Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan stilistika dan nilai upacara adat pernikahan karena pada hakikatnya nilai upacara adat pernikahan dapat membentuk karakter manusia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di desa Paringgonan Menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan simpulan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa Stilistika yang terdapat pada upacara adat pernikahan masyarakat paringgonan adalah pada bagian kalimat yang menggunakan bahasa daerah, seperti pada potongan kalimat “disi taridana di ibana gadis namora, laos diajak tahi tuhami nagiot lakka matua bulung dioban sama tu bagas nami hami surdu do sira dohot gulo, mangalo-alo tondi dohit bandanna.” Stilistika yang dapat disimpulkan dalam potongan kalimat tersebut adalah ungkapan berjiwa besar dalam menerima kebahagian anaknya yang membawa anak gadis yang bertuah kerumahnya. Kerendahan hati pihak laki-laki yang menyampaikan kondisi si anak gadis yang bertuah kepada keluarganya terlihat dari potongan kalimat “hami surdu do sira dohot gulo, mangalo-alo tondi dohot bandanna”.  Nilai upaca adat pernikahan dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan ajar sastra dan budaya lokal yang dapat membentuk karakter manusia.

Abstract

Judul penelitian ini adalah Analisis pendekatan resepsi sastra terhadap novel Chairil Tanjung  si anak singkong. Pendekatan resepsi itu adalah merupakan aliran sastra yang meneliti teks sastra dengan mempertimbangkan pembaca selaku pemberi sambutan atau tanggapan. Dalam memberikan sambutan dan tanggapan tentunya dipengaruhi oleh faktor ruang, waktu, dan golongan sosial. Setelah menganalisis novel Si anak singkong, dapatlah diketahui bahwa novel ini merupakan sebuah novel inspirasi atau motivator. Karena dengan membaca novel ini kita tergugah untuk mengubah keadaan dari yang susah menjadi sukses dengan cara semangat berkerja dan pantang menyerah. Novel ini sangat erat menggambarkan kehidupan sosial yang kental dengan nilai-nilai norma dan budaya yang masih menjujung kesetiaan, kehormatan, kasih sayang, dan tenggang rasa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada kemampuan menggunakan konjungsi antarkalimat pada paragraf argumentatif dengan tema “Kerusakan Lingkungan” oleh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Kota Padangsidimpuan dengan populasi penelitian adalah seluruh kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Kota Padangsidimpuan yang berjumlah 218 siswa, dan yang menjadi sampel adalah 32 siswa secara keseluruan. Untuk memperoleh data dalam penelitian, penulis mengajukan tes pada siswa, tes rumpang (cloze test) pada kemampuan menggunakan konjungsi antarkalimat (variabel X) dan tes esai pada paragraf argumentatif dengan tema “Kerusakan Lingkungan” (variabel Y). Metode penelitian dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis statistik yang menggunakan rumus korelasi “r” product moment. Maka diperoleh skor tertinggi untuk masing-masing variabel adalah 90 dan 70 terendah dengan rata-rata 75,9 untuk variabel X, serta 80 tertinggi dan 70 terendah dengan rata-rata 75,6 untuk variabel Y. Pada data yang telah diajukan diperoleh rxy= sebesar 0,448 ini berarti rxy > rtabel taraf signifikan 5% maupun 1% yaitu 0,448 > 0,361. Dengan demikian hipotesis yang diajukan dapat diterima kebenarannya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan siswa dalam menguasai Metode Pembelajaran Mind Map terhadap kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 6 Padangsidimpuan. Pendekatan yang dipilih untuk penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 7 kelas berjumlah siswa  230 orang dan sampel dari kelas XI MIA-2 sebanyak 34 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes dengan variabel X sebanyak 10 soal dan variabel Y sebanyak 5 soal melalui rumus korelasi “r” product moment pearson. Menurut analisis tersebut, skor untuk variabel X nilai tertinggi 90 dan terendah 60, dengan nilai rata-rata 79,70. Sedangkan skor tertinggi 90 dan terendah 70 dengan nilai rata-rata 82,05 untuk variabel Y. Nilai yang terdapat pada tabel hubungan “r” product moment pearson  diperoleh > 0.567 sehingga bila dibandingkan dengan  yaitu (0,567 > 0,349) maka hipotesis dalam penelitian diterima. Hasil tersebut membuktikan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari pemilihan metode pembelajaran Mind Map terhadap kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak.

