Abstract

The Social Service Office of Depok City is a regional government agency that plays a strategic role in formulating, coordinating, and implementing social development policies to improve the quality of life and welfare of the community in Depok City. The objective of this research is to determine the influence of organizational culture on employee performance and the impact of organizational climate on the performance of employees at the Dinas Sosial Kota Depok. This study employs a quantitative approach using survey methods, with questionnaires as the primary instrument. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling, with a total of 37 respondents from the Social Service Office of Depok City. The data collected were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 25 software. Based on the results of this study, the organizational culture variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y), with a calculation result of t_count > t_table (3.558 > 1.690) and a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05. The organizational climate variable (X2) also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y), as shown by the calculation result of t_count > t_table (2.540 > 1.690) with a significance level of 0.000 > 0.05. Simultaneously, the organizational culture variable (X1) and the organizational climate variable (X2) have a positive significant effect on employee performance (Y). This is supported by the calculation result of F_count of 28.428 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05 and F_count > F_table (28.428 > 3.27). The analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2) shows an R Square of 0.626 or 62.6%, influenced by the organizational culture variable (X1) at 37.4% (100% - 62.6%) and the organizational climate variable (X2) at an R Square of 0.586 or 58.6%, while the remaining 41.4% (100% - 58.6%) is influenced by other independent variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the financial performance of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk over the period of 2019–2024. The evaluation was conducted using the Financial Value Added (FVA) method, employing a descriptive quantitative approach. The data used in this study is secondary data, obtained from the company's financial statements through documentation methods and literature review. The analysis results show that the FVA value of the company is in a positive condition (FVA > 0), indicating efficiency in the utilization of fixed assets. A positive FVA value means that the operational net profit, plus depreciation, is able to exceed the expenses related to fixed assets, such as depreciation costs and asset management. In this case, the company provides a positive financial contribution to shareholders, even though it has not yet fully created optimal economic value. However, although the company's FVA value shows positive results, it does not fully reflect that PT Semen Indonesia has created significant economic value. This is because, despite the company's efficiency in managing fixed assets, the creation of sustainable economic value still needs to be the focus. Aspects such as increased productivity, better cost management, and income diversification need to be considered in order to generate higher added value in the long run. Overall, this study concludes that PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has demonstrated positive financial performance related to the efficient use of fixed assets. However, the company needs to pay attention to other factors that can enhance the creation of economic value-added. With the right strategies, the company is expected to create more significant economic value and achieve financial sustainability in the long term.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the role of religiosity as a moderating variable in the relationship between fear of missing out (FoMO) and influencer marketing on the consumer behavior of Generation Z in Central Aceh Regency. The FoMO phenomenon, characterized by excessive anxiety when missing out on the latest information or trends, as well as the increasingly massive influence of influencer marketing through social media, is considered to have a significant contribution to the tendency of consumer behavior among Gen Z. Religiosity is considered a psychological factor that has the potential to control or weaken this consumer drive. This study uses the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The research objects are Gen Z born between 1997 and 2012, domiciled in Central Aceh Regency, actively following influencer accounts on social media, and have purchased products based on influencer recommendations. The determination of the number of samples refers to the general rules of SEM, which is a minimum of 100 respondents. The collected data were analyzed using SmartPLS software version 4.0. The results of the analysis show that FoMO and influencer marketing have a positive and significant effect on the consumer behavior of Gen Z in Central Aceh Regency. This means that the higher the level of FoMO and the more intense the exposure to influencer marketing strategies, the higher the respondents' consumer tendencies. Conversely, religiosity negatively influences consumer behavior, meaning that the higher the level of religiosity, the lower the consumer tendencies. Furthermore, religiosity has been shown to moderate the relationship between FoMO and influencer marketing on consumer behavior in a negative direction, thereby weakening the influence of both independent variables. These findings emphasize the important role of religiosity as a controlling factor in the digital era, which is rife with social pressure and marketing exposure through social media, especially among younger age groups who are vulnerable to consumer behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social media marketing activities on the business performance of Larisshop MSMEs. A quantitative approach was employed using purposive sampling, involving 100 active resellers as respondents. The collected data were analyzed through multiple linear regression using SPSS software. The results indicate that the variables of social media marketing, consisting of context, communication, collaboration, and connection, simultaneously have a significant effect on business performance, as evidenced by the F-value of 47.053. Among these four variables, communication emerged as the most dominant factor influencing business performance, with a regression coefficient (β) of 0.393. This finding highlights that effective communication with customers—through product information, promotional activities, and daily interactions on social media platforms—plays a vital role in improving sales performance and sustaining business growth. Furthermore, the R-square value of 65% demonstrates that the independent variables examined in this study explained 65% of the variance in business performance, while the remaining 35% is influenced by other factors outside the model. This study emphasizes the importance of applying a social media marketing strategy based on the 4C concept (context, communication, collaboration, and connection) as a key effort to enhance MSME performance. The optimization of communication and connection should be prioritized by fostering intensive interactions, offering personalized services, and establishing long-term relationships with customers. By doing so, Larisshop MSMEs can strengthen customer loyalty while also expanding their market reach. In addition, this study provides recommendations for future research to explore other relevant variables, such as experiential marketing or consumer experience, as well as the utilization of emerging social media platforms to broaden the market. Such exploration is essential to offer a more comprehensive understanding of digital marketing strategies in supporting the growth and competitiveness of MSMEs in the digital transformation era.

