Abstract

This research aims to develop GeoQuest, an interactive learning media integrated with Artificial Intelligence (AI), to enhance the understanding of trigonometry concepts among Grade XI students at SMAN 1 Percut Sei Tuan. The development follows the Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The product integrates AI-based features such as adaptive practice questions, automated feedback, and dynamic visualizations of trigonometric graphs. Data were collected through expert validation, student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The results show that the media meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Material experts and media experts rated GeoQuest as "very valid," while students responded positively to its ease of use and engaging interface. Learning outcome tests indicate a significant improvement in students’ understanding of trigonometry after using the AI-based GeoQuest media. Thus, GeoQuest is proven to be a reliable and effective digital learning tool to support trigonometry learning.

Abstract

Poetry is known as a form of written art that is rich in meaning and symbolism. One collection of poems that is interesting to study in terms of meaning is the collection of poems by Wita Nfa entitled “Metamorphosis.” This analysis uses three poems, namely Bertandang, Fall, and Rona. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with several in-depth explorations, notes, and grouping of meaning elements. This study focuses on the type of meaning of each word, whether it is lexical or grammatical, and will also analyze the meaning of each word. The results of this study produced 65 words, including lexical and 46 grammatical words. This study also reveals the implied meanings that the author attempts to convey because Wita Nfa's poetry has a unique and implied style of language. Therefore, this study was conducted to gain a deeper understanding of the messages that the poet wants to convey and to explain how language and symbols in poetry can influence the feelings and thoughts of readers. We hope that the results of this study will help readers better understand the meaning in poetic literary works.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the collaborative role and challenges faced by Special Assistant Teachers (GPK) or shadow teachers in supporting the learning of students with Special Needs (ABK) at SMPN 7 Salatiga. The method used in this study is a literature study, by reviewing various literature on inclusive education, the role of GPK, exploratory learning, and collaboration between teachers and parents. The results of the study indicate that GPK has an important role in academic assistance, behavioral management, social-emotional facilitation, and bridging communication between teachers, students, and parents. However, the implementation of inclusive education still faces several obstacles, such as limited facilities and infrastructure, low understanding and support from parents, lack of training for teachers, and variations in student abilities that require differentiated learning. This study emphasizes the importance of strengthening collaboration between stakeholders, optimizing facilities, and improving teacher competency so that inclusive education can run more effectively and support the development of students with Special Needs.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the need for modern education to develop students' creative thinking skills, which are still hampered by the dominance of conventional teacher-centred learning methods. The Group Investigation (GI) cooperative learning model is seen as a strategy that can encourage active participation, collaboration, and independent investigation among students. This study aims to describe the GI concept, its elements and principles, implementation steps, as well as its strengths and weaknesses in the context of learning. The research method used is a literature study through theoretical analysis and GI implementation experiences as described in the paper. The results of the study show that GI increases learning activities, critical and creative thinking skills, and students' social skills through heterogeneous group work and a structured investigation process. However, this model requires more time and teacher readiness in managing the class. The implications of this study confirm that GI is relevant to the Merdeka Curriculum and can be an effective alternative for collaboration- and project-based learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of environmental education in shaping responsible consumption patterns among university students. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with several students from different faculties who were involved in environmental-based activities such as green campus programs and environmental education courses. The results show that environmental education plays a significant role in increasing environmental awareness and encouraging behavioral change toward sustainable consumption. Students who participated in environmental learning activities demonstrated greater awareness in reducing single-use plastic, conserving energy, and choosing eco-friendly products. However, some respondents argued that the impact of environmental education is limited when it remains theoretical and lacks practical implementation. The findings emphasize that the effectiveness of environmental education depends on the integration of theory, practice, and supportive campus culture. Therefore, universities should strengthen environmental education through experiential learning, environmental campaigns, and sustainable campus facilities to foster students’ environmental responsibility and long-term sustainable behavior.

Abstract

In essence, technology has become an inseparable part of Generation Alpha’s life. However, the improper use of technology can affect their overall development. The technology available today has a significant influence on the progress of a nation; therefore, the roles of parents and educators are crucial in encouraging, controlling, and supervising children to prevent technology addiction. When used appropriately, technology can broaden knowledge through the internet and digital devices, enhance creativity in developing skills, and facilitate the learning process. Nevertheless, modern technology can also bring negative impacts, such as dependency, excessive screen time, and reduced social interaction, as children tend to spend more time in front of screens rather than engaging with their surroundings. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of technology on Generation Alpha from an Islamic perspective and to explore ways to implement this understanding.(Ari Fajar Isbakhi et al., 2025, p. 287) The research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach. Generation Alpha is a generation that grows up amid rapid, interactive, and dynamic digital technological advancements. This condition presents both opportunities and challenges for the world of education, particularly in shaping students’ character within the school environment. This study aims to analyze the strategies, challenges, and roles of schools in developing the character of Generation Alpha to become intelligent, ethical, and empathetic individuals. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach through a literature study method. The findings indicate that character education in schools needs to be designed contextually, collaboratively, and technology-based to foster an adaptive Generation Alpha while maintaining strong moral and social values.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of the practice of writing text procedures based on the creation of texted videos carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Jeruklegi. The background of this research is the low writing skills of students' procedural texts and the need for technology-based contextual learning innovations. This research method is qualitative descriptive with the subject of grade IX students. Data collection was carried out through observation of learning, interviews with students, and analysis of written documents and videos of the procedural texts made. The instruments in the study used observation sheets, interview guidelines, and product assessment rubrics. Data analysis is carried out through several stages such as reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the implementation of writing practices based on the creation of texted videos is able to increase creativity, student cooperation, and systematic ability in writing. The challenges faced include facilities and infrastructure as well as video production time. Another result obtained is that text-based video writing learning is effective in improving students' digital literacy skills. Teachers play an important role in being facilitators as well as directing in the process of writing to making videos.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought changes to the learning process in schools, so that the use of digital media has become one of the efforts to increase students' interest in learning. This study aims to determine the effect of digital media on students' interest in learning at Budisatrya Private High School. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research subjects were 10th grade students at Budisatrya Private High School with a total of 32 respondents. The research instrument was a Likert scale questionnaire consisting of 9 statements for the digital media variable and 7 statements for the student learning interest variable. Data analysis techniques included validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, and simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that all statement items were valid and reliable. Normality testing showed that the data was normally distributed. The regression analysis results showed a significance value of 0.003, which is less than 0.05, so it can be concluded that digital media has a significant effect on student learning interest at Budisatrya Private High School. This study is expected to be a consideration for teachers and schools in optimizing the use of digital media in the learning process.
