Abstract

This study examines the problem of mastering the movement quality of the Single Mask Dance because this dance has a fairly high level of complexity. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of presentation, movement techniques, and movement quality of the Single Mask Dance through Technique and Expression according to Margaret N H'Doubler's perspective. This research can be used as an opportunity for further study regarding the mastery of movement quality in other types of dance using Technique and Expression theory. The research method used is descriptive qualitative analysis and data collection techniques through interviews, observations, literature studies, and document studies. The data obtained includes: 1) the form of presentation of the Single Mask Dance which can be seen through the analysis of the structure of the movement, 2) the movement technique which includes three aspects, namely the regulation of breath, energy, and rhythm, 3) the expression presented through the movement of the mask and body movements. The results of the analysis and interpretation of the data explain that the Single Mask Dance fulfills all sub-chapters in Technique and Expression. Thus, it can be concluded that Technique and Expression can be used as an effort to master the Single Mask Dance.

Abstract

This thesis examines the problem of building the character of Adaninggar in the Menak Wayang Golek show entitled Putri Kaelani. The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the Menak Wayang Golek show entitled Putri Kaelani using Maurice Merleau-Ponty's Perceptual Phenomenology theory. The benefits of this research are able to support the improvement of the quality of dancing for the students of Sanggar Surya Kirana. The research method used is qualitative research with ethnographic and autoethnographic approaches. The conclusion that can be, that the process of building the character of Adaninggar according to Maurice Merleau-Ponty's Perception Phenomenology is how the process of gaining experience as a whole in order to get a perception of the world of performing arts. The research data can be categorized into four data, namely the general description of the Surya Kirana studio, the form of presentation of the menak puppet show entitled Putri Kaelani, the characters in the menak puppet show entitled Putri Kaelani, the process of building the character of Adaninggar. The four data above will be analyzed using Maurice Merleau-Ponty's Perception Phenomenology theory, supported by Richard Boleslavsky's character building method, through the first six lessons for aspiring actors.

Abstract

This thesis discusses problems using conventional learning media in floor pattern material is the main thing during learning. The purpose of this study to explain the process and analyze the results of the feasibility test for the development of dance learning media based on the Pyware 3D Interactive application on floor pattern material. The research method used is research and development or R&D (Research and Development) with the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. This is done by limiting it to the small-scale trial stage. Based on the results of small-scale trials from the assessment of learning experts and media experts with the result "Very Feasible". The conclusion from this study is that learning media based on the Pyware 3D Interactive application for learning dance floor patterns is “Worth” using, because it has many features that can help students and teachers optimize skills.

Abstract

This study examines the problem of the less optimal learning outcomes of motion exploration whether it is related to several aspects, namely motion creativity and emotional intelligence. This study aims to measure the relationship between Motion Creativity and Emotional Intelligence with Motion Exploration Learning Outcomes in Class XI Students of SMAN 5 Tangerang City. This study uses quantitative research methods with correlation techniques, data collection techniques with a total sample of 65 students. The data collection technique used a performance test for the Variables of Motion Creativity and Movement Exploration Learning Outcomes, and a non-test in the form of a questionnaire for the variable of emotional intelligence. The results of this study indicate that it is concluded that there is a relationship between the variables x1 and x2 simultaneously with the variable y. The contribution of the relationship between the variables x1 and x2 simultaneously with the variable y is 90.6%.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the learning process of applying the Numbered Head Together (NHT) method to dance classification material to increase student learning activeness, which is the problem in this study. This problem leads to a lack of student activity in the learning process. In this study, the research method used was Classroom Action Research Classroom Action Research from Kurt Lewin with two cycles consisting of a series of steps consisting of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection in each cycle. Research activities took place from March to May 2023 at SMAN 30 Jakarta, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta. Data is collected through data collection techniques in the Form of questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the application of the NHT method to dance classification material could increase student learning activity based on the pre-cycle results of 57%, the first cycle increased by 78%, and the second cycle became 91%. The conclusion of this study is to use the Numbered Head Together (NHT) method on dance classification material to increase student learning activeness and experience an increase in each indicator of student learning activeness.

