Abstract

Study This aim For develop And evaluate effectiveness module learning in increase ability speak in Language Indonesia on student class 9 JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Country 3 Padangsidimpuan. Approach study use design development (RD) with models ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). the module designed For facilitate learning independent students and strengthen Skills speak. Research result show that use module learning in a way significant increase ability speak student. The results of data analysis from the pre-test and post-test show enhancement score ability speak significant students in a way statistics. Additionally, students respond positive to module this, with part big from they feel more motivated And believe self in speak Language Indonesia. Importance the role of the teacher in implementation module is also proven important in reach success learning. Teacher Which trained and involved active in learning can increase effectiveness module. By Because That, training Teacher become factor key in integration module in learning. In conclusion, use module developed learning with the ADDIE model is effective in increase ability speak student in Indonesian. this module No only help in understanding material, but also encouraging interest and motivation student in learning Indonesian . Study This give base for development more carry on in Indonesian language teaching and providing contribution in effort increase effectiveness learning speak. Abstract

This research aims to produce a drama text writing module based on character education for students at SMP Negeri 1 Batang Angkola. The research method used is the Research and Development research method which refers to the Borg and Gall model. The process of developing teaching materials for writing drama texts based on character education is carried out in three stages, namely the preliminary study stage, initial product development and product testing. The results of material expert validation on content suitability obtained an average of 88% in the very good category, the presentation feasibility aspect obtained an average of 84.33% in the very good category and the language assessment obtained an average of 82.5% in the very good category. for graphic assessment by design experts, an average of 80.08% was obtained in the good category. Individual trials obtained an average percentage of 79.77 in the "good" category. Small group trials obtained an average percentage of 85.96 in the "very good" category. Limited field trials obtained an average percentage of 91.87 in the "very good" category. Based on these data, teaching materials that are suitable for teachers and students to use in learning are obtained. Teaching materials for writing drama texts based on character education were declared effective in generating student activity and learning outcomes. This is proven by tests on student learning outcomes in writing drama texts. At the pretest the average was 69 and at the posttest the average was 80. The difference between the pretest and the posttest was 11%, which indicated that learning using teaching materials for writing drama texts based on character education was better than before.

Abstract

This article examines language disorders and how the Islamic perspective views them. It is extraordinary that Islam contains all fields of science, and especially linguistics in the focus of this article. Islam does not only focus on studying religious issues but concerns all elements of life, including science. Therefore, this article was written based on the extraordinary nature of Islam in regulating everything.Data processing techniques in research are, by observing, reviewing, recording and collecting relevant data that is in accordance with the object of study in this research. In the use of verbal communication, each of us is equipped with language skills, but these abilities are not always the same, some are normal and some are abnormal. Not only opinions about the relationship between language and thought are discussed by Psycholinguistics/Neurolinguistics experts, religious perspectives also analyze and participate in the study of language and thought. Abstract

Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan nilai budaya pabuat boru sebagai media pembelajaran Semantik. Metode penelitian dilaksanakan secara deskriptif kualitatif, dengan wawancara,  teknik catata, transkrip, analisisi, memaknai sesuai ahli serta validasi hasil. pelaksanaan penelitian dilaksanakan di Sayurmatinggi kecamatan Sayurmatinggi Tapanuli Selatan Sumatra Utara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa setiap benda yang di munculkan saat upacara adat pabuat boru memiliki makna masing-masing. seperti contoh Nasi putih : maknanya melambangkan kesucian, Telor : agar jiwa dan raga bersatu padu,tetap selamat dan sehat-sehat. "Burangir" dimaknai sebagai simbol pemersatu dan sebagi bentuk tanda acara beradat. Adapun yang berbicara pada adat pangkobaran tersebut : Hata-hata ni Suhut (tuan ruamah, penyelenggara pesta), Kahanggi (saudara laki-laki dari mempelai wanita dari garis keturunan ayah), Anak boru (saudara perempuan dari garis keturunan ayah), Mora (saudara laki-laki dari pihak istri), Namora na toras (orang kaya), Raja-raja adat, Raja panusunan.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by how Prabowo's figure is represented in the Mojokdotco Instagram account in the context of the 2019 and 2024 presidential elections. Prabowo's representation in this account is of course inseparable from certain aims, objectives and interests. The aim of this research is to compare Prabowo Subianto's personality in Mojokdoco's Instagram posts in the 2019 and 2024 presidential elections using multimodal discourse analysis. Mojokdotco's posts were analyzed using the Kres and Leuween model of multimodal analysis theory. Kres and Leuween's Multimodal Analysis prioritizes analysis on lexical and visual aspects. Lexical aspect analysis will focus on the use of word connotation, overlexicalisation and lexical choices features. Then, visual analysis focuses on the use of participant features, iconography, gaze, composition, setting, distance, salience. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive paradigm. This research will focus on revealing the lexical and visual meanings displayed in an infographic about Prabowo. The results of this research are that there is the use of various visual features in Mojokdotco's uploads in the 2019 and 2024 presidential elections about the figure of Prabowo Subianto.Keywords: multimodal discourse analysis; Prabowo; Presidential Elactions.AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi bagaimana sosok Prabowo di representasikan dalam akun Instagram Mojokdotco dalam konteks Pilpres 2019 dan 2024. Representasi Prabowo dalam akun tersebut tentunya tidak terlepas dari maksud, tujuan, dan kepentingan tertentu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membandingkan personal Prabowo Subianto dalam unggahan Instagram Mojokdoco pada Pilpres 2019 dan 2024 dengan menggunakan analisis wacana multimodal. Unggahan-unggahan Mojokdotco dianalisis menggunakan teori analisis multimodal model Kres dan Leuween. Analisis Multimodal Kres dan Leuween mengedepankan penganalisisan pada aspek leksikal dan visual. Analisis aspek leksikal akan berfokus pada penggunaan fitur word connotattion, overlexicalisation dan lexical choices. Kemudian, analisis visual berfokus pada penggunaan fitur participant, iconografi, gaze, composition, setting, distance, salience. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelititan ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pradigma deskriptif. Penelitian ini akan berfokus pada pengungkapan makna leksikal dan visual yang ditampilkan dalam satu bentuk infografis tentang Prabowo. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat penggunaan berbagai fitur visual dalam unggahan Mojokdotco pada Pilpres 2019 dan 2024 tentang sosok Prabowo Subianto.Kata Kunci: analisis wacana multimodal; Prabowo; Pilpres

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of the Indonesian language in shaping digital character in the Society 5.0 era. Through a qualitative approach, this study analyzes various approaches in scientific research related to digital character governance. The results show that character education in the digital era faces challenges and opportunities. Digital literacy, technology-based learning, and social media usage have significant impacts on shaping students' characters. The Indonesian language curriculum needs to be updated to include aspects of digital literacy and the ethics of technology usage. Strengthening collaboration between schools, families, and communities is also necessary to build positive digital characters. Recommendations for the development of digital character through the Indonesian language include enhancing the digital literacy of teachers and students, curriculum adjustments, promoting positive social media usage, and strengthening collaboration among stakeholders. Further research can explore innovative teaching methods in technology-based Indonesian language learning and the long-term impacts of digital literacy integration in Indonesian language education on student character development.Keywords: Digital Character, Governance, Indonesian Language, Society 5.0