Abstract

This study analyzed the influence of gold price fluctuations and promotional on customer interest in the Gold Installment product at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk, Palembang Simpang Patal Sub-Branch. A quantitative approach was employed with 100 respondents, determined using the Slovin formula and an incidental sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews, then processed using SPSS 26 through validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The findings indicated that both partially and simultaneously, gold price fluctuations and promotions had a significant effect on customer interest, contributing 14.8 percent, while the remaining 85.2 percent was influenced by other factors outside the model. Promotion was identified as the dominant variable, implying that effective promotional strategies were key to increasing public interest in Sharia-based investments, particularly in the gold installment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the potential bankruptcy of PT Kimia Farma during the 2019–2023 period by employing the Altman Z-Score method, which is widely recognized as an analytical tool for predicting corporate financial distress. The Altman Z-Score model evaluates company performance by integrating several financial ratios, thereby providing an indication of whether a company falls into a safe, gray, or bankruptcy zone. This research adopts a quantitative descriptive approach, using secondary data obtained from PT Kimia Farma’s annual financial reports covering the years 2019 to 2023. The analysis is conducted by calculating five financial ratios that comprise the Altman Z-Score model, namely working capital to total assets, retained earnings to total assets, earnings before interest and tax to total assets, market value of equity to total liabilities, and sales to total assets. The findings of this study reveal that PT Kimia Farma was consistently in the gray zone during the period of 2019–2021, suggesting that the company faced financial instability and a moderate risk of bankruptcy. However, the results further indicate that in 2022 and 2023, the company shifted into the bankruptcy zone, signaling an alarming decline in financial health and highlighting the urgent need for managerial attention. This decline reflects weaknesses in profitability, liquidity, and leverage management, which, if not addressed promptly, may threaten the company’s long-term sustainability. The results of this study are expected to provide meaningful contributions both practically and academically. For practitioners, particularly company management, the study serves as valuable input for reassessing financial strategies, strengthening internal controls, and formulating policies aimed at restoring financial stability. For academics and future researchers, the findings offer a relevant reference for studies concerning bankruptcy prediction, financial performance evaluation, and corporate risk management, especially in the context of state-owned enterprises in Indonesia.

