The purpose of this study was to examine how the flavor and popularity of Ayam Taliwang Bersaudara Restaurant contribute to Lombok's culinary identity, as well as the adaptation strategies used to remain authentic and relevant in the market. Qualitative descriptive data collection methods used observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews. A qualitative SWOT analysis was used to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats affecting the restaurant's sustainability. The use of Lombok raw materials and traditional cooking methods maintains the authentic flavor, according to the study. The level of spiciness and effective word-of-mouth approach are tailored to the market. The balance between contextual innovation and cultural preservation is crucial for the restaurant's success. Abstract

This study aims to examine how managers play a role in developing and enhancing tourist attractions in Talaga Bodas, Garut Regency, West Java. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through direct field observations, in-depth interviews, and document collection from managers, local residents, and tourists. The main finding is that the management role is still largely held by the Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA), while village governments and local communities are less involved. Currently, management focuses more on preserving and maintaining the area, but has not yet fully encompassed the development of tourist attractions, facility improvements, or integrated digital promotion. However, Talaga Bodas's extraordinary natural potential, community support, and tourist interest in nature and educational tourism offer significant opportunities for the development of this destination. Active involvement from managers is needed to build collaboration between the BKSDA, local government, and the community to create a sustainable destination management system. Strategic steps such as improving infrastructure, training human resources, and strengthening environmentally friendly digital promotion are crucial to attracting more tourists. This study demonstrates that the task of destination managers is not only to preserve nature but also to achieve a balance between economic, social, and ecological aspects. With collaborative management and a focus on community empowerment, Talaga Bodas has great potential to become a sustainable nature tourism destination, providing real benefits to local residents while enhancing the region's tourism reputation.

Abstract

Background. Tanjungjaya Village has high tourism potential in Pandeglang Regency. Still, its community welfare remains relatively low, characterized by high unemployment rates, limited MSME involvement in the tourism sector, and fluctuating incomes. Aims. This study aims to formulate a strategy for improving community welfare in Tanjungjaya Tourism Village through an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. This approach emphasizes community development based on local assets, including physical, human, social, economic, and environmental assets. Methods. This study used a qualitative case study method with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. Result. The results indicate that the majority of residents work in the informal sector, such as fishermen, traders, or daily coastal workers, but have not yet received significant economic benefits from tourism activities. Through asset mapping and increasing community literacy, the ABCD strategy can help the community recognize, manage, and develop its potential independently. Conclusion. This study concludes that community empowerment through the ABCD approach can be a strategic alternative for promoting inclusive and sustainable village-level tourism management and improving equitable community welfare. Implementation. The proposed plan includes improving tourism literacy, empowering local MSMEs, establishing community-based tourism institutions, and participatory evaluation.

Abstract

Background. Sustainable tourism development is an essential strategy in improving people's welfare while preserving the environment. ProKlim Village RW 08 Merbabu Asih, Cirebon City, is one of the community-based areas with great potential to be developed into an educational ecotourism destination. However, the increase in tourist visits has not been offset by the availability of structured and sustainable tour packages. Aims. This research aims to develop a green economy-based ecotourism package that is integrated with the local environmental, social, and economic potential in ProKlim Merbabu Asih Village. Method. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through field observations, in-depth interviews, and literature reviews. The research informants were selected using purposive and snowball sampling techniques, involving ProKlim village managers, local communities, the government, and academics. Conclusion. The results of the study show that the development of ecotourism packages is carried out through the stages of market research, destination determination, contract making, cost calculation, brochure preparation, and determination of tourism travel flows that refer to green economy indicators, namely emission and pollution reduction, environmentally friendly job creation, financial and ecological sustainability, and biodiversity conservation. This research produces several alternative tour packages, including daily, overnight, and incentive packages for domestic and international markets. Implications. The development of this green economy-based ecotourism package is expected to increase the economic value of the local community, strengthen the identity of ProKlim village as an environmental education tourism destination, and support sustainable tourism development in Cirebon City.

Abstract

Background. The mangrove ecosystem in Legon plays a vital role in maintaining the balance of the coastal ecosystem while preserving economic potential through the development of ecotourism and products based on local resources. However, challenges in the form of environmental degradation and low community participation are the main obstacles in the utilization of this potential. Purpose. Increase awareness, capacity, and the active role of local communities in mangrove conservation through a community-based conservation (CBC) approach. The methods used include area mapping, environmental socialization and education, technical training on conservation and processing of mangrove-based products, coastal clean-up and replanting actions, and the formation of local driving communities. Result. The results of the activity included increased community participation, the formation of the "Legon Mangrove Friends Community" as a sustainable conservation partner, the preparation of technical training modules, and the development of several strategic recommendations. Conclusion. These recommendations include zoning-based management (rehabilitation, education/ecotourism, and core protection), periodic evaluations, the development of pilot products as regional icons, and the integration of green economic value chains to strengthen conservation behaviors. Analysis of 4A (Attraction, Accessibility, Amenities, and Ancillary Services) shows that the Legon mangrove area offers conservation-based ecotourism attractions, although there is still a need for improved accessibility, more facilities, and newly formed institutions. Implementation. These results affirm the importance of collaboration among the community, government, and academia in achieving sustainable mangrove management, while opening opportunities to improve the welfare of coastal communities.
