Abstract

Business competition due to a dynamic business environment that makes Padang restaurant businesses must have the ability to have a sustainable competitive advantage. This study aims to analyze the effect of innovation on sustainable competitive advantage through local wisdom as a mediating variable. A quantitative explanatory approach was used in this study with 100 respondents. It uses the accidental sampling technique of the Padang restaurant business in Pekanbaru. The analytical tool used is PLS, with research showing that innovation affects competitive advantage through local wisdom as a mediating variable. Local wisdom as a mediating variable shows the novelty of this research as a form of cultural integration to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. The unique value contained in the product is a symbol of a strong identity so that it can appear different from competitors. The value of the authenticity and uniqueness of Padang food as a culinary and cultural heritage passed down from generation to generation is different from competitors. So, every innovation made by Padang restaurants in Pekanbaru based on the values of local wisdom will increase sustainable competitive advantage.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to see how salary, leadership support, and work-life balance affected teacher effectiveness. The non-probability sampling approach was applied, as well as a purposive sampling strategy. A total of 150 instructors from Padang City, West Sumatra, were employed in this study. SEM and AMOS 24.0 software were utilized in this study's analysis. Compensation has a considerable impact on teacher performance, according to the findings. Teachers' salary has a huge impact on their work-life balance. Support from leaders has a huge impact on teachers' work-life balance. Support from leaders has a substantial impact on teacher performance. Teachers' performance is unaffected by work-life balance. Compensation and leader support have a significant effect on teacher performance, compensation and leader support have a significant effect on work-life balance, and work-life balance has no significant effect on teacher performance, according to the results of this study. Various disputes and challenges will occur as a result of striking a balance between the "work" and "non-work" domains, which must be addressed by persons with families. Work-life balance cannot increase an employee's effectiveness at work. Employees that are able to manage their work and personal life may not necessarily perform better.

Abstract

This research originated from the fact in elementary school that learning is often dominated by teachers as a source of information. The main problem in this research is the achievement of learning result of class V students in science learning, which is the delivery of theory so that the concept of the material is still poorly understood by the students. The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of science learning through contextual approach in class V. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of research is classroom action research. The study consists of two cycles consisting of planning activities, action execution, observation and reflection. The value of learning comprehension of IPA by using the contextual approach in cycle I and cycle II have increased, where students' learning mastery cycle, I with an average of 64% and in the cycle II is 92%. In addition, students have been trained to find out, test it in study groups and then communicate it to other friends. Thus it can be concluded that learning science by using a contextual approach can improve student learning outcomes of grade V SDN 09 Kecamatan Silaut.

Abstract

This study explored: 1) the understanding and skills of teachers in managing PAI learning based on religious moderation for people with disabilities; 2) the form of religious moderation in the teaching of PAI based on religious moderation for people with disabilities; and 3) factors that influence the teaching of religious moderation in religious moderation-based PAI teaching for people with disabilities. Descriptive qualitative field research method was used in this study. The results of the study revealed that: 1) The ability of teachers in carrying out learning was quite good; 2) The forms of religious moderation that are accustomed to the extraordinary schools of Bengkulu city, including attitudes of tolerance, tolerance, egalitarian (equality), caring (empathy), compassion and mutual help or mutual assistance, and responsibility; and 3) Factors that influence the implementation of Islamic religious education learning activities based on religious moderation for the disabled at special schools in Bengkulu city, including supporting factors (stakeholder commitment, facilities and infrastructure, rules and curriculum) and inhibiting factors (knowledge, parental commitment), and teacher commitment).

