Abstract

This study aims to develop an android-based mathematics learning media using augmented reality on curved side space, and to find out the feasibility of android-based mathematics learning media using augmented reality on curved side space material. This research is a development research that uses the ADDIE development model. The subjects in this study were students of SMP IT Bustanul 'Ulum class IX, material experts, and media experts. Based on the research that has been done, the results of the feasibility of learning media from material experts are obtained by a percentage of 96.88% which is included in the very feasible criteria, from the media experts a percentage of 91.67% is obtained which is included in the very feasible criteria, from the student responses the percentage is obtained of 84.67% which is included in the very feasible criteria, and from the combined feasibility calculation, a percentage of 91.07% is obtained which is included in the very feasible criteria. Based on the results of the assessment, the android-based mathematics learning media using augmented reality on the curved side space material is declared very feasible to be used as a learning medium in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the process of mathematical reflective abstraction of students with high early mathematics ability in problem solving based on Krulik and Rudnick's steps on geometry material. This research is a case study qualitative research. The research subjects were students of MAN 1 Ngawi who were taken by purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique was done by task-based interviews. The results of the problem solving task and interview data are then presented and analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that students who are highly capable in every step of problem solving according to the Krulik and Rudnick stages always bring up a complete reflective abstraction which includes recognition, representation, structural abstraction, and structural awareness. Subjects utilize previous knowledge related to trigonometry in solving geometric problems. In reflective abstraction activities, it can be seen how students construct conceptual knowledge, by providing reasons for the decisions made. This is in accordance with the demands of learning in the new normal era, students are required to construct their own mathematical knowledge.

Abstract

Pneumonia is one of the leading causes of death in children in the world. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that this disease causes 16% of deaths in children under 5 years of age worldwide. Pneumonia is included in the top 10 diseases that suffer the most every month at the RSUD dr.Tengku Mansyur Tanjungbalai, throughout 2019 there were 73 children under five years with pneumonia and 5 of them were declared dead without hospitalization. This study is useful to find out the results of the classification accuracy of the classification and regression trees (CART) for risk factors for pneumonia in children under five years. CART classification is done by dividing the total data of under-five patients with the ratio of 15% testing data and 85% learning data. The classification accuracy obtained for the prediction data was 50% with the percentage of sensitivity and specificity of 94,12% and 14,29% respectively.

Abstract

Online learning now days, learners experience a decrease in the understanding of learning materials. This happens, because the learning media used by teachers still uses conventional learning media such as Ms.word / PDF. Moreover, learners are required to learn independently. Therefore, a learning media is needed to help students overcome the problem. This research is a website-based learning media development research that aims to help students in the online learning process, as well as knowing the feasibility of learning media using google with a metacognition approach to problem solving. The data collection instruments used are observations and questionnaires. The development of this learning media, is done by the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) method. Technical data analysis is carried out qualitatively to measure data descriptively and quantitatively to calculate the score of the feasibility trial results of learning media that researchers have developed. The results of this learning media development research based on the feasibility of learning media earned a percentage on an 83% basis with excellent categories. For trials the metacognition capability of problem solving obtained a percentage of 76% with good categories. Thus, the learning media of mathematical learning media using google that researchers developed is very feasible to use.

Abstract

Creative thinking skills are one of the skills that must be developed in order to pursue developments in the 21st century. The development of creative thinking skills must be applied within a formal education level. One of the areas of study taught in formal education is mathematics. Mathematics can be used to solve problems in everyday life by using mathematical modeling. This study aimed to analyze the students' mathematical creative thinking skills in mathematical modeling with descriptive design. The steps on this research consisted of designing a test of creative thinking skills; Interviewed test results of mathematical creative thinking skills; and analyzed student answers results on mathematical creative thinking skills tests. The subject of the study consisted of 65 of junior high school students of class VIII. Findings demonstrate the skills of creative thinking students in modeling in the category of students with high mathematical abilities is that students can create unique models and seek solutions using different ways with logical and systematic, in medium category, students have a tendency to use trial and error methods as well as procedural ways to test models made, while in low category, students tend to use trial and error Test the model and resolve the problem.

Diberikan K merupakan lapangan bernilai non-Archimedean. Pada paper ini dikonstruksikannorma-2 non-Archimedean pada ruang barisan ‘¥(K). Selanjutnya, dikaji mengenai hubunganantara norma-2 non-Archimedean dan norma non-Archimedean pada ruang tersebut, sehingga diperoleh hubungan antara kelengkapan ruang ‘¥(K) terhadap norma-2 non-Archimedean dan norma non-Archimedean.

