Abstract

In the midst of increasingly tight business competition and the emergence of the Industry 5.0 era, human resource management plays a very crucial and valuable role. Human resources contribute greatly to building, strengthening, and changing organizational culture. In recent years, the concept of work-life balance has become a separate focus in studies related to work life (Greenhaus & Allen, 2010 in Helmle, Botero, & Seibold, 2014). This term is defined in various ways. One of them, according to ClarkThis study uses a quantitative approach. Creswell (2014) states that quantitative research aims to explain the influence of one variable on another. This study uses two types of data, namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data is collected directly through interview techniques and distributing questionnaires to respondents. Meanwhile, secondary data is obtained from library sources such as journalsDeveloping the quality of human resources is the main key for companies to remain competitive in the global market. Superior HR quality allows companies to face external challenges more preparedly and effectively, and increase their competitiveness. One of the biggest challenges faced by companies in maintaining competitive advantage is how to retain qualified and competent employees. Integrating policies that support work-life balance, proper ergonomics, and improving communication between managers and employees can create a healthier and more productive work environment. By designing policies that focus on employee well-being, companies can increase levels of engagement, job satisfaction, and overall performance. In addition, companies must ensure that the policies implemented are not only formal, but also implemented consistently to ensure the achievement of long-term goals.

Abstract

This qualitative study discusses the relationship between ergonomic application and psychological factors in relation to work productivity. In various industrial and organizational contexts, ergonomics has been shown to reduce physical and mental workload, ultimately improving employee comfort and performance. On the other hand, psychological factors such as work stress, job satisfaction, motivation, and social relationships significantly influence employees' perception of their productivity. By analyzing literature from 15 national and international journals, this study finds that ergonomic approaches integrated with attention to psychological aspects lead to positive impacts on productivity. The study suggests that organizations should not only focus on the physical aspects of job design but also the mental and emotional well-being of employees holistically.

Abstract

Law enforcement is a concrete manifestation of a state based on the rule of law. Law can only be beneficial when it is enforced, and law enforcement is carried out by law enforcers. Because law enforcers are part of society, they must be able to cooperate with the law. For the public to assess good law enforcement, legal regulations are needed to provide systematic guidance. This research uses a normative juridical research method to collect data related to this research. This research took place within the jurisdiction of the North Sumatra Regional Police, dealing with the handling of land mafia acts. Land mafia are individuals or groups who violate land laws by exploiting loopholes to violate land ownership, whether SHM, HGB, HGU, or Sub-district Head's Decree. In practice, they involve the government, including village heads, notaries, and the National Land Agency (BPN). Legal smuggling involves various legal acts, including falsifying data and mechanisms that violate the law, based on false rights. The techniques they employ obscure the origin and process of issuing SHMs on land owned by the actual owner, who already has official land rights. Efforts to eradicate land mafias, carried out by law enforcement officials, are still weak and detrimental to the vulnerable, especially those in need. They often exploit the weaknesses of government officials, notaries, and ultimately the National Land Agency (BPN), which is trapped by the mafia's submitted documents. The eradication of land mafias must be carried out systematically, with the threat of strict penalties and clear enforcement of penalties for officials who collaborate in weakening the law and even evading the law, carried out in a clear and transparent manner

Abstract

Education is a constitutional right guaranteed by the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. Article 31 paragraph (4) mandates the state to allocate at least 20% of the national and regional budgets (APBN and APBD) for the education sector. This study aims to analyze the implementation of this policy in both national and local budgeting practices, and to identify factors affecting the compliance of central and local governments with the constitutional mandate. Using a qualitative approach and descriptive-analytical method, data were obtained through literature review, policy documentation, and case studies in selected provinces. The results indicate that although the central government is relatively consistent in allocating the 20%, issues remain regarding the effectiveness of budget utilization. At the regional level, compliance varies significantly, influenced by fiscal capacity, political commitment, as well as institutional and supervisory constraints. This study recommends strengthening regulations, enhancing public oversight, and providing incentives for local governments to ensure the equitable and just realization of the right to education.
