Abstract

The schools of kalam basically arose due to the murder of Caliph Usman bin Affan which ended in the rejection of Mu'awiyah over the caliph Ali bin Abi Talib. The tension between the two continued into the war known as the Siffin war, and that was the beginning of the emergence of the science of kalam. The first stream was the Khawarij sect and was followed by Syi'ah who emerged as a faithful defender of the Caliph Ali bin Abi Talib and Murji'ah who came up with a reaction to the thoughts of the Khawarij. Focusing on the discussion, reason and revelation are always discussed endlessly even though these two streams are like water and oil which cannot be united with the intention that there is always conflict between the two in the aspects of thought and legal products produced by both. In the opinion of the Ashʿarite School of reason and revelation can not be separated but have their own work but the revelation is more important than the mind. The intellect can not define one obligation that can determine one obligation is a revelation. God has many properties such as ‘ilmu, basar, qudrat, hayat and other properties. And what must be known to those who are back and minded Muslims are twenty compulsory properties, twenty traits that are impossible and one must. In short, God has the character. Faith is instituted in the heart, pledged verbally, and accompanied by charity. While disbelievers are doubters in the presence of Allah, doubt on the Messenger, doubts about the Judgment, heaven and others. All the mere deeds of God do not create anything except God, but God has no law made all the way. The act of disbelief is indignant, though how the infidels want good deeds but he is still doing bad deeds. The act of Islam is good, but it is difficult, however, that a believer wants a divorce is not difficult, so a believer can not create it, in short all acts created by Allah Praise be unto Thee the Almighty.

Abstract

This research is about the networks of pesantren in Priangan from 1800 to 1945. The result shows that along 1800-1945, there were many networks that described the relations among pesantrens in Priangan. There are five networks forms as manifested from those relations. First, the networks among pesantrens, which were formed, are based on scientific relation. They are Pesantren Al-Falah Biru, Pangkalan and Keresek in Garut; Gentur, Kandang Sapi and Darul Falah Jambudipa in Cianjur; Sukamiskin Bandung; and Darul Ulum in Ciamis. Those pesantrens have intellectual relation that pointed to one public figure, namely Syekh Khatib Sambas in Mecca. Second, the networks among pesantrens, which were formed, are based on relative (genealogy) relations. The existence of Pesantren Sumur Kondang, Keresek, Gentur, and Cijawura were the ones that have this relation. Third, the networks among pesantrens, which were formed, are based onmarriage relation. For instance, Pesantren Cidewa with Pagerageung, Pesantren Cipari with Cilame, Cipasung with Gentur Rancapaku, Cijantung with Gegempalan, Sukamiskin with Al-Jawami, and Pesantren Sukamiskin with Cijawura Bandung, were the ones that have this relation. Fourth, the networks among pesantrens, which were formed, are based on the similarities in developing a particular Islamic mysticism (tarekat). The existence of Pesantren Suryalaya which develops Qodiriyah wa Naqsabandiyah mysticism—followed by generating their talqin and Pesantren Al-Falah Biru which develops Tijaniyah mysticism—followed by generating their muqaddam are the ones of this relation. Fifth, the networks among pesantrens, which were formed, are based on the same vision of their movement and struggle against the colonizer. The existence of Pesantren Al-Falah Biru with Samsul Ulum Gunung Puyuh through POII (Persatoean Oemat Islam Indonesia) organization, and Pesantren Cipasung with Sukamanah through Nahdhatul Ulama organization in Tasikmalaya were the ones who struggle against the colonizers of Netherland and Japan.

Abstract

Nowadays, Islamic pawning products have developed quite rapidly. In its operation, Islamic pawn products generally used the ijarah contract system. Ijarah agreement is a contract in the form of transferring the right to use goods and / or services through payment of rental wages, without being followed by the transfer of ownership of the goods themselves. In running a sharia pawn business, both Sharia Commercial Banks (BPRS), Sharia Rural Banks and also Islamic Pawnings were always guided by the fatwa of the National Sharia Board, which is a supervisory institution for Islamic and non-bank sharia financial institutions formed by the Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI).Therefore, this study aimed to describe and analyze the concept of ijarah and the aspects of ujrah in the realm of sharia pawnshop (rahn) especially in terms of how the benefits derived from a rahn product. The methodology used a qualitative approach (qualitative research), with a deductive style (deductive method). The results were in line with the fatwa of the National Sharia Council (DSN) no. 25 / DSN-MUI / III / 2002 which stated that the amount of storage service fees should not be determined based on the loan amount. The product organizers could only get benefit from the lease fees collected. This then constitutes the principles and values contained in the ijarah agreement and the ujrah aspects in the sharia pawnshop review (rahn).
