Abstract

Balinese paribasa is used to beautify and sweeten various Balinese discourses including Balinese short stories. In addition, Balinese paribasa is also used to reveal the values of education, morals, and social criticism in Balinese short stories that can be used as a guideline in life. Therefore, the researcher is interested in researching Balinese paribasa in the short story Begal by I D. K. Raka Kusuma. The theoretical foundations used in this study are Balinese paribasa theory, Balinese short stories, meaning theory and function theory. This research is a qualitative research, using library study and interview methods, supported by the technique of reading, recording, and listening. The data analysis of this study uses the descriptive method of analysis. The presentation of the data uses an informal method, namely presentation with words and sentences The results of this research show: (1) there are seven types of Balinese paribasa in the short story Begal by I D. K. Raka Kusuma, (2) there are four meanings and four functions of Balinese paribasa in the short story Begal by I D. K. Raka Kusuma, (3) there is a relevance of the short story Begal by I D. K. Raka Kusuma with the teaching of the Balinese language, especially Balinese paribasa in class X and class XI at the high school education level. Based on this conclusion, it is suggested that connoisseurs of Balinese short story literature can understand more deeply the action only to the type, meaning, and function but can be applied in daily life

Abstract

This study focuses on the ability to analyze the text of a speech on the theme of cultural tourism of class X students of SMK Negeri 4 Denpasar in the 2023/2024 academic year. The purpose of this study was to determine students' ability to analyze the text of a speech on the theme of cultural tourism in Balinese language learning at school. This type of research is descriptive. The methods used in this study are the research subject determination approach method, the research subject approach method, the data collection method, the test method, the observation method, the questionnaire method, the interview method, and the data processing method. The subjects of this study were class X students of SMK Negeri 4 Denpasar. The theory used is the theory of understanding analysis, types of analysis, understanding speech, types of speech, the structure of the speech text, and the theme of cultural tourism. The results of this study are the ability to analyze the text of a speech on the theme of cultural tourism of class X students of SMK Negeri 4 Denpasar in the 2023/2024 academic year is good. This is evident from the average score that has reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) of 88. It is known that out of 177 students studied, 104 students have met the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) with a percentage of 58.75% and 73 students have not met the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) with a percentage of 41.24%..

Abstract

This research aims to answer the problem (question), whether there is Bugis language interference in the fields of morphology and syntax in writing Indonesian essays for elementary school students in Balang Pesoang Village, Bulukumpa District, Bulukumba Regency. The population in this study were all fifth grade students at SD Negeri No. 62 Waepejje, Balang Pesoang Village, Bulukumpa District, Bulukumba Regency, totaling 25 people with details of 10 men and 15 women, and the sample was determined within these students or in total. The instrument of this research is an Indonesian language exposition essay whose theme has been determined by the researcher. The data collection method used is a method that is analyzed in descriptive form. The results of the research show that there is a representation of the Bugis language in the use of Indonesian by class V students at SD Negeri No. 62 Waepejje Balang Pesoang Village, Bulukumpa District, Bulukumba Regency. Of the 25 samples who used Indonesian in writing essays, there were 13 forms of interference at the morphological level, and 12 forms of interference at the syntactic level. The results of further research show that in general the factors that influence the occurrence of Bugis language interference are because students are more familiar with Bugis language compared to Indonesian, the community environment is less supportive, and psychological factors that are always experienced by students, such as feelings that are always emphasized. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that the interference of the Bugis language in the use of Indonesian by class V students at SD Negeri No. 62 Waepejje, Balang Pesoang Village, Bulukumpa District, Bulukumba Regency, the causal factor being the strong influence of the Bugis language on students and as the family language that is most mastered and liked by its users by students.

Abstract

Language plays a crucial role in human communication. Technological advancements, such as the Internet and cell phones, have revolutionized long-distance communication. The Internet on mobile phones has created unique communication forms, including online shopping on platforms like TikTok. This enables easy shopping from anywhere with internet access and payment via ATM. Interactions between buyers and sellers in online shopping involve various linguistic acts, facilitating transactions between strangers. This research explores (1) forms of speech acts in seller-buyer interactions on TikTok Live, (2) strategies of these speech acts, and (3) the functions of speech acts in these interactions. Using qualitative descriptive research, the study analyzes audio segments from conversations in women's equipment transactions on TikTok. Data collection was done through documentation, and analysis involved data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results show differences in speech act forms, strategies, and functions. Future research is suggested to delve deeper into these aspects, using this study as a reference for broader investigations.

