Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan kesadaran persepsi visual terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak tunagrahita ringan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan rancangan Nonrandomized Posttest Control Group Design. Sedangkan analisis data dilakukan melalui statistic nonparametrik berupa uji U (Mann Whitney). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil U tes yaitu U = 10 dengan nilai ɳ1 = 7 dan ɳ2 = 7, sedangkan P = 0,036. Karena P = 0,036 a = 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Hi yang diajukan diterima. Kesimpulannya bahwa latihan kesadaran persepsi visual pada anak tunagrahita ringan secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan.Kata kunci: kesadaran visual, tunagrahita ringan, membaca permulaan

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui apakah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks biografi siswa kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Muhmaadiyah 2 Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes, teknik wawancara, teknik observasi dan teknik angket. objek penelitian diambil dari kelas X IPA yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil tes menulis teks biografi prasiklus disimpulkan bahwa yang mendapatkan nilai paling terendah yaitu nilai 45 sebanyak 6 (24%) siswa, siklus I sebanyak 11 (44% ) siswa, siklus II sebanyak 21 (88%) siswa, Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah setiap siswa kelas X IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang terampil menulis teks biografi melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri pada penelitian keterampilan menulis teks biografi dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis dan indikator penelitian yang telah ditetapkan sudah tercapai,  dinyatakan bahwa siswa kelas X IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang telah berhasil mencapai nilai tuntas yaitu 80%.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of implementing Find Someone Who games on the speaking ability of students in the 8A class of SMP IT Al Izzah Sorong. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design to observe the effectiveness of using interactive and engaging language learning activities in improving students' speaking skills. The participants of the study were 30 eighth-grade students from 8A class who were involved in the Find Someone Who games during English language lessons. The research was conducted over a period of six weeks, with data collected through speaking assessments, observations, and student feedback. The findings of the study revealed a significant improvement in the students' speaking ability after the implementation of Find Someone Who games. It can be seen from the pretest mean score was 70.58. In cycle one posttest, the score improved becoming 78.67 and in cycle two posttest become 82.45. The interactive nature of the games encouraged students to engage in meaningful conversations, practice speaking in English, and build confidence in expressing themselves orally. The results suggest that incorporating interactive language learning activities such as Find Someone Who games can be an effective strategy to enhance students' speaking skills in the language classroom.

Abstract

This classroom action research study investigates the efficacy of applying the repeated reading technique in enhancing reading comprehension among seventh-grade students at SMPS IT Al Izzah Sorong. The sample consists of 32 students, and the research design involves two cycles of interventions using a reading test comprising 20 multiple-choice questions as the primary instrument for data collection. The findings reveal a mean score of 70.85 in the pretest, indicating the baseline level of students' reading comprehension abilities. Following the implementation of the repeated reading technique, the posttest results show a notable improvement in students' comprehension levels, with a mean score of 79.62 in Cycle I and a further increase to 84.76 in Cycle II. The progressive trend in students' mean scores across the two cycles highlights the positive impact of the repeated reading technique on students' ability to comprehend and analyze descriptive texts. These results underscore the effectiveness of incorporating interactive and repetitive strategies in language arts instruction to support students' reading comprehension development. The study provides valuable insights into the benefits of utilizing the repeated reading technique as a pedagogical approach to enhance students' reading comprehension skills and promote academic success in language arts education.

Abstract

This article highlights the importance of a lecturer's success when providing a learning process to their students. For this reason, the study of the success of the learning process needs to be researched by looking at the influence of learning quality on student perceptions. The Faculty of Communication Sciences of Universitas Islam Bandung (UNISBA) has conducted a series of Online Visiting Lecturers in collaboration with the Faculty of Leadership and Management (FKP), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). The study opted comparative quantitative research approach to investigate the influence of teaching quality on Indonesian-Malaysian Students’ Persception  among the students who have participated in the visiting lecturer program. Based on the results of the calculation of R-square and R-value, the teaching quality positive influences the perception of Indonesian student by 54,3% and that of Malaysian student by 73.7%. It demonstrated that the teaching quality of the visiting lecturer program positively influences the perceptions of Indonesian-Malaysian students.

