Abstract

Accurate and up-to-date population data is essential for development planning, decision-making, and improving the quality of public services. However, population data management in Semper Barat Subdistrict still faces challenges such as reporting delays and the lack of data utilization for more precise analysis and policies. Therefore, this study aims to develop a population monitoring system using Tableau Public to visualize data on births, deaths, arrivals, and migrations. The methodology includes data collection and processing, interactive dashboard design, and data visualization implementation using bar charts and line charts with filters based on neighborhood units (RW) and years. The results indicate that Tableau Public enhances efficiency in presenting population information, aids in identifying demographic trends, and supports data-driven decision-making. With this system, population management in Semper Barat Subdistrict is expected to become more transparent and responsive to ongoing social dynamics.

Abstract

The COVID-10 pandemic has created a contraction for the tourism industry in Indonesia due to strict social mobility restrictions (lockdown) in all regions. Thus, travel service business actors are affected and must be able to survive the uncertainty of the situation. Maintaining business sustainability cannot be separated from the role of stakeholders, such as that carried out by TravelKif. Through a dynamic strategic approach, TravelKif strives to proactively build and maintain its relationship with the Indonesian Embassy in Paris for business sustainability through its involvement in collaborative activities and personal strategic initiatives. This research aims to identify the implementation of stakeholder strategies carried out by TravelKif in building and maintaining its relationship with the Indonesian Embassy in Paris to maintain business sustainability. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that the stakeholder relationship strategy carried out by TravelKif towards the Indonesian Embassy in Paris can make TravelKif's business sustainability survive, grow, and develop positively. Through the Indonesian Embassy in Paris role, TravelKif can obtain new clients from its partner networks and highlights from its publications. The implications of stakeholder relations on TravelKif's business sustainability can make it easier for companies to escape from difficult situations, increase stakeholder trust, and improve more solid relationship interactions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of @Urbansneakersociety Instagram Account Content on interest in buying shoes for Fki Ums students. This research is a type of quantitative research. The independent variable (X) in this study is the account content on Instagram @urbansneakersociety and for the dependent variable (Y) is the interest in buying shoes for FKI UMS students. The population in this study are followers of the @urbansneakersociety Instagram account with other criteria, namely 18-25 years old and are FKI UMS students. This type of data collection in this study uses non-propability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The number of samples in this study amounted to 97 people. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire media. The scale used in this data collection process uses a Likert Scale. The data analysis technique of this research is the research instrument test, classical assumption test and normality test, regression test, model feasibility test (Goodness of Fit). From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Instagram content (X) @urbansneakersociety has an effect on the variable Purchase Interest (Y) shoes on FKI UMS students.

Abstract

Waste monitoring and management in tourist areas based on a website is an innovative solution to maintain cleanliness and the beauty of tourism environments. This system is designed to assist tourism managers in monitoring trash bin conditions in real-time and efficiently managing waste handling data. Currently, waste management in many tourist areas is still performed manually, making it less effective in maintaining optimal cleanliness. Therefore, the author developed a waste monitoring and management system based on a website using the Waterfall model. This system was built using the PHP programming language, the Laravel framework, and MySQL as the database. The system consists of two main dashboards: the admin dashboard and the staff dashboard. The admin dashboard features include managing trash bin data, scheduling waste collection, and generating waste management reports. Meanwhile, the staff dashboard is equipped with features for reporting trash bin conditions and scheduling waste collection. This system can be accessed via computer or mobile devices, providing flexible and efficient management. With this system, waste management in tourist areas is expected to become more structured, helping to maintain environmental cleanliness and enhance visitor comfort.

Abstract

This research aims to create an e-disposition letter information system application, improve the efficiency of letter management, facilitate access and tracking of letters, so as to improve the quality of public administration services. The method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD), the results of which research developed a web-based letter e-disposition information system for the Tungkal Jaya Sub-District Office, Musi Banyuasin Regency. This system is designed to improve the efficiency of letter management by reducing the use of paper, accelerating the flow of disposition, and facilitating real-time monitoring of letter status, this system has been tested and proven to be able to help various actors involved, such as admins, employees, secretaries, and leaders in managing incoming and outgoing letters more effectively. The implementation of this system is expected to support the digitalisation of government administration and improve the quality of public services in the sub-district office.

