Abstract

This study aims to identify the application of window shopping learning model in increasing students' interest in learning at SMAN 1 Pujut. Based on the results of interviews with one of the physics teachers, it turns out that at SMAN 1 Pujut the interest in learning physics is still low. So that efforts are needed to increase students' interest in learning by applying the window shopping learning model. This model is one type of cooperative learning model that is a learning model that forms students into small groups and prioritizes the activeness of each individual in the group.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze cognitive abilities and physics learning outcomes at Al-Falah Islamic High School in Jambi City. The method used is quantitative method. The type of research used is This type of research is field research, namely research conducted by going directly to the field to examine cognitive abilities and comparison of learning outcomes. The subjects and samples in this study were students of class XI IPA 2 at Al Falah Islamic High School, Jambi City, totaling 30 students. The research instrument used in this study was a test question with 50 questions. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling technique. The data analysis used in this study was miles and huberman with research procedures, namely analyzing literature, determining instruments, collecting data, analyzing data, and concluding the results of research data. The results of this study indicate that cognitive abilities at Al-Falah Islamic High School in Jambi City on newton's law material still need to be improved. The results of the independent sample T test analysis show that sig. (2-tailed) 0.530> 0.05. This means that there is no significant difference between learning outcomes in male and female students. This is because cognitive abilities play an important role in helping students to know learning knowledge and physics learning outcomes on newton's law material.

Abstract

Pendidikan itu penting dalam kehidupan nyata. Pendidikan sendiri dapat dikatakan sebagai kunci keberhasilan siswa, siswa lebih banyak mendapatkan pendidikan dalam hubungannya dengan dunia luar dan menjadi pemimpin dalam mengembangkan sumber daya dan mengubah perilaku setiap orang. Pembelajaran IPA sebagai bagian dari sistem pendidikan menggunakan pendekatan ilmiah dan berbasis konteks agar pengetahuan yang dipelajari lebih bermakna. Fisika dianggap sebagai mata pelajaran yang penting untuk diajarkan karena fisika merupakan alat untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir yang berguna untuk memecahkan masalah sehari-hari dan membekali siswa dengan pengetahuan, pemahaman dan berbagai keterampilan. Jurusan Fisika membekali mahasiswa dengan pemahaman konsep fenomena alam dan alat-alat yang meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir dan pemecahan masalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Untuk melihat sejauh mana motivasi belajar dapat dilihat dengan indikator pembelajaran aktif yang salah satunya adalah keinginan siswa untuk berpartisipasi dalam memecahkan masalah kegiatan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan variabel afektif belajar dengan motivasi belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam karya ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket atau angket dan observasi. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 35 siswa. Seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 10 Kota Jambi Tahap XI F1 yang mengikuti penelitian ini. Setelah dilakukan analisis data diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi, nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 1,00 berdasarkan hasil uji Anova. Kecuali untuk uji korelasi, nilai koefisiennya adalah sig 0,005 juga digunakan untuk menunjukkan apakah korelasi ditolak atau tidak. Oleh karena itu terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pembelajaran afektif dengan motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI F1 tahap SMA Negeri 10 Kota Jambi. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian ini untuk menggali lebih dalam hubungan antara pembelajaran afektif dengan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

The development of science, technology and information can be seen very quickly as time goes by, so that it has an impact on the behavior of many students which is not in accordance with a religious character. One form of solution is to implement a congregational prayer program in educational institutions. This research aims to determine the importance of Islamic education, students' implementation of Islamic education through the congregational prayer program, factors inhibiting the implementation of congregational prayers. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach which was carried out at SMP Negeri 2 Jetis Ponorogo. This research analysis has three stages, namely sorting data that has been obtained from the field, collecting data and drawing conclusions. The results of the research are (1) Islamic education is very important for students as a provision for quality life now and in the future, (2) Implementation of the congregational prayer program consists of dhuha prayers, midday prayers and asr prayers. The congregational prayer program is also participated in by all school stakeholders so that they are able to provide a positive example or uswatun khasanah for students. (3) Factors inhibiting the implementation of congregational prayers include lack of self-awareness of students, the influence of bad character from friends, lack of affirmation from parents.

Abstract

Elementary school is a level of education that can shape students' personalities and develop the potential embedded within themselves. Apart from delivering academic material, there is also a need for other school programs to support student growth and development, one of which is extracurricular activities. Extracurricular activities are an integral part of school life that can provide various benefits for students. knowledgeable and character. To achieve optimal educational goals, there needs to be supporting factors from various parties, one of which is the role of teachers in schools to develop creativity, interests and talents. This research uses a literature study method by looking for theoretical references and written summaries such as from books, journals or e-books by organizing or integrating them into the necessary topics. Participating in extracurricular activities is one way for students to explore their interests and talents. Students' potential and abilities can be seen by participating in these activities. By knowing one's talents, interests and potential, it will be easier for a person to determine steps in achieving more focused life goals.