Abstract

Total quality learning (TQL) merupakan konsep fundamental dan memiliki nilai yang menjadi kunci keberhasilan sebuah institusi manajemen layanan pendidikan dan pembelajaran di sekolah. Rancangan ini menjadi isu perdebatan dalam dunia pendidikan untuk proses dan manajemen mutu pendidikan terpadu yang menempatkan peran sentral guru dan siswa dalam tahapan pelaksanaannya. Namun masih  sangat kecil studi yang digunakan sebagai praktik terbaik untuk kebutuhan perbaikan berkelanjutan dengan keterlibatan penuh dari peran sentral guru dan siswa, Tujuan studi ini adalah untuk melakukan analisis implementasi Total Quality Learning untuk peningkatan berkelanjutan di tingkat Sekolah Dasar di Provinsi DKI Jakarta dan dengan memperhatikan kontribusi faktor gender. Studi kuantitatif dengan populasi 160 guru sekolah dasar negeri di Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan  skala TQL 5 opsi, terdiri dari selalu (5), sering (4), jarang (3), kadang-kadang (2) dan tidak pernah (1), yang mengukur  tingkat kesiapterapan delapan dimensi  Total Quality Learning. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesiapterapan Total Quality Learning masih rendah (52%) dan kontribusi gender perempuan berbeda secara nyata (skor 41.21). Rekomendasi model kesiapterapan mengacu pada konstruk pembentuk model yang dioptimalkan dengan pemberdayaan gender.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak besar pada kesehatan, ekonomi, dan kehidupan sosial masyarakat. Komunikasi merupakan kunci keberhasilan mitigasi bencana, kesiapsiagaan, respon, dan pemulihan. Proses manajemen komunikasi risiko kepada masyarakat umum, pemerintah dan tokoh masyarakat, serta media dapat mengurangi risiko, menyelamatkan nyawa, harta benda, dan mempercepat pemulihan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis mengenai strategi komunikasi risiko berbasis masyarakat di Provinsi Bali. Penelitian ini menggunkan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan pada saat pra penelitian, selama penelitian, dan pasca penelitian. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumen. Subjek penelitian adalah berbagai unsur yang terlibat dalam penanganan Covid-19 di Provinsi Bali. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pada situasi darurat kesehatan manajemen komunikasi risiko merupakan kunci dalam menghadapi risiko yang akan terjadi selama pandemi, kemudian diperlukan perencanaan komunikasi yang melibatkan langsung masyarakat, agar masyarakat dapat mengurangi risiko, dapat segera mengambil tindakan pencegahan dan perlindungan saat pandemi terjadi.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate and identify the relationship and influence between several key factors on budget absorption and financial performance in the production forest area of Karawang Regency. This research explores it comprehensivelyand analyze the causal relationship between budget planning, budget implementation, and the government's internal control system on budget absorption, as well as the impact of budget absorption on financial performance. The research method used was a quantitative description technique involving 200 respondents as samples. Path analysis is used as a quantitative data analysis tool in this research. The research results revealed several significant findings regarding the influence of certain factors on aspects of budget absorption and financial performance in production forest areas in Karawang Regency. First, budget planning is proven to have a significant impact on budget absorption in the forestry production area. Second, budget compliance is also closely related to budget absorption, especially in the Karawang production forest area. Third, the government's internal management system also influences budget absorption in the region. Furthermore, the fourth finding shows that budget absorption has contributed to financial performance in the Karawang production forest area. In addition, research highlights the mediating role of budget absorption, where budget absorption functions as a link between budget planning and financial performance, between household implementation and financial performance, as well as between the government's internal management system and financial performance. Thus, these findings provide in-depth insight into the complex relationship between these factors and highlight the central role of budget absorption in achieving optimal financial performance in the Karawang Regency production forest area.

Abstract

Pada masa sekarang ini, sektor retail mendapat perhatian dari banyak kalangan terutama pemerintah, karena sektor ini diperkirakan akan terus bertumbuh dan menjadi sector yang sangat menjanjikan. Ditengah-tengah pandemic Covid-19 yang mulai melandai diseluruh dunia. Fenomena  dari era Covid-19 adalah retail Online pertumbuhannya melesat naik bahkan pertumbuhan ecommerce telah terlihat sebelum pandemic melanda. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode explanatory. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan atau membuktikan hubungan antar variabel. Sehingga pengaruh antara variabel tersebut dapat diketahui dengan baik dan benar. Pada teknik  pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan melakukan survei dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner. Hubungan Retailing Mix dan Customer satisfaction Hasil analisis regresi bivariate antara Retailing Mix dengan customer satisfaction menunjukan bahwa model regresi mampu menjelaskan 21,40% varians customer satisfaction. Dari ketujuh dimensi Retailing Mix yang memiliki pengaruh positif pada customer satisfaction, ternyata bauran product, harga dan  suasana toko saja yang memiliki hubungan tersebut. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diketahui empat dimensi ditolak dan tiga dimensi dari Retailing Mix tersebut diterima, hal ini mungkin terjadi karena responden menganggap dimensi tersebut memiliki pengaruh yang kecil atau bahkan tidak sama sekali. Masih banyak konsumen yang mengeluhkan pelayananan khususnya Retailing Mix yang di lakukan Superindo masih belum mengenai sasaran yang tepat. Apabila hal ini terus dibiarkan dan tidak mendapat perhatian dari Superindo, kemungkinan beberapa tahun kedepan jumlah konsumen akan berkurang yang dapat berakibat pada siklus hidup organisasi yang pendek.

Abstract

Understanding of students' attitudes in responding, taking initiative and responsibility is needed by the guidance and counseling teacher so that they can optimally develop themselves. This research aims to produce proactivity inventory for senior high school students. The research subjects were senior high school students in Samarinda. The research design used was mixed method design. Inventory validity was conducted through the stage of expert assessment and item-test correlation using Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient analysis, while reliability was obtained by calculating Alpha coefficient through Cronbach's alpha reliability analysis. The results of research generated 48 inventory items that were used to measure proactivity consisting of aspects of choosing response, ability to take initiative and take responsibility. The research conclusion generated proactivity inventory consisting of 48 items including positive and negative statements. Research implications can help the implementation of guidance and counseling services in senior high school.

Abstract

The use of social media is a popular communication tool for children and adolescents, but many adults also use it. This is because the fastest source of information today is social media, but from the many benefits there are also impacts that occur, students become less confident in their social environment, this condition is caused by social comparison, often comparing themselves with others when looking at the status of their friends. This study aims to analyze the conditions of social comparison of students based on gender, number of social media accounts, number of smartphones and number of Instagram followers. This research is a quantitative descriptive study obtained through random sampling. The sample in this study were 213 students from Madrasah Aliyah in Jakarta. Data was collected using the Social Comparison Scale (SCS) with 26 items in a five-point response format. The analysis technique used the item response theory (IRT) approach with the Rasch Model analysis. This research tested descriptive with the help of WINSTEPS Version 4.7.0. The results show that the social comparison tendency of Madrasah Aliyah students in the city of Jakarta is more towards positive social comparison or towards positive behavior, for example students more often compare their own achievements with their friends. In addition, students will more often compare themselves with others if they often see the status of friends who have joined to become their Instagram followers.