Abstract

This paper is based on the desire to observe the act of linguistic operation that use the topic of ‘all eyes on Rafah’ that posted by BBC Indonesia and Detikcom. The problem in this paper is how the act of overcoding and undercoding operated in the teks. Both of the problems are studied with the use of Semiotics from Umberto Eco. The consept that offered by Eco are overcoding and undercoding. Overcoding is the operation of sign that derivated to a subsign-subsign. Overcoding changes signs to a more analytic. Undercoding is an operation of subsign that derivated to the original sign. Undercoding changes the subsign to be more familiar based on general trend. The method used is the method of qualitative. The analysis of that are built inductively, from the exclusive theme to inclusive’s, then the researcher will make some interpretation of the meaning of data. The data will analyze with analitical and typological instrument. Typological analysis is the classification of processing data to the groups, sets, or category based on clear criteria. Criteria that used in this paper are overcoding and undercoding. The result of research showed that the articles that posted by BBC and Detikcom used more overcoding than undercoding. Overcoding produce subsign that is more analytical. Meanwhile, undercoding produce sign dari derived from general trend. Overcoding making text be more analytical and esthetic, while undercoding makes the text more familiar. Therefore, both articles focus more on the analytical and esthetic side than the familiarity because it is assumed that the topic is already viral so the writers felt there is no need to gain more readers.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the use of Problem Based Learning Methods in the structure of negotiation texts for class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Sipirok for the 2022-2023 academic year. This research method uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research informants consisted of: 36 class X SMA Negeri 1 Sipirok students and one teacher. The data analysis techniques used start from reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of data analysis found that from the conceptual understanding of data I, there were only 16 students who did not complete. Student learning mastery in data I has an average score of 65.38 with a percentage of 70.22% in the "High" category. Furthermore, the conceptual understanding of data II brings out the complete learning outcomes of all students in data II which has an average value of 95.97 with a percentage of 100% in the "Very High" category. A comparison of the two learning methods can be a positive contribution in developing the learning process in the classroom, especially in conceptual understanding of the structure of negotiation texts. Keywords: Use, Problem Based Learning Method, Conceptual Understanding, Structure, Negotiation Text.

Abstract

The problem formulation in this research is "What is the influence of using WhatsApp in writing procedural texts before and after in class VII MTs Panca Dharma Padang Sidempuan?" Class VII students at MTs Panca Dharma Padang Sidempuan. 2) To determine students' ability to write Procedure Text after using WhatsApp for class VII students at MTs Panca Dharma Padang Sidempuan. In this research the author uses associative research.  Associative research is an attempt to explain and find a description of the two variables, as well as see the influence between the two variables. Based on the results of research carried out by the author using a formula and the calculated value obtained from using the WhatsApp group is = 76, while the calculation without using the WhatsApp group is = 48 with a sample size of 15. Based on the calculation above, the author has found that the results using WhatsApp are greater than without using WhatsApp. Thus, that is = 76 48. From this score, the hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

This research was carried out at SMP IT Alhijrah Bintuju. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a significant influence of the application of distance learning techniques (online) on the ability to write procedure texts by class VII students at SMP IT Alhijrah Bintuju.This research is an experimental study with a population of class VII SMP IT Alhijrah Bintuju consisting of 1 class in which 28 students. Meanwhile, the sample for this research was class VII with a total of 28 students using total sampling techniques. The data from this research were obtained from test scores, namely a test of the ability to write procedure texts before using distance learning techniques (pre test) and a test of the ability to write procedure texts after using distance learning techniques (post test). The data obtained were analyzed using the t test formula.Based on the results of data analysis, the results obtained consist of: 1) The results of data calculations illustrate that the mean score for the ability to write procedure texts after using the distance learning technique (online) was obtained with a score of 78.04, in the "Good" category. 2) The results of data calculations illustrate that the mean score for the ability to write procedure texts before using the distance learning (online) learning model was obtained with a score of 67.68, in the "Enough" category. 3) The results of hypothesis testing obtained a value of t0 = 4.42. These results are compared with tt at degrees of freedom (df) 54 or (N1 + N2 - 2) = 28 + 28 - 2 = 54. The tt score is 2.00 at the 5% significance level. Thus, it can be concluded that t0 is greater than tt, namely = 4.42 2.0. So it can be said "there is a significant influence of the use of distance (online) learning techniques on the ability to write procedure texts by class VII students at SMP IT Alhijrah Bintuju." Keywords: Distance Learning Techniques, Online, Procedure Text, Writing
