Abstract

The development of investment in the digital era has driven increasing public interest in participating in investment activities, but the level of financial education and the quality of information received remain major challenges. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial education and social media financial information on investment interest in the Bekasi community. This study used a quantitative approach with a causal design and was analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to Bekasi residents who met the research criteria. The analysis results showed that all constructs met the validity and reliability criteria. Structurally, financial education has a positive and significant effect on investment interest, and social media financial information also has a positive and significant effect on investment interest. These findings indicate that improving financial education and providing quality financial information through social media play a significant role in encouraging public investment interest. This research is expected to serve as a reference for regulators and stakeholders in designing more effective financial education strategies and disseminating investment information in the digital era.

Abstract

This study examines the nonlinear associative relationship between geopolitical shocks and Islamic financial stability in Indonesia, incorporating the moderating roles of SBIS and FASBIS. Using monthly data from January 2015 to December 2024 and a threshold regression approach, the analysis reveals a state-dependent relationship between geopolitical risk and financial stability. A threshold effect is identified at a GPR value of 85.2 (95% confidence interval: 82.1–88.5). Below this level, the association is not statistically significant, whereas above it becomes significantly negative, indicating that the impact of geopolitical shocks materializes only beyond a critical intensity. SBIS exhibits conditional moderation, functioning as a stabilizing instrument at low GPR levels (threshold = 84.7) but becoming statistically insignificant under high geopolitical pressure. FASBIS shows a similar conditional pattern with a higher threshold (89.3), acting as a stabilizer at low GPR while losing effectiveness at higher levels without becoming counterproductive. The higher threshold associated with FASBIS provides descriptive evidence of greater resilience under elevated risk, although this comparison is not inferential. These findings provide robust evidence that the effectiveness of Islamic monetary instruments is inherently state-dependent, implying that linear models may obscure regime-specific dynamics. Policy implications include integrating geopolitical risk into early warning systems and strengthening liquidity facilities during periods of heightened uncertainty.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze downtime and maintenance systems in the Reverse Osmosis (RO) unit of a beverage manufacturing company. The research used a descriptive quantitative approach through direct observation, maintenance documentation, technician reports, and interviews with operators. The results showed that the RO unit experienced 31 hours of downtime during 720 hours of operation, with membrane fouling, clogged pre-treatment filters, high-pressure pump failure, and unstable water pressure identified as the main causes. The Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) was 2.58 hours, while the Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) was 60 hours, with a machine availability rate of 95.69%. These findings indicate that although the RO unit is relatively reliable, the maintenance system still requires improvement, particularly in preventive maintenance scheduling and real-time monitoring. The implementation of PLC-based automation, PID control, and IoT-based monitoring is recommended to reduce downtime, improve operational efficiency, and maintain consistent water quality.

Abstract

The high Defects per Unit (DPU) in the NANO model, mainly caused by handlebar effort problems, indicates process variation in the steering system that affects product quality. This study aims to evaluate the stability and capability of the steering system production process and identify process parameters that contribute to handlebar effort through the integration of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Data were collected from measurements of steering system component dimensions and assembly process parameters on the production line. The analysis used X̄-R control charts, process capability indices, and a machine learning-based AI approach to detect abnormal patterns among process variables. The results show that the process is generally close to statistical control, but special cause variations are still found. Process capability analysis indicates that the process has not consistently met specifications, as shown by Cp = 0.87 and Cpk = 0.74. The main parameters affecting process performance are steering stem height 1 and head pipe height, both of which show high variation and low process capability. AI analysis also identified abnormal multivariate patterns related to these parameters. Therefore, improvements should focus on standardizing work procedures, calibrating measuring instruments, controlling materials, maintaining jig fixtures, and improving operator competence. The integration of SPC and AI supports more predictive quality control and helps reduce defects in the steering system production process.

Abstract

This study aims to improve manhour productivity in the packing process of an Indonesian automotive component company by applying the ECRS method (Eliminate, Combine, Rearrange, Simplify). The problem was identified from low labor productivity caused by non-value-added activities, inefficient work layout, non-ergonomic material placement, and the absence of proper work aids. A quantitative approach was used through direct observation, time study, motion analysis, fishbone diagram, and operation process chart to identify waste and determine improvement actions. The implementation of ECRS reduced the cycle time from 60 seconds to 46 seconds per unit, representing a 23.3% improvement, and increased output from 60 units/hour to 78 units/hour, equivalent to a 30% productivity increase. In addition, the improvement eliminated unnecessary movements, simplified work procedures, and enhanced ergonomic conditions for operators. The findings indicate that the ECRS approach provides a practical contribution to improving efficiency in manual packing processes without adding labor or major production equipment. Therefore, this method can be used as an effective and low-cost improvement strategy for productivity enhancement in manufacturing operations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the meaning of mental health messages in the lyrics of BTS’s song “Zero O’Clock” using Ferdinand de Saussure’s semiotic theory. This research applies a descriptive qualitative method with a constructivist paradigm. The data were collected through lyric observation, interviews, and literature studies, then analyzed by identifying signifier and signified elements in selected lyric fragments. The results show that “Zero O’Clock” represents mental health messages related to emotional pressure, self-reflection, hope, and the opportunity to start over. The phrase “Zero O’Clock” symbolizes a new beginning, while lyrics such as “And you’re gonna be happy” reflect optimism and emotional recovery. Therefore, this song can be understood as a form of popular music that communicates messages of self-acceptance, resilience, and mental health awareness to its listeners.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Net Profit Margin (NPM) on the share price of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk during the 2019–2023 period. The study employed a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the official websites of the Indonesia Stock Exchange and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. A total of 20 observations were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The analysis included classical assumption tests consisting of normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation tests, followed by partial t-tests, a simultaneous F-test, and the coefficient of determination. The results indicate that ROA has a significant negative effect on the company’s share price, whereas ROE and NPM have significant positive effects. Simultaneously, ROA, ROE, and NPM have a significant effect on the share price of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. The adjusted R-squared value of 0.907 indicates that the three financial ratios explain 90.7% of the variation in share price, while the remaining 9.3% is explained by other variables not included in this study. These findings demonstrate that profitability ratios play an important role in explaining changes in the company’s share price.