Abstract

In Java, there is a tradition called death commemoration. In Javanese society, death commemoration consists of geblag (commemoration afther funeral), commemoration at 3rd day of the death, 40th day of the death, 100th day of the death, 1 year, 2 years, and 1000th day of the death. This was a descriptive research. It used ethnography method. The data was collected by interview, observation, and literature study. The result said that to decide the day and pasaran of death commemoration, it is need to use modulo concept. We used modulo 7 to decide the day, because there are seven days in a week and to decide the pasaran we used modulo 5 because there are five pasarans. It means that death commemoration tradition in Javanese society applied mathematical concept. Then, death commemoration tradition in Javanese is a part of ethnomathematics.

Abstract

Persediaan memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam perusahaan agar dapat melangkah dengan baik. Pengendalian persediaan harus lebih diperhatikan berhubungan dengan biaya yang ditanggung oleh perusahaan. Persediaan pil KB di gudang alat kontrasepsi Badan Kependudukan Keluarga Berencana Nasional Provinsi Sumatera Utara sangat dibutuhkan, karena pengendalian persediaan yang dilakukan perusahaan tidak optimal. Dimana sering terjadi penumpukan pil KB yang membuat persediaan perusahaan menjadi tidak terkontrol dan mengakibatkan biaya penyimpanan pil KB semakin besar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menerapkan metode Economic Part Period dan Part Period Balancing pada pengendalian persediaan pil KB agar lebih optimal. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, yaitu metode Economic Part Period dan Part Period Balancing. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan metode Part Period Balancing lebih optimal dibandingkan dengan metode Economic Part Period. Perusahaaan dapat menghemat total biaya persediaan pil KB pada tahun 2019 sebesar Rp. 6.160.025.800 apabila menggunakan metode Part Period Balancing.

Abstract

Penyakit jantung adalah sebutan umum dari semua penyakit yang menyerang organ jantung atau merupakan keadaan ketika jantung mendapati suatu hambatan dan salah satu dari sekian banyak penyakit yang merupakan pemicu kematian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui penggunaan metode Poisson Ridge Regression (PRR) terhadap hasil analisis kematian akibat penyakit jantung di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat H. Adam Malik Medan. PRR merupakan metode yang umumnya dilakukan untuk memperkirakan regresi data cacah, dan sangat sensitif terhadap multikolinieritas. Dalam penelitian ini, PRR digunakan untuk menganalisis kematian akibat penyakit jantung dengan adanya kasus multikolinearitas. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa estimasi parameter model PRR sedikit berbeda dengan estimasi model regresi poisson dimana nilai estimasi variabel penderita penyakit gagal jantung (X1) = 0,030751, nilai estimasi penderita penyakit jantung bawaan (X2) = -0,002125, nilai estimasi penderita penyakit jantung iskemik (X3) = -0,003085 dan nilai estimasi penderita hipertensi (X4) = 0,009689. Kesimpulannya adalah dari keempat variabel, dua diantaranya memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kematian akibat penyakit jantung yakni penderita penyakit gagal jantung dan penderita hipertensi. Artinya semakin banyak penderita penyakit gagal jantung dan hipertensi, maka semakin banyak pula jumlah kematian akibat penyakit jantung.

Abstract

Opsi Asia adalah opsi dimana besar perhitungan keuntungannya menggunakan rata-rata harga aset selama periode kontrak. Penentuan harga Opsi Asia yang umum digunakan adalah dengan metode Black-Scholes. Metode Black-Scholes mempunyai beberapa syarat yang harus terpenuhi, salah satunya adalah logaritma dari rata-rata harga aset berdistribusi normal atau nilai skewness dan kurtosis tidak normal. Dalam aplikasinya, sangat sedikit kasus dimana syarat ini terpenuhi . Salah satu solusi dari permasalahan ini adalah memasukkan nilai skewness dan kurtosis kedalam model. Model ini menggunakan ekspansi Gram-Charlier untuk menambahkan nilai skewness dan kurtosis kepada rumus Black-Scholes. Harga Opsi Asia yang diperoleh adalah harga opsi Asia metode Black-Scholes ditambah dengan persamaan yang berhubungan dengan skewness dan kurtosis yang tidak normal. Dalam studi kasus dilakukan perbandingan harga Opsi Asia metode Black-Scholes dengan ekspansi Gram-Charlier dimana data yang digunakan adalah data simulasi dan diperoleh kesimpulan nilai skewness dan kurtosis dapat mempengaruhi harga Opsi beli Asia dengan Metode Black-Scholes.
