Abstract

This study empirically examines the influence of hedonic shopping value and shopping lifestyle on impulsive buying behavior among X app users in North Cikarang area using quantitative approach and associative research design. The respondents of this study were 103 people selected through purposive sampling technique, while primary data were obtained through questionnaire distribution and then analyzed using multiple linear regression method using IBM SPSS version 26 software. The results of the analysis show that the hedonic shopping value variable is proven to have a significant contribution in influencing impulsive buying behavior, as evidenced by the calculated t-value of 4.703 which is greater than the t-table of 1.984 with a significance level of 0.000, far below the threshold of 0.05. In addition, the shopping lifestyle variable also shows a significant influence on impulse buying with a calculated t-value of 12.013, exceeding the critical value of the t-table at the same significance level. When both variables were tested simultaneously, the calculated F-value was 106.621, which far exceeded the F-table value of 3.09, thus strengthening the conclusion that hedonic shopping value and shopping lifestyle together have a strong influence on the tendency for impulsive buying behavior. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the higher the hedonic drive that appears in consumer shopping activities and the stronger the consumptive lifestyle they lead, the greater the likelihood of consumers making spontaneous purchases on e-commerce platforms such as X. The results of this study also provide an illustration that digital consumer behavior in the modern era is strongly influenced by emotional and lifestyle factors, so understanding these aspects is important for e-commerce companies in formulating effective marketing strategies and being able to encourage a sustainable increase in transactions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Work Discipline (X1), Work Motivation (X2), and Work Environment (X3) on Employee Performance (Y) at CV. ABC. The sample in this study consisted of 51 employees of CV. ABC. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale, and the data were processed using Microsoft Excel 2019 and SPSS version 27 software. The sampling technique used was a saturated sampling method, where all employees in the company were selected as respondents. The research method applied in this study is multiple linear regression analysis, which allows for the identification of the relationships between independent variables (Work Discipline, Work Motivation, and Work Environment) and the dependent variable (Employee Performance). The results of the study indicate that the Work Discipline variable has a significant effect on Employee Performance, suggesting that employees who adhere to rules and regulations are likely to perform better. On the other hand, the Work Motivation variable does not have a significant effect on Employee Performance, indicating that motivation, in this case, may not play a major role in influencing performance. Furthermore, the Work Environment variable has a significant effect on Employee Performance, highlighting that a conducive and supportive work environment is crucial for improving employee performance. This study provides valuable insights into the factors that contribute to employee performance and can serve as a reference for improving human resource management strategies at CV. ABC.

Abstract

This research was conducted to examine the impact of competence development and employee-related factors on work performance at PT Anak Karya Cemerlang. The sample of this study consisted of all employees of the company, while the selection of respondents was carried out using a probability sampling method with Slovin’s formula to ensure representativeness. Data were processed through multiple linear regression analysis, which allowed the researcher to assess both the partial and simultaneous effects of the independent variables on the dependent variable, namely employee performance. The findings reveal that professional training does not have a significant impact on employee performance, even though it was initially expected to enhance technical skills and work capabilities. This may be due to the fact that most employees already possessed sufficient work experience, making additional training less influential. In contrast, work motivation shows a significant effect on performance, as internal and external encouragement are capable of increasing enthusiasm, loyalty, and productivity. The work environment also demonstrates a significant influence, both in terms of physical comfort and the social climate within the workplace, where supportive conditions enable employees to perform optimally. Furthermore, the analysis indicates that training, motivation, and work environment simultaneously have a substantial impact on employee performance, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 54.2%. This means that more than half of the variation in employee performance can be explained by these three variables, while the remaining 45.8% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study, such as leadership style, compensation, organizational culture, and individual characteristics. These findings emphasize the importance of prioritizing motivation and workplace conditions as key strategies for improving employee performance.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the needs of Cooperative coffee farmers Sridonoretno Business Group located in the village of Purwosari to improve the effectiveness of marketing strategies in order to increase sales of coffee products produced by its members. Cooperatives as one of the member-based economic institutions require appropriate marketing strategies to be able to compete in an increasingly competitive market, while supporting business sustainability and member welfare. The main purpose of this study is to formulate a marketing strategy in accordance with the conditions and potential of the cooperative. The research method applied is a qualitative approach with data collection through in-depth interviews with three main informants who are considered to have important insights and experience related to cooperative operations and marketing. SWOT analysis is used to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats facing the cooperative, while the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is applied to determine the priorities of marketing strategies based on strategic factors that have been identified. The results showed that the internal conditions of cooperatives strongly support the implementation of aggressive growth policies in marketing, focusing on increasing product distribution, more intensive promotion, and development of superior products. The formulated strategy is expected to be a practical guide for cooperatives to increase competitiveness, expand market share, and maintain business sustainability. However, this study has limitations because it only focuses on marketing aspects, without considering other external factors such as global market conditions, consumer behavior, and government policies that also affect the performance of cooperatives. Therefore, further research is recommended to involve more cooperative members and consumers as informants so that the resulting marketing strategy is more comprehensive, realistic, and applicable in the long term.

This study aims to analyze the influence of Hedonic Shopping Value and Shopping Lifestyle on Impulse Buying with Positive Emotion as a mediating variable in Generation Z TikTok Shop users in Muara Bungo City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causal associative method. Primary data were obtained through distributing online questionnaires to 170 respondents selected using accidental sampling techniques. Data analysis was carried out by validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression analysis, partial tests (t-test), simultaneous tests (F-test), and coefficient of determination (R²) analysis using the SPSS version 26 program. The results showed that Hedonic Shopping Value, Shopping Lifestyle, and Positive Emotion had a positive and significant effect on Impulse Buying, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.732 indicates that 73.2% of the variation in impulsive buying behavior can be explained by these three variables, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the research model. Positive Emotion has been shown to act as a mediating variable, strengthening the influence of Hedonic Shopping Value and Shopping Lifestyle on Impulse Buying.
