Abstract

Education is crucial for all mankind. It is achieved to perfect all aspects of human’s life and to attain perfection in one’s life. To achieve true education, one must keep knowledge on the philosophy and objectives of education put forth by different religions and civilization but more importantly as stipulated in the Al-Quran and Sunnah. These sources help in the operative formulation of generating the complete growth of individual with integrated, balanced, and collective personality. The principal task of education is, to nurture the personal growth of a human being. It is through this development of the individual and the preservation and transmission of culture that both the individual and society attains a quality of life. A good man is not necessarily a complete man. No one can be stared as a complete human because there is no end to the growth of human personality. A wide knowledge of many subjects helps in the growth of personality (psychology) provided a man knows how to modify behavior and knows how knowledge and actions are integrated into a broad, total framework of life. This issue has been taken into hand to provide an insight from Islamic perspective for a broad continuum of personality development or what in contemporary era is called human psychology. An analytical approach is adopted to search the sources which contain information related to human nature in order to justify that religion has a strong voice to help humans to cognize the role of Islamic Psychology in human development.

Abstract

The primary objective of Qur’anic interpretation is to address its pressing significance, necessitating meticulous analysis. Hasan Hanafi seeks to overturn the classical approach, where interpretation starts from the Qur’an and moves towards understanding reality, by proposing a reverse trajectory, from reality to the text. This research delves into the methodological framework of Hanafi’s socio-phenomenological approach to Qur’anic interpretation. The socio-phenomenological approach, rooted in philosophy and social sciences, is employed as a tool for engaging with the Qur’an. Its aim is to mitigate subjectivity and prioritize the urgency of addressing communal concerns through interpretive studies. Content analysis is the research methodology employed, specifically employing descriptive analysis to comprehensively scrutinize the data at hand. A thorough library research method was implemented, encompassing an extensive survey of meticulously selected literature. The findings reveal that Hasan Hanafi’s interpretation aligns with the fundamental thematic method but adopts a more eclectic approach. Hanafi places greater emphasis on the pressing interests and challenges faced by the community, which are then confronted with the Qur’an in search of solutions. By emphasizing the relevance of the Qur’an to the social realities and phenomena of contemporary society, Hanafi’s method advocates for a dynamic and contextually sensitive interpretation that addresses the community’s urgent needs and problems. This study highlights the strengths of the socio-phenomenological approach, notably its capacity to provide holistic and profound understandings of social contexts and phenomena. Through its engagement with diverse disciplines and perspectives, this method encourages a comprehensive interpretation that takes into account the multidimensional nature of social issues.

Abstract

The background of this research is related to the most basic issues and has become the discourse among legal practitioners and academics so far, regarding how the rights of women and children that have been imposed by judges through their decisions can be implemented properly by ex-husbands voluntarily. In reality, in practice, many judges' decisions relating to women's rights are not carried out by ex-husbands. In addition, there is no mechanism that is able to ensure the payment of child and / or financial support by the defendant after divorce, ex-husbands are often absent from their obligations to pay for the rights of ex-wives and children after divorce. The results of this study indicate that: The position of guarantee for the rights of women and children after divorce is very weak, therefore the issue of living for wives who have been divorced by husbands and children still does not fully provide legal protection to wives. Judges' considerations in the decision of the Religious Court in the DKI Jakarta High Religious Court area in providing the rights of women and children in their development have attempted to provide protection in the form of charging fees as a result of divorce submitted by husbands to the Religious Court in the form of iddah, mut'ah, and livelihoods. children, common property