Abstract

Tinjauan Yuridis Perkawinan Campuran Antara WNI dan WNA. Perkawinan merupakan suatu hubungan yang terjalin antara seorang pria dan wanita yang telah diakui secara sah oleh agama ataupun negara. Perkawinan campuran merupakan perkawinan yang dilatar belakangi oleh perbedaan kewarganegaraan. Saat ini,perkawinan campuran bukanlah hal yang aneh karena di Indonesia sendiri sudah cukup banyak masyarakat yang melakukan perkawinan campuran. Tulisan ini membahas tentang status kewarganegaran bagi anak yang lahir dari perkawinan campuran, syarat hukum bagi WNI jika terjadi perceraian dalam perkawinan campurannya, dan kekuatan hukum dari perkawinan campuran, serta akibat dari perkawinan campuran. Adapaun penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui segala sesuatu yang berhubungan dengan perkawinan campuran. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan ialah pendekatakan kepustakaan atau bisa juga disebut dengan pendekatan yuridis normatif pendekatakan kepustakaan atau bisa juga disebut dengan pendekatan yuridis normatif yaitu pendekatan yang dilakukan melalui buku-buku, perundang-undangan, putusan peradilan, serta dokumen-dokumen lain yang berhubungan dengan judul ini. Berdasarkan apa yang telah tertuang dalam undang-undang baru tahun 2006 menjelaskan babhwa anak yang lahr dari pernikahan campuran memiliki kewarganegaraan ganda yang mana itu berarti negara mengaku i kewarganegaraannya asingnyan. Namun, hal itu hanya terjadi sampai anak berusia 18 tahun dimana setelahnya ia harus memilih salah satu kewarganegaraan saja. Perkawinan campuran memiliki proses yang rumit karena dilatarbelakangi oleh 2 sistem hukum yang berbeda dari 2 negara yang berbeda. Sehingga bagi yang ingin melakukan perkawinan campuran diharapkan mengetahui dan memahami terlebih dahulu prosedur dari perkawinan campuran dan memikirkan secara matang terkait status kewarganegaraanya.Kata-kata kunci: Perkawinan; Perkawinan Campuran; status kewarganegaraan

Abstract

Kurikulum adalah hal yang penting ketika melakukan pengelolaan dalam sebuah sekolah, karena menjadi barometer guan mengukur tingkat keberhasilan suatu kegiatan belajar mengajar. Dalam pembelajaran di sekolah akan kesulitan dalam mencapai suatu tujuan jika tidak adanya kurikulum yang jelas untuk dijadikan sebagai acuan pembelajaran. dewasa ini kurikulum 2013 yang masuk dengan pendidikan karakter serta kompetensi yang bertujuan mengubah pola pendidikan terhadap orientasi menuju hasil dari materi kependidikan. Abstract

This study aims to measure and analyze facts about the relationship between the lecturer's communication attractiveness in the Summer Course program in Thailand and student creativity in the study of culture tourism. The method used is quantitative; to measure the correlation, the researcher used the Correlation Analysis Test using IBM SPSS Statistics 23 software. The results of the research show that there is a significant correlation between the lecturer's communication attractiveness, who provides learning materials on the Summer Course program at the International College RMUTK, Thailand, and the creativity of Communication Science students in West Java, Indonesia, in studying Tourism and Thai culture. In general, the conclusion of this study has proven that the communication attractiveness of lecturers consists of six variables: lecturers' communication of attractiveness, namely: taking style attractiveness, communication skill attractiveness, communication techniques attractiveness, communication strategy attractiveness, communication behavior attractiveness, communication intelligence attractiveness has a positive and significant correlation with student creativity which is measured from 9 aspects creativity, namely: setting creativity, building creativity, organizing learning, facilitate creativity, positive creativity, balance and opportunity creativity, courage and imagination creativity, managing creativity, mastery of creativity. The variable with the highest relationship value is between the variable of Lecturer Communication Appeal and variable Y: Arrangement Creativity and Building Creativity. The relationship between variables that have the lowest relationship value is between the relationship of Communication Appeal and the variable of Learning Organization. The variable of Lecturer Communication Attractiveness (X) is closely related to Student Creativity (Y).

Abstract

The 2024 election in Indonesia faces the challenge of attracting the attention of Generation Z, young voters with unique characteristics and communication preferences. Legislative candidates are required to adjust their political communication styles to effectively capture interest and gain support from this generation. This study aims to analyze the political communication style employed by young legislative candidates in approaching Generation Z voters. The research method uses content analysis with a qualitative approach, examining communication styles through published content. The subjects of this study are young legislative candidates in the electoral district (Dapil) of Banten 1. The study concludes that to gain the attention and electability of Generation Z in the 2024 election, candidates should use an interpersonal communication style that is transparent and effective, utilizing visual aids and social media as primary platforms. Political communication that is simpler, relevant, effective, and authentic is the form of communication that Generation Z needs in the election

Abstract

This research is motivated by increasing merger and acquisition (M&A) activity at the global and national levels, where corporate communication has become a critical factor in determining the success of the integration process. Although the value of global M&A transactions will reach US$ 3.8 trillion by 2022, around 70% of M&A transactions fail to achieve their strategic objectives, with poor communication being one of the main factors of such failure. This research aims to analyze the strategy and impact of corporate communication in the M&A context, with a special focus on effective communication practices at the global level and their adaptation in the Indonesian context using a systematic literature study research method. The research results show that companies that implement a structured communication strategy from the early stages of M&A have a 40% higher integration success rate. In Indonesia, communication approaches that combine global standards with local values, such as deliberation and a family approach, have proven to be more effective in facilitating the integration process. Research also reveals that companies that integrate digital platforms in their M&A communications strategy achieve 45% higher levels of employee engagement, while social media monitoring is becoming increasingly critical with 70% of reputation issues during M&A stemming from discussions on social media. This research provides theoretical contributions to the development of adaptive M&A communication models as well as practical implications for communications professionals and executives involved in the M&A process