Abstract

The history of Islamic education in Java not only reflects changes in religious teaching approaches and methods, but also is a mirror of broader changes in Javanese society. Islam first entered Java in the 14th century, precisely in 1399 AD. Islam was introduced by Maulana Malik Ibrahim, an Arab who once lived in Gujarat, India with his nephew named Mahdum Ishaq. He and his nephew were in Gresik, East Java to start spreading Islamic education. Walisongo is reviewed from the personality classified as a lover of Allah when viewed in terms of the strategy of his duties and functions in the Demak kingdom he is the ruler of the government, that's why he obtained the title Walisongo was given the title of "Sunan" which has the meaning of "respected" because in spreading Islam the guardians always provide solutions to the problems that exist in people's lives through friendly practice and teaching. The Guardians have their respective karomah and uniqueness in the view of the community. Walisongo who has a very broad knowledge and understanding of religion so that the spread of religion in Java is very easy. In addition, the combination or synergy between ulama and Umara makes the spread of Islam in Java wider even outside Java, namely the eastern part of Indonesia and Kalimantan whose influence is wider until now.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effect of implementing the demonstration learning method on improving student learning outcomes in Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) learning in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Yogyakarta. The demonstration learning method was chosen because it was considered to provide direct experience to students, increase understanding of concepts, and improve their practical skills in applying Civics values in everyday life. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach through a single group control pre-test post-test design. The sample for this research was class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Yogyakarta who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group who received learning using the demonstration method and the control group who received conventional learning. The research results show that the application of the demonstration learning method significantly improves student learning outcomes in Civics subjects. Data analysis showed that the average post-test score of the experimental group was significantly higher than the average post-test score of the control group. This indicates that the demonstration learning method is effective in increasing students' understanding of Civics material. The findings of this research provide important implications for educational practitioners to consider using demonstration learning methods in improving student learning outcomes, especially in Civics learning. Apart from that, this research also contributes to the development of learning theories and practices that are oriented towards student learning outcomes at the junior high school level.

Abstract

In the field of education, which is constantly changing to innovate, implementing various methods in learning is important to strengthen students' understanding and creativity. Through integrated learning, students can gain direct experience, which enhances their ability to receive, retain, and apply learned concepts. This approach not only fosters a deeper comprehension of academic subjects but also encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, integrated learning helps students make meaningful connections between different disciplines, promoting a more holistic educational experience. This research is qualitative in nature, using a literature study approach, with books and literature as the main sources. By analyzing existing studies and theoretical frameworks, this research aims to identify effective strategies for integrating different subjects and activities in the classroom. This study is expected to contribute to the implementation of integrated learning to enhance creativity in elementary school students. Ultimately, the findings of this research could provide valuable insights for educators and policymakers, guiding them in developing curricula that better support student creativity and lifelong learning skills

Abstract

This article discusses the use of rewards and punishments in managing classrooms in elementary schools, which are common strategies for teachers to manage student behavior and create a conducive learning environment. Rewards are given as a form of appreciation for students' positive behavior, while punishment is used to reduce negative behavior. Based on literature studies, the use of rewards can increase learning motivation and strengthen positive behavior, while punishment can reduce deviant behavior and increase discipline in the classroom. However, teachers must use rewards and punishment proportionally and fairly so as not to have a negative effect on students. This article also discusses effective strategies for implementing rewards and punishment, as well as the importance of consistency in managing the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an effective preparation strategy model for competency tests in Heavy Equipment Engineering at vocational high schools. Recognizing the pivotal role of vocational education in equipping students with industry-relevant skills, the research addresses the challenges students face in preparing for competency assessments. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the study integrates quantitative data from surveys and pre/post-tests with qualitative insights from interviews and focus groups. The proposed model encompasses curriculum alignment, innovative teaching methodologies, and effective study techniques, incorporating best practices identified through an extensive literature review. Pilot testing in selected schools provided critical feedback, allowing for refinements to ensure the model's applicability and effectiveness. The evaluation of the model's impact revealed significant improvements in students' test scores and self-reported preparedness, demonstrating the model's potential to enhance competency levels. Comparative analysis highlighted the model's superiority over traditional preparation methods, while qualitative feedback underscored its strengths and areas for further enhancement. The findings contribute to the field of vocational education by offering a structured preparation strategy that can be adopted by schools and policymakers to improve student outcomes. The study's implications extend to educational authorities, providing a framework for policy formulation and implementation. Future research directions include refining the model and exploring its applicability across different vocational disciplines.