Abstract

Employee recruitment is an important aspect of human resource management that significantly influences the achievement of company goals. The recruitment process is not only about finding the right person for a particular position, but also a long-term strategy to improve the company's competitiveness. Recruitment is a crucial process because it determines the quality of employees who will contribute directly to organizational success. Therefore, companies must ensure that all stages of recruitment run smoothly, are well-directed, and align with the company's real needs. This study uses a descriptive research method with the aim of describing in detail how the recruitment process is carried out at PT. ABC. The research subjects consisted of two key informants, namely the Director and the Personnel Manager. To obtain valid and in-depth data, this study used data collection techniques in the form of direct interviews and field observations. The collected data were then analyzed using a qualitative analysis approach. Qualitative analysis helps to provide a deeper understanding of recruitment practices and their impact on organizational performance. The results of the study indicate that the recruitment process at PT. ABC begins with a thorough planning stage. The company first determines applicant qualifications, prepares clear job specifications, and aligns human resource needs with the company's targets and objectives. This aims to ensure that the recruited workforce truly matches the required competencies. Furthermore, evaluations are conducted periodically to ensure the effectiveness of the recruitment process. The findings highlight that effective recruitment directly influences the company's ability to achieve its long-term objectives. The conclusion of this study is that the recruitment process has a significant impact on company success. With the right recruitment, companies can create competent, loyal human resources who contribute optimally to achieving the organization's vision and mission.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT ABC for the 2020–2024 period using a solvency and profitability ratio analysis approach. The background of this study is based on the importance of a company's financial health in maintaining competitiveness and business sustainability amidst increasingly competitive market dynamics. Financial performance analysis not only serves to assess the effectiveness of company resource management but also serves as a reference for investors, creditors, and other stakeholders in making economic decisions. The research method used is quantitative descriptive analysis utilizing secondary data in the form of the company's annual financial reports accessed through the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Data collection techniques were carried out through documentation studies, with financial reports for the 2020–2024 period selected using a purposive sampling method. The analysis focused on calculating and interpreting solvency and profitability ratios. The results show that in terms of solvency, the debt to asset ratio (DAR) and debt to equity ratio (DER) tend to be high, reflecting the company's dependence on debt-based financing. This situation can pose financial risks if not balanced with an appropriate debt management strategy, resulting in suboptimal solvency performance. Meanwhile, profitability analysis shows that gross profit margin (GPM), net profit margin (NPM), and return on assets (ROA) are at relatively low levels. This indicates that the company's efficiency in generating profits from sales and asset utilization is not optimal. However, the return on equity (ROE) ratio actually shows quite good performance. This condition indicates that the company is able to optimize shareholder equity to generate a reasonable profit.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the effect of Return on Assets (ROA), Current Ratio (CR), Earnings Per Share (EPS), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on company stock prices. The focus of the study was directed at food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2024 period. This sub-sector was chosen because it has a strategic role in the Indonesian economy, as well as being one of the sectors that is relatively stable and has long-term growth prospects. This study uses secondary data in the form of annual financial reports and stock price information obtained from the official IDX website. The sampling method was carried out using a purposive sampling technique, namely selecting samples based on certain criteria. From a total population of 94 companies, 19 companies were obtained that met the criteria as research samples. The data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis methods with the help of Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) software version 22. The results of the study indicate that ROA has a significant effect on stock prices, which means that the higher the company's ability to generate profits from its assets, the greater investor confidence is reflected in the increase in stock prices. The CR variable also proved to influence stock prices, indicating that a company's liquidity is a consideration for investors in investment decisions. Conversely, the EPS variable did not significantly influence stock prices. This suggests that although EPS reflects earnings per share, this information is not always a dominant factor for investors in assessing stock prices in the food and beverage sub-sector. Similarly, the DER variable also had no significant effect, indicating that a company's capital structure does not directly influence market perception of stock prices.

Abstract

This research aims to prepare an operational budget for MSMEs Tahu XYZ Sako Palembang Branch as an effort to control costs and effective financial planning. Budget preparation is considered important because it can be a tool of managerial control, a means of evaluation, as well as a basis for decision-making that supports business sustainability. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with a case study approach. Data was obtained through interviews with owners and employees, direct observation of production activities, and documentation of financial statements. Secondary data in the form of MSME financial records for the period 2022 to 2024 were also analyzed to produce a comprehensive picture of the company's condition. The results of the study show that so far MSMEs have not prepared operational budgets in a structured manner, making it difficult to monitor financial conditions and performance thoroughly. After preparing the budget, it was found that the selling price of the product was lower than the production cost, causing a loss of IDR 5,028,927 in 2025. The budget also shows that the burden of non-production costs, such as marketing and distribution costs, is quite high and needs to be controlled. On the other hand, the results of interviews with consumers show that the majority are willing to accept an increase in the selling price of products as long as the quality is maintained, the service does not decrease, and the added value is still felt. These findings confirm that the preparation of operational budgets is an important instrument in supporting cost efficiency, determining the right selling price, and the sustainability of MSMEs.