Abstract

Landslide disasters can cause death and have a major impact on health systems and important services such as water, electricity or communication lines. The positive attitude shown by students is the initial milestone in changing attitudes to support student preparedness behavior. Through a landslide disaster management simulation, students' attitudes become positive and are able to apply self-evacuation techniques when a landslide occurs in accordance with the SOP for landslide disaster management. To determine the effect of providing a landslide disaster management simulation on students' attitudes at Selo Boyolali 1 State Elementary School. Research method: This type of research is pre-experimental design without control group with a one group pretest posttest design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, a sample of 29 students. Measuring student attitudes uses a student attitude questionnaire sheet consisting of 20 statement items using a Likert scale. Before the research was carried out the average results were 51.21% and after the research the average results were 67.45%, in other words Posttest > Pretest. Then the Wilcoxon test was carried out and the result was that P-Value = 0.001 (P<0.05) Ha was accepted. Abstract

The focus of this research is the low passing accuracy skills of students in futsal games. The purpose of this study was to determine "The Effect of Small Side Game Training on Passing Accuracy in futsal games". The research method used is the experimental method and this research instrument uses a passing accuracy test. The population in this study were SMPN 5 Cianjur futsal players totaling 40 people, using random sampling techniques and a sample of 20 people. Based on the results of data processing with statistical tests using the N-Gain score test, the Mean value is 0.6927 <0.7. Then it is included in the moderate category which means that the effectiveness of the increase is moderate. Then for the n-gain percent obtained the Mean value is 69.2738. So for this category it is between the 56-75 category which has a fairly effective interpretation in percentage form. Based on the results of these data, it is concluded that the effect of Small Side Game Training is quite effective on Futsal Passing Accuracy at SMPN 5 Cianjur Extracurricular.

Abstract

Preschool educational institutions from the lowest to the highest level must act as agents of developing children's empathy that should be emulated by other educational institutions, by having empathy children will understand that not all their desires through others can be fulfilled. With empathy children will be able to build relationships and be accepted by others. This study aims to describe the role of educators in building children's empathy through the role playing method in the Aisyiyah 01 playgroup in Semarang City and related to the internal and external challenges faced by educators in building children's empathy. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The implementation technique is to collect data through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses an interactive model of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study were obtained through the role of educators and strategies carried out in carrying out the role playing method to build children's empathy where educators play an important role in teaching and also provide supporting factors in the role playing method. Internal factors include the lack of available time allocation and also the support of teaching aids in developing the method, while external factors are that the learning curriculum is less flexible

Abstract

This flayer media will be used in teaching language error analysis to find out the errors contained in the flayer as a promotion that is still relied on today. Language error analysis is used by language teachers to collect samples of errors, identify the errors contained in the samples, explain the errors, classify the errors, and evaluate the level of seriousness of the errors. The aim of this research is to find out how to analyze language errors and what language should actually be used in media flayers during promotions. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. This research was carried out on seventh semester students of the PBSI UMN Al Washliyah Study Program. The population in this research was all 18 PBSI semester VII students. The sampling technique used in this research is a non-probability sampling technique. Media Flayer in language error analysis learning is considered effective for use in learning activities. Apart from being easy to access, media flayer also makes it easier for students to analyze language errors because just by using a mobile phone they can analyze language errors without having to go to the place they are going to. This research follow-up creates a comprehensive workflow from research results to real implementation and continuous improvement. This research has the potential to create positive and sustainable changes in various aspects of community life.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the common mistakes made by students in writing thesis proposals in the Education Program of Belief in God Almighty at Universitas 17 Agustus Semarang. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design, where data were collected through in-depth interviews, document analysis of thesis proposals, and direct observation. The findings revealed that students frequently struggle with formulating a clear research background, articulating specific research problems, and developing a comprehensive literature review. Additionally, challenges were found in data analysis and the validation of research results. The implications of this study suggest the need for more intensive and structured academic guidance to help students overcome these difficulties and improve the quality of their thesis proposals.

Abstract

This study aims to produce social studies teaching materials that can attract students' attention to the subject of Ethnic and Cultural Diversity using the storytelling method in class IV SDS IT Zahra Asy Syifa. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) development study using the ADDIE development procedure which consists of 5 stages. The instrument used to collect data was a validation questionnaire given to several expert validators, namely the material expert validator, teaching material expert validator and teacher response. The total score obtained from the validation of teaching materials was 97.6 with the criteria of "Very Eligible", from the validation of teaching materials experts, namely 96.8 with the criteria of "Very Eligible" and from the teacher's response a score of 98 was obtained with the criteria of "Very Eligible". From the results of the implementation, it is known that the score of student learning outcomes before using the developed teaching materials, namely 71.08 with the criteria of "Decent" and after using the teaching materials the score of student learning outcomes, which is equal to 82.17 with the criteria of "Very Eligible". From these results it can be said that Social Studies teaching material on Ethnic and Cultural Diversity uses the storytelling method which was developed "Very Feasible" for use in the learning process.
