Abstract

This study investigates how digital transformation and organizational agility influence sustainable business performance in Indonesian Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), emphasizing the mediating role of legality. Drawing on dynamic capabilities theory, the research explores how digital technologies and agile practices contribute to resilience and long-term competitiveness. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 453 SMEs across Yogyakarta through structured questionnaires administered in hybrid offline-online sessions. Thematic analysis via NVivo revealed a conceptual framework positioning agility as a critical mediator between digital adoption and business sustainability. The findings highlight that SMEs leveraging digital tools demonstrate greater responsiveness, operational flexibility, and innovation capacity. Notably, legal compliance emerged as a foundational enabler: legally registered SMEs were more effective in adopting digital strategies, accessing institutional support, and navigating regulatory environments. This underscore the role of legality not only as a contextual factor but as a strategic asset enhancing digital and agile capabilities. The study contributes to entrepreneurial strategy literature by integrating digital transformation, agility, and legality into a cohesive model for sustainable SME performance. Practical implications suggest that SMEs should prioritize digital investment alongside legal formalization to maximize their strategic agility and long-term success in volatile markets.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and technological development, Islamic education faces major challenges in maintaining Islamic values while adapting to modern managerial strategies. This study aims to analyze the concept of Islamic leadership based on the principles of justice, exemplary, trustworthy, and deliberation, and to compare it with innovative leadership models in modern management. The method used is qualitative research with a literature study approach (library research). Data were obtained from various academic sources, including interpretations of the Qur'an, hadith, and Islamic and modern leadership theories. Content analysis techniques were applied to interpret the meaning of leadership based on Islamic moral principles and their relevance in organizational management. The results of the study indicate that leadership in Islam emphasizes moral and spiritual values, which play an important role in building organizational integrity, trust, and effectiveness. The principle of justice (al-adl) contributes to transparent and ethical decision-making, while exemplary (uswatun hasanah) is key to building a positive work culture. Trustworthy in leadership encourages accountability and responsibility, while deliberation strengthens collective participation in decision-making. Compared to the transformational and innovative leadership models in modern management, Islamic leadership has advantages in the integration of spiritual values with sustainability-oriented leadership practices.

Abstract

This study examines the practice of science integration in Islamic education at State Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKIN) and Private Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKIS) in Indonesia. The purpose of the study was to compare models of science integration and analyze the structural challenges faced by both institutions. The research method used a qualitative approach with multiple case studies at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (PTKIN) and UNISMA Malang (PTKIS). The results show that PTKIN adopts a transdisciplinary model based on real projects (for example, the integration of environmental science with Islamic values), while PTKIS tends to use an embedded curriculum due to limited resources. The disparity in budget and qualifications of PTKIN and PTKIS lecturers is a major obstacle. However, collaboration through digital platforms (such as Moodle) and blended learning training has the potential to reduce the gap. This study recommends affirmative policies, strengthening lecturer capacity, and technology consortiums to support holistic science integration, in accordance with the global trend of Islamization of Knowledge.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the strategy for developing personal brands in the retail sector in Jakarta in 2025, implemented amidst a global economic recession that impacts consumer behavior and market dynamics. Adopting a mixed methods approach, the study analyzes quantitative data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and consumer survey results, combining these with qualitative analysis from case studies and related literature. The results indicate that successful personal brand development depends on the ability to authentically integrate digital adaptations and transparently implement sustainability values. The use of social media, live shopping, and collaboration with micro-influencers significantly contribute to building emotional connections and increasing consumer engagement. Meanwhile, sustainability practices and supply chain transparency are becoming competitive advantages that attract increasingly socially and environmentally conscious consumers. An emphasis on value-based marketing, which emphasizes product quality and social impact, has been shown to increase customer loyalty and drive adaptive and sustainable business growth in challenging economic conditions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality on customer satisfaction at Cafe Maze Bandung. The research employs a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 100 customers. The independent variable (X), service quality, is measured using five SERVQUAL dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The dependent variable (Y), customer satisfaction, is assessed through seven indicators: product quality, price, service, emotional factors, convenience, repurchase intention, and recommendation. The results of a simple linear regression analysis show that service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.950, indicating that 95% of the variation in customer satisfaction is explained by service quality. The correlation coefficient is 0.975, reflecting a very strong relationship between the two variables. These findings highlight that improvements in service quality directly enhance customer satisfaction. Therefore, it is recommended that Cafe Maze Bandung management focus on improving responsiveness and reliability aspects, which still have room for development.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a web-based tuition payment system at SDIT Fidarussalam, Cikarang Selatan. The research was motivated by the manual payment recording process that often caused errors, duplication, and potential data loss. To address these issues, the study applied the waterfall development model, which includes stages of requirement analysis, system design, coding, testing, and maintenance. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and literature study. The system was developed using PHP and MySQL, while UML diagrams were employed as design tools. The results show that the system enables efficient, accurate, and structured data management. Key features include student data entry, payment processing, receipt generation, and reporting. Black-box testing confirmed that all functional requirements were successfully met, and the system operated as expected. The implementation of the web-based tuition payment system significantly improves administrative efficiency and accuracy compared to the previous manual method. It reduces human error, prevents data duplication, and minimizes the risk of data loss. Moreover, it streamlines payment processes and facilitates better record management. In conclusion, this research demonstrates that adopting a web-based application can enhance school administration by integrating technology into financial management. The system provides a reliable solution for managing tuition payments while ensuring data security and supporting decision-making through comprehensive reporting features.

Abstract

In an increasingly competitive business world, leadership strategies to improve performance depend heavily on the quality of human resources. Diversity in the workplace is an unavoidable reality in the era of globalization, where technological advances and labor mobility have opened up opportunities for interaction between individuals from various cultural backgrounds, religions, ages, and life experiences. When diversity is not managed properly, it can cause misunderstandings, conflicts, and even discrimination, which hinder productivity and lower employee morale. The purpose of this study is to analyze in depth the application of adaptive leadership strategies in managing employee diversity to improve organizational productivity. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature review methods. The results of the study show that adaptive leadership plays an important role in creating an inclusive, collaborative, and harmonious work environment, through open communication, flexibility in approach, and employee empowerment. These findings imply that organizations aiming to boost performance in a diverse workforce environment should prioritize leadership development programs that embrace adaptability and cultural intelligence. Therefore, it can be concluded that adaptive leadership is an effective strategy in dealing with the complexity of diversity in the modern workplace, but it is also a strategic key in increasing competitiveness and ensuring long-term sustainability.
