Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the thoughts of prominent figures in the sociology of law from the perspective of the relationship between law and society. This research is motivated by the importance of understanding law not only as a set of written norms, but also as a dynamic social phenomenon influenced by various aspects of social life. The study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design using library research methods. Data were collected from relevant literature, including books, academic journals, and scholarly works, and were analyzed using a descriptive-analytical method. The findings reveal that scholars such as Roscoe Pound, Soerjono Soekanto, Satjipto Rahardjo, and others have made significant contributions to the development of legal sociology by positioning law as a social institution that functions not only as a tool of social control but also as an instrument of social engineering. Their perspectives emphasize the reciprocal relationship between law and society, where law is shaped by social values, culture, and dynamics, while simultaneously playing a role in achieving justice, order, and social welfare. Therefore, the sociological approach to law is essential in understanding the effectiveness and relevance of law in modern society. Abstract

Kekerasan dalam rumah tangga merupakan permasalahan sosial yang masih sering terjadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kondisi psikologis anak sebagai saksi akibat menyaksikan kekerasan dalam rumah tangga serta jangka panjangnya yang akan dialami anak terhadap perilaku anak dan hubungannya dengan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif yang bersumber daru hasil bacaan jurnal ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak yang menjadi saksi KDRT mengalmi gangguan psikologis seperti kecemasan, trauma dan ketidakstabilan emosi. selain itu anak akan mengalami dampak jangka panjang seperti kesulitan dalam membangun hubungan sosial, dan berpotensi munculnya perilaku yang agresif..

Abstract

Christology is a branch of theology that discusses the person and work of Jesus Christ, but understanding it is often hindered by theological and terminological problems. This article aims to explain the problems of Christology and the related key terms, as well as to elaborate their application in Christian Religious Education. The method used is qualitative research with a library research approach, referring to theological books, church council results, and relevant journals. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis and a hermeneutic approach. The findings indicate that the main problem of Christology is the tension between the divinity and humanity of Jesus, which gave rise to heresies such as Arianism, Nestorianism, and Monophysitism. The church responded through ecumenical councils by formulating key terms such as homoousios, hypostasis, kenosis, communicatio idiomatum, and unio hypostatica. Understanding Christology has important implications for Christian Religious Education, namely strengthening the foundation of faith, experiencing faith more meaningfully, building Christ-centered spirituality, and equipping Christian Religious Education teachers to correctly teach the Christian faith amidst the complex flow of digital information.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in making men’s shirt patterns, which had not met the minimum achievement criterion of 74. The initial average score was 72 with only 30% mastery. This study aimed to improve learning outcomes through the use of job sheet media. The research employed classroom action research conducted in two cycles, including planning, action, observation, and reflection. This study was conducted at MAN 2 Madiun with 15 eleventh-grade students as the research subjects. Data were collected through tests, and analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The results show an increase in the average score to 79 with 80% mastery in the first cycle, and 86.3 with 100% mastery in the second cycle. Therefore, job sheet media is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of sports management functions at IBCA MMA Kediri using the POAC approach (planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling). This research employs a descriptive quantitative method, with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to 30 respondents consisting of athletes and coaches. The research instrument has passed validity and reliability tests, making it suitable for use. The results show that all aspects of management namely planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling are in the very good category. This indicates that the application of management functions at IBCA MMA Kediri has been running optimally in supporting the athlete development process. Thus, the sports organization management at IBCA MMA Kediri is considered effective, structured, and sustainable. This study is expected to serve as a reference for sports organizations in improving the quality of athlete management and development.

Abstract

Indonesia’s political system has undergone significant transformation, particularly since the transition from authoritarianism to democracy in the late 20th century. Despite the formal shift toward decentralization and democratic governance, patterns of power centralization and elite dominance remain influential in shaping political outcomes. This study aims to examine how these two dynamics centralization of authority and elite-driven politics interact within Indonesia’s evolving political system. Using a qualitative approach based on literature review and critical analysis, this research explores institutional developments, policy trends, and political behavior across different periods. The findings indicate that although decentralization policies were introduced to distribute power more evenly, in practice, political authority often reconsolidates at the national level through regulatory frameworks and elite networks. Furthermore, political elites continue to play a decisive role in controlling party structures, electoral processes, and policy directions, limiting broader public participation. These conditions create a paradox in which democratic procedures exist, but substantive democracy remains constrained. The study implies that strengthening institutional accountability, enhancing political inclusivity, and reducing oligarchic influence are essential steps toward achieving a more balanced and representative political system in Indonesia.

