Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of guitar media in learning national songs for grade V elementary school students. The background of this research is the low participation of students and the lack of integration of character values in the learning of musical arts. The method used was quantitative with a pseudo-experimental design (one group pretest-posttest) with the subjects of 22 grade V students at SD 6 Jekulo. The research instruments include observations, pretest and posttest questions, and interviews. The results showed an increase in students' understanding of the national anthem after learning to use the guitar. The average pretest of 63.59 increased to 81.27 in the posttest with a significance of 0.000 (p < 0.05). Although only 36.4% of students actively play the guitar, singing participation and emotional involvement are quite high. Learning also instills national values contextually. Guitar media has proven to be effective as a fun and interactive means in improving learning outcomes and fostering students' national character. Follow-up research is recommended to be carried out with a longer duration and adequate supporting facilities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using a pianika musical instrument application in learning the traditional song Cublak-Cublak Suweng in the Cultural Arts subject for Grade 5 students at SD Negeri Mejobo. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the use of the pianika application in learning can increase students’ interest, motivation, and skills in playing traditional songs. The consistent application of the drill method has a positive impact on the mastery of pianika playing techniques, the ability to read musical notation, fine motor coordination, and students’ understanding of melody and rhythm. In addition, this learning media creates a more active, interactive, and enjoyable learning environment. Thus, the use of the pianika application has proven to be an effective learning strategy to introduce traditional songs while fostering students’ appreciation of local culture.

Abstract

Twenty-first century education demands mathematics teachers to possess professionalism grounded in philosophical, psychological, sociological foundations and educational principles to effectively address the dynamics of digital-based and character-oriented learning. This study aims to analyze the urgency of strengthening educational foundations and principles in developing the professionalism of mathematics teachers in the 21st century. This research employed a qualitative approach with a library research method. Data were obtained through systematic literature reviews, journal articles, reference books, and educational policy documents, then analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results indicate that strengthening educational foundations encompassing philosophical, psychological, sociological, historical, and juridical aspects serves as a conceptual basis in determining educational policy directions, objectives, and practices that are humanistic, contextual, and aligned with contemporary demands. Meanwhile, educational principles function as normative guidelines in educational practice, such as the principles of humanism, democracy, justice, freedom, activeness, and relevance. The integration of these two elements significantly contributes to enhancing mathematics teachers' adaptive abilities in facing classroom dynamics, technological developments, and shifts in educational policy. Strategies for strengthening teacher professionalism can be optimized through value-based training, MGMP-based lesson study, digital learning communities, and the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program. These findings recommend the importance of designing systematic, collaborative, and value-oriented teacher professionalism development programs to build a national education system that is adaptive, competitive, and character-driven

Abstract

This study aims to determine the background of verbal violence on the Tiktok account @Putriipadang and explain the forms of verbal violence in the comments column on the Tiktok account @Putriipadang and describe the emotional impact and social impact that arises from verbal violence on the Tiktok account @Putriipadang. This research was conducted on the Tiktok account @Putriipadang. The method used in this study is Netnography. The data collection technique used is by using archives, data elicitation and field notes. The results of this study reveal that verbal violence on the Tiktok account @Putriipadang reveals that Putriipadang's viral content went viral because of its different physical appearance. The forms of violence in the comments column are in the form of insults, sarcasm and labeling of Putriipadang's face. The verbal violence of the Tiktok account @Putriipadang has an emotional impact in the form of feeling watched and psychological trauma received by Putriipadang. Abstract

