue and critical reflection in the search for spiritual understanding. This study provides new insights for the development of a critical educational approach in the context of Islamic education, as well as enriching the relationship between Islamic literature and critical education. The results of this study can be a reference for Islamic education practitioners in developing critical, reflective, and contextual educational strategies and approaches, especially in relation to the actualization of the independent curriculum.

Abstract

Character education should be implemented from an early age because early age really determines a child's ability to develop their potential. Problems found at Al-Ikhsan TPA include not respecting ustadz, rarely reciting the Koran, behaving impolitely, and there are still people who say dirty words at Al-Ikhsan TPA, Terbanggi Besar District. This research is field research with a qualitative descriptive nature, while the data analysis method uses a deductive method. Utilization of Audio Visual Learning Media Based on YouTube Channels in Forming Children's Character at Al-Ikhsan TPA, namely First, Introduction by preparing equipment including TV, Wifi and YouTube channels. Second, Exploration, namely students have diverse characters, activated through active, innovative, creative, effective and fun learning methods. Third, restructuring, namely the concept of learning by watching YouTube channels and continuing with the question and answer method. Fourth, implementation, namely a 60 minute learning process by broadcasting a YouTube channel about the stories of prophets and apostles. Fifth, Review or Evaluation, namely a question and answer session to evaluate children's understanding of the meaning contained in the YouTube channel. The use of audio visual media based on YouTube channels can shape the character of children at Al-Ikhsan TPA, especially children who have religious, honest, curious, hard working, social care and responsibility characters. Learning using the YouTube channel has several obstacles, including an unstable network and bad weather, resulting in changes to the learning schedule. Therefore, researchers provide recommendations in the form of adding a learning schedule by utilizing the YouTube channel 2-3 times a week, this is done so that children's character formation becomes more effective and optimal.

Abstract

This article focuses on the implementation of strategic management using SWOT analysis at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Berbah. The study aims to explore the implementation of strategic management in the school and provide strategy recommendations based on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis. Data were collected through observation and interviews with the principal of school, and teachers. The findings were analyzed using the SWOT analysis method and IFAS/EFAS calculations that help identify internal and external factors that affect school performance. This research emphasizes the importance of effective strategic management in achieving educational goals and maintaining competitiveness. The results of the analysis can be valuable input for formulating recommended strategies to capitalize on strengths, address weaknesses and take advantage of opportunities while mitigating threats. The results of this study show that strengths have a total value of 3,7 inversely proportional to weaknesses with a total value of 0,65. The company's position has opportunities with a total value of 4 compared to threats with a total value of 1,7. According to the SWOT analysis calculation, the highest value is obtained from the Strenght-Opportunities combination with a value of 7,7.

Abstract

This research aims to explore K.H. Abdul Wahid Hasyim's thoughts about Islamic holistic education. Islamic holistic education is an educational approach that includes spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical aspects in overall individual development. This writing applies qualitative techniques through library research. The data presented in this paper originated from the thoughts of  KH. Abdul Wahid Hasyim spread in many books and articles. The findings from this study are that K.H. Abdul Wahid Hasyim has forward thinking ideas in about Islamic holistic education. His thoughts on character education are also relevant in the context of contemporary Islamic education. In this holistic education, Wahid Hasyim emphasizes five things, including overall individual development, integration of Islamic knowledge and values, contextual learning, strengthening spirituality and building a just society. His thoughts can be a reference in developing holistic Islamic education, which includes the development of all aspects of an individual's life

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of applying the sorogan method in improving ability to read of holy Koran at MTs Takhasus Qur’an Batanghari Lampung Timur. This study is a qualitative research and using case study aprroach. This study aims to make a description, picture or painting systematically, accurately and factually about implementation learning of holy koran using the sorogan method. Research subjects were principals, qur’anic teachers, and students. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used source, technique and time triangulation. The results of this research are implementation of this method is quite effective to improving students' ability to read of holy Koran. However, a number of obstacles were found in the learning process, such as a lack of time for students who needed special attention, a shortage of teacher human resources, and the need for patience and perseverance.