Abstract

This study raises the problem that exists in class X Clothing 2 SMK Negeri 27 Jakarta, namely the lack of ability in students' critical thinking in dance learning. This problem occurs because the learning method at school has not led to activities that make students able to think critically, monotonous learning makes students bored. This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills in dance learning through the Team Games Tournament (TGT) method in dance criticism material. This study used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method from Kurt Lewin which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely Planning, Action, Observation, and Reflection. The research took place from February to May 2023 at SMK Negeri 27 Jakarta. Data was collected through a learning process in dance criticism material in 8 meetings for 2 cycles. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and tests. The results showed that based on the results of the pre-cycle value of 46.6%, then cycle I increased to 71%, and cycle II to 86%. This can be interpreted that the application of the TGT learning method can significantly improve students' critical thinking skills. The conclusion of this study is that the TGT learning method has experienced a significant increase as evidenced by the learning outcomes using dance criticism material.

Abstract

The changes in movement and function that were once dances for welcoming ceremonies have become ballroom dances are imbued with the aesthetics of Sipato Modernism. this research focuses on: how Sipatomo uses her dance aesthetics as a teaching module for Pencasilla students to study the art of dance. the theory used in this study is teaching material theory, which is considered to be related to aesthetic theory. this study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. data collection strategies were conducted through interviews, observations and literature review and were processed according to research objectives. "9” the semantic aesthetics of the dance movement called doorway and the supporting elements such as make-up, clothing, accompaniment, venue, etc. the functions and semantic shifts of Sipato Modernism are unique curricula to realize local wisdom in Betawi culture. It is used as a teaching module in a project to empower Pancasila's students. based on the analysis results on Sipato modern aesthetics, the moral and social values that must be maintained and further developed by making it a teaching module there.

Abstract

Topeng Nindak-Nandak Dance is a creation of Betawi Mask Dance which was produced by Sanggar Margasari with dance director Selvie Ervieliani in 2009. This research is focused on: How is the form and meaning of Topeng Nindak-Nandak Dance as a performance dance at Studio Margasari Kacrit Putra. The theory used in this study is the theory of semiotics by Charles Shanders Peirce. Triadic theory is divided into several levels, firstness, secondness and thirdness. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection strategy was carried out by observation, literature study and interviews which were then processed according to the research objectives. Based on the results of the analysis conducted on the Nindak-Nandak Mask Dance at the Margasari Kacrit Putra Studio, the form and meaning of the dance are interrelated in one unified whole. The Nindak-Nandak Mask Dance is a performance dance that is suitable and worthy of being performed as a work that can be enjoyed in terms of the workmanship, value and meaning contained therein. There are the main elements of dance performances: Gestures, music, costumes, make-up, lighting and decorations, choreography, expressions and emotions that have been designed to the maximum extent possible. Abstract

The problem in this study is the low self-confidence of students in performing dance movements. This study aims to increase the realm of students' self-confidence in learning dance by applying the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method from Kurt Lewin, carried out in two cycles in this study. Each cycle has four stages, namely planning (Planning), action (Action), observation (Observing) and reflection (Reflecting). This research took place from February to June 2023 at SMAN 2 Bogor City. Data was collected through data collection techniques in the form of observations of students' self-confidence, observations of the implementation of learning models, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the application of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model could increase students' self-confidence in dance learning, based on the average percentage obtained in the pre-cycle of 43%, and there was an increase in cycle I to 72%, after cycle II increased to 86.20%. These results indicate that applying the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model to foster students' self-confidence in dance learning has increased, as evidenced by the complete grades obtained by most students.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how big the relationship is between Kinesthetic Intelligence and Student Confidence with Dance Learning Outcomes. This study uses a quantitative research method with a correlational research design. The data collection technique used the Stratified Random Sampling technique with a total population of 215 students and a sample of 139 students. The results showed that: (1) There is a relationship between kinesthetic intelligence and learning outcomes of the Plate dance with the Pearson Correlation showing 0.149 and a determination coefficient of 82% (2) There is a relationship between self-confidence and learning outcomes of the Plate dance with the Pearson Correlation showing 0.497 and coefficient of determination of 81% (3) There is a significant relationship between kinesthetic intelligence and self-confidence of 0.002 <0.05 with a positive correlation and a coefficient of determination of 68% (4) There is a relationship between X1 and X2 with Y, the results of the study are simultaneously known coefficient of determination of 84%. Kinesthetic intelligence and student self-confidence influence each other and can contribute to the learning outcomes of plate dance in class VIII students at SMP Regina Pacis Bogor.