In the world of modern science, Heisenberg's uncertainty principle states that at the quantum level, it is impossible to know the exact position and momentum of a particle simultaneously. Meanwhile, in Islam, the concept of destiny implies the belief that everything has been written by Allah SWT since the beginning of time (before the creation of the universe). From first glance, these two concepts seem contradictory: one emphasizes probabilistic freedom, and the other divine determinism. While the other affirms the other. This article will try to build a quantum theological model that integrates Heisenberg's uncertainty principle as a physics metaphor to understand how destiny and effort can be seen from the point of view of cosmology and epistemology. Using an interdisciplinary approach between quantum physics and Islamic theological thought, this article offers a new framework for understanding the relationship between human autonomy and divine plan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Friday prayer as a habitual effort to foster discipline among upper-grade students at Tahfidz Ababil Elementary School in Pagar Alam City, and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through non-participant observation, structured interviews with supervising teachers and students, and documentation. Data analysis techniques refer to the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the habitual Friday prayer at Tahfidz Ababil Elementary School in Pagar Alam City has proven effective in fostering discipline among students. Students demonstrated active participation, punctuality, and an understanding of the importance of worship. Teachers played a central role as guides and role models, consistently instilling the values of discipline. Key supporting factors included active student involvement, full teacher support, and synergy between parents and the community. However, inhibiting factors also existed, such as a lack of participation among some students, less serious behavior during worship, and sometimes a lack of teacher firmness in supervision. Nevertheless, this program overall contributed significantly to strengthening character education and the continuous instilling of religious values and discipline in students. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of ice breaking in improving student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects in grade 1 of SDN 23 Pagar Alam and identify its inhibiting factors. The background of this study is the low learning outcomes of Mathematics students in grade 1 of SDN 23 Pagar Alam, which is caused by a lack of motivation and a monotonous learning atmosphere. The method used is qualitative descriptive research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The population in this study is all students at SDN 23 Pagar Alam which totals 143 people. The sample was taken through the purposive sampling method, namely all 29 grade 1 students and actively applied ice breaking during classroom learning activities. The findings of this study indicate that ice breaking plays an important role in increasing students' enthusiasm, concentration, and learning achievement. The obstacles found include time constraints, inconsistencies in the type of ice breaking, diverse student characters, and limited supporting facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of reading and writing literacy programs, especially the "15 minutes of reading before learning" activity, in improving the reading ability of lower grade students at SD Negeri 3 Pagar Alam. Furthermore, this study also identifies the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. The background of this research is based on the lack of reading ability among 3C class students and individual obstacles in the learning process. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research population was all 155 students in class 3, with a sample of 8 students selected through purposive sampling. The results show that the 15-minute reading literacy program before learning is effective in improving students' reading ability. However, several inhibiting factors were found, such as irregular library schedules, poor book conditions, and variations in student characteristics. Meanwhile, supporting factors include the active role of teachers, the availability of facilities, and the enthusiasm of some students.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes through the use of flashcard media. The lack of relevant learning media, which is applied during the teaching and learning process, causes low student scores in Arabic subjects in grade 1 of MI AI-Hikmah. Therefore, an interesting flascard media was applied to improve students' learning outcomes in Arabic vocabulary material. This research is a class action research (PTK). What was carried out at MI Al-hikmah Pagar Alam City, involved 21 students. With data collection techniques using observation, tests and documentation. The results of the study show that flascard media can improve students' learning outcomes in recognizing vocabulary in Arabic. Then based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, students' ability in Arabic vocabulary material is categorized to increase. With student learning outcomes carried out during the pre-cycle with an average score of 57.90%, Cycle I with an average score of 67.71%, and Cycle II with an average score of 80.33%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers in the attitude of student learning discipline in Akidah Akhlak subjects at MI Al-Hikmah Pagar Alam City. Teachers are not only tasked with delivering material, but also as role models in shaping student character, including in terms of learning discipline. Disciplinary attitude is one of the important factors that support the success of the learning process, especially in Islamic values-based character education. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation of grade V teachers and students. Data analysis was conducted using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results showed that teachers have a strategic role in shaping student learning discipline, through providing motivation, exemplary, and consistent application of rules. Supporting factors for success include the support of the school environment, good communication between teachers and students, and parental involvement. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include students' low awareness of the importance of discipline and lack of control from the environment outside the school.