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis penegakan hukum terhadap tindak pidana penganiayaan yang menyebabkan kematian anggota pencak silat di wilayah hukum Polres Madiun serta menilai efektivitasnya dalam menurunkan tindak pidana serupa. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan hukum empiris dengan orientasi sosio-legal. Data diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan, dokumentasi perkara, observasi, dan wawancara dengan aparat kepolisian, pengurus perguruan pencak silat, bidang advokasi, serta tokoh masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penegakan hukum telah berjalan melalui penerimaan laporan, penyelidikan, penyidikan, pengumpulan alat bukti, penetapan tersangka, dan pelimpahan perkara sesuai kerangka hukum acara pidana. Akan tetapi, efektivitasnya belum optimal karena masih terdapat kendala pembuktian, kesulitan menentukan pelaku utama dalam kekerasan kolektif, tekanan solidaritas kelompok, fanatisme, provokasi media sosial, dan budaya hukum masyarakat yang belum sepenuhnya menolak kekerasan. Data perkara 2010-2025 memperlihatkan pola fluktuatif dengan kecenderungan meningkat, termasuk munculnya perkara fatal pada beberapa tahun tertentu. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan penegakan hukum tidak cukup ditentukan oleh norma pidana, tetapi juga oleh keterpaduan substansi hukum, struktur penegakan hukum, dan budaya hukum masyarakat. Pendekatan represif perlu diperkuat dengan pencegahan yang konsisten melalui sinergi kepolisian, perguruan pencak silat, pemerintah daerah, dan masyarakat.

Abstract

The shipping industry requires effective human resource management through a crew rotation system to ensure operational continuity and compliance with cross-border administrative regulations. In practice, crew rotation often faces challenges, particularly the complexity of immigration requirements that may lead to administrative violations. This study aims to analyze the implementation of crew rotation, its impact on administrative compliance, and the measures taken to mitigate the risk of administrative violations in the crew rotation process. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through direct observation of the crew rotation process, interviews with crewing staff, and documentation review of administrative documents required in the crew rotation process. The research findings indicate that crew rotation has been carried out in accordance with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures, starting from the planning stage through to mobilization, with all required administrative documents prepared prior to departure. However, the potential for administrative violations still arises due to external factors, particularly sudden changes in port call schedules at the client’s request without confirmed information regarding the vessel’s subsequent arrival schedule. The improvement strategies are focused on strengthening coordination with clients and agents, implementing formal and written schedule confirmation mechanisms, adopting a more integrated system, and conducting layered verification of crew documents during the embarkation waiting period. These measures are expected to minimize the risk of administrative violations resulting from unforeseen operational dynamics.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in supporting national economic growth. However, many MSME actors still face obstacles in obtaining business permits, which can affect the legality and sustainability of their businesses. Legal certainty in business licensing is therefore very important to provide protection and convenience for MSME actors. This study aims to analyze legal certainty in business licensing for MSMEs in Indonesia. The research method used is normative juridical with a statutory and conceptual approach. The results show that the government has made efforts to simplify business licensing through the implementation of the Online Single Submission (OSS) system. This system provides convenience, speed, and transparency in the licensing process. Nevertheless, challenges still exist, such as limited understanding of technology among MSME actors and uneven socialization. Therefore, stronger regulations and better assistance are needed to ensure legal certainty for MSMEs in obtaining business permits.

Abstract

The increasing consumption of mental health content on digital platforms has intensified the need for effective communication strategies that balance clarity and audience engagement. This study examines how metadiscourse markers function in Psych2Go YouTube video narratives to construct accessible and engaging edutainment discourse. Drawing on Hyland’s (2005) metadiscourse framework and employing Qualitative Content Analysis (Mayring, 2000), this study analyses three selected video transcripts. The findings reveal that interactive markers function as structural devices that organize and simplify complex psychological information, while interactional markers serve as relational tools that foster audience involvement and parasocial connection. More importantly, the study demonstrates that the effectiveness of Psych2Go’s narratives lies in the dynamic interplay between these two marker types, enabling the transformation of monologic discourse into a dialogic and relatable experience. These findings contribute to a more nuanced understanding of how linguistic strategies shape digital communication.