Abstract

The learning process has one component that supports the success of the learning process, namely teaching materials. Teaching materials are also a set of learning tools or tools that contain learning materials, methods, boundaries, and ways of evaluating which are systematically designed and interesting in order to achieve the expected goals in achieving competencies or sub-competencies with all their complexity in the learning process. In addition, teaching materials can be said to be systematically compiled lecture materials or materials that educators and students or lecturers and students use in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to describe the influence of teaching materials containing folklore in Angkola on writing folklore of class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Batang Angkola. Research results an increase in the influence of the influence of Angkola's Folklore Teaching Materials on writing folklore for Class X Students of SMK Negeri 1 Batang Angkola. This can be seen in the hypothesis test carried out on the data found, where the hypothesis obtained the value of rxy (productmoment correlation correlation between variable X and variable Y) is 0.889 so that when compared with r table i.e. (0.669>0.45 then the hypothesis in this study is accepted.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the use of Problem Based Learning Methods in the structure of negotiation texts for class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Sipirok for the 2022-2023 academic year. This research method uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research informants consisted of: 36 class X SMA Negeri 1 Sipirok students and one teacher. The data analysis techniques used start from reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of data analysis found that from the conceptual understanding of data I, there were only 16 students who did not complete. Student learning mastery in data I has an average score of 65.38 with a percentage of 70.22% in the "High" category. Furthermore, the conceptual understanding of data II brings out the complete learning outcomes of all students in data II which has an average value of 95.97 with a percentage of 100% in the "Very High" category. A comparison of the two learning methods can be a positive contribution in developing the learning process in the classroom, especially in conceptual understanding of the structure of negotiation texts. Keywords: Use, Problem Based Learning Method, Conceptual Understanding, Structure, Negotiation Text.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an ability to use inter-sentence conjunctions in argumentative paragraphs with the theme "Environmental Damage" by class X students of SMA Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan City with the research population being all class X SMA Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan City, totaling 218 students, and the sample are 32 students in total. To obtain data in the research, the authors submit tests to students, cloze tests on the ability to use conjunctions between sentences (variable X) and essay tests on argumentative paragraphs with the theme "Environmental Damage" (variable Y). The research method uses descriptive quantitative analysis and statistical analysis using the correlation formula "r" product moment. Then the highest score obtained for each variable is 90 and the lowest 70 with an average of 75.9 for the X variable, and the highest 80 and 70 the lowest with an average of 75.6 for the Y variable. In the data that has been submitted it is obtained rxy= equal to 0.448 this means rxy rtable significant level of 5% or 1%, namely 0.448 0.361. Thus the hypothesis proposed can be accepted for truth.Keywords: Conjunctions BetweenSentences, Argumentative Paragraphs.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Identifying Persuasive Sentences in Negotiation Texts Using Learning Models Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Class X Students of SMK N 1 Batang Angkola”. The aim of this research is to describe the ability to identify persuasive sentences in negotiation texts using a learning model Kooperatif Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) students. This research method uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. The population in this study were all class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Batang Angkola, totaling 279 students. The sample used in this research was 36 students of class random sampling. The data collection technique uses 10 multiple choice questions and 5 fill-in-the-blank questions. The research results show differences in the average scores for variables X and Y. The average score for variable After the data is analyzed it can be stated that N=36 with X= 2920, Y= 2655,2= 243000, AND2= 200825, so XY = 218000. Then looking at the average, it can be shown that X= 81.11, Y= 73.752= 6750, AND2= 5578.47 XY = 6055.5. This is based on hypothesis testing carried out on the data found, namely the hypothesis obtained that the rxy value is 0.477 so that when compared with the r table, namely (0.477 0.339), the hypothesis in this study is accepted.Keywords: Persuasive Sentences, Negotiation Texts, CIRC Learning.

Abstract

Abstract  This study aims to: (1) Know the use of the Writing in The Here and Now method for class X students of the Padangsidimpuan Teruna Private Vocational School. (2) Knowing the ability to write short stories in class X students of the Padangsidimpuan Teruna Private Vocational School (3) Knowing the effect of using the Writing in The Here and Now method on the ability to write short stories in class X students of Padangsidimpuan Teruna Private Vocational School. This research is a type of quantitative research in the form of numbers and scores. The method used in this research with a quantitative. The student population is 285 students, 254 male students and 31 female students. The sample in this study was Software Engineering class X, the sample subjects were 25 students. The sample collection make Simple Random Sampling. Data collection used are questionnaires and tests. The average value on the X variable is 75.60 in the "Good" category, while the average value on the Y variable is 78.80 in the "Good" category. The data analysis technique used is product moment correlation, the error level of the analysis results is determined at 5%. The results showed that there was a positive effect on the Writing in The Here and Now method on the ability to write short stories in class X students of the Padangsidimpuan Teruna Private Vocational School, which was indicated by a value of 0.546 and 0.413

Abstract

This research was inspired of the team's observations at three Muhammadiyah elementary schools in Padangsidimpuan on the use of standard language. They found many errors these teachers made, especially in using standard words related to spelling and writing. Based on this observation, the research aimed to know the improvement of the ability of Muhammadiyah Elementary School teachers in Padangsidimpuan to use standard language assisted by the media of the KBBI Online page. This research was action research consisted of two cycles; cycles I and II. In cycle, I, there was only 19 teachers who achieved a completion score of 75 from the total of 45 teachers, and in cycle II there was an improvement to 40 people with a total percentage in cycle I of 42% and cycle II of 89% or an increase of 47%. According to the results, it can be stated that using the media KBBI online page can improve teachers’ ability to use standard language, spelling, and writing at Muhammadiyah Primary School Padangsidimpuan.