Abstract

Learning visual communication design lectures using Mixed Reality with Hololens glasses that display Motion, Image Graphics, and interesting lecture interests, Mixed Reality method-based technology, a combination of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, a blend of the virtual world with the real world. This innovation is the answer to the recent transition from pandemic to normal, increasing the attractiveness and enthusiasm of students in lecture activities that are used to being passive begin to become active again. The use of Mixed Reality requires MR Box Hololens hardware support. With the Mixed Reality application, 3D designs and animations look more alive and from semi-real to real. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method, which describes how the manufacturing process reaches its destination. The development of learning with Mixed Reality is by following the Visual Communication Design study program, gives students a persuasive and, overview of the all designs.

Abstract

This article aims to explore how the audience of Pinrang_info responds to controversial issues shared on the account. Does the audience tend to offer support or voice protests? The study analyzes audience responses to content shared on the Pinrang_info Instagram account, collected through comments, likes, and shares on each post discussing controversial topics. The analysis seeks to identify patterns in audience interactions, including positive, negative, or neutral sentiments expressed in their comments, as well as categorize audience responses by type. The Pinrang_info Instagram account serves as a platform for voicing controversial issues emerging in society, with an emphasis on criticism of law enforcement, social injustice, and the abuse of power. Audience responses indicate that social media increasingly serves as a channel for the public to express their concerns. Although the responses vary between serious and humorous, the audience tends to accept and agree with the posts shared.

Abstract

This study examines the queuing system at the Pangsit Chili Oil business by implementing the Single-Phase Single Channel (M/M/1) model to broadcast service quality. Data collection was conducted on December 1, 2024 for five operating hours (11:00-16:00 WIB), involving a total of 49 customers. The analysis shows that the frequency of customer arrivals (λ) reached 9.8 people per hour, while the service rate (μ) was recorded at 14.27 people per hour. In this system, the utility (ρ) was found to be 68.7%, with an average queue size ranging from 1 to 2 customers and a waiting time of around 9 minutes. These findings indicate that the service system operates efficiently and has a spare capacity of 31.3% to handle customer transmission. From a practical perspective, the results of this study can be used by management to improve resource distribution, employee scheduling, and service area layout arrangements in order to maintain a balance between operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This model also has the potential to be applied to other culinary businesses with similar operational characteristics, especially micro and small businesses that have limited resources. Future research could explore multi-channel queuing models to respond to business growth or the application of digital ordering technology to improve system efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of stress, taste preferences, and social factors on consumer purchasing decisions for healthy food products, focusing on Taste Twist products in Jatinangor. The method used is a qualitative approach through semi-structured interviews with purposively selected respondents. The results of the study indicate that stress levels affect food preferences, where individuals tend to choose foods that provide emotional comfort. Preferences for local flavors, such as rendang and gulai, also play an important role in influencing consumer purchasing interest, especially those who have an emotional attachment to traditional flavors. Social factors, such as recommendations from friends and family, also influence purchasing decisions, especially in the context of trying new products. In conclusion, consumer purchasing decisions for healthy food products are influenced by a combination of stress, taste preferences, and social influences. Therefore, the development of healthy food products such as Taste Twist needs to balance between delicious taste and health benefits in order to attract more consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of the use of Instagram social media by PPID Semarang City in providing public information services. Instagram, as a popular social media platform, has great potential to increase access and transparency of information to the public. The method used in this study is content analysis of Instagram posts by PPID Semarang City in a certain period. The main focus of the analysis is the type of content shared, the frequency of posting, and the level of interaction with the public, including likes, comments, and shares. The results of the study show that although Instagram is used effectively to disseminate information about government policies, programs, and public services, public interaction is still relatively low. This shows that although the information presented is quite informative, it is less able to attract attention and encourage public participation. This study concludes that in order to increase the effectiveness of Instagram as a means of public information services, there needs to be an improvement in terms of content strategies that are more interesting, interactive, and encourage active community involvement. Thus, Instagram can be more optimal in increasing transparency and communication between the government and the public.
