Abstract

This study aims to analyze and implement community empowerment in Talang Arah Village based on local government regulations that lead to independent use of technology. Community empowerment is a process that aims to improve the quality of life of the community by providing the necessary knowledge, skills and resources so that they can actively participate in local development. Talang Arah Village is an area located in a rural area that still faces various development challenges, including limited access to technology. Local government regulations support community empowerment and encourage the use of technology to improve quality of life and development in the region. This research will use a qualitative approach with a case study method in Talang Arah Village. Data will be collected through interviews with relevant stakeholders, direct observation, and analysis of local government regulatory documents related to community empowerment and technology. The results of this study are expected to provide a better understanding of community needs and the potential for developing technologies that are relevant to local conditions in Talang Arah Village. In addition, this research will also identify obstacles and opportunities in implementing independent technology-based community empowerment in accordance with government regulations.

Abstract

Computer Network Engineering or commonly abbreviated as TKJ is a major in SMK that studies how to assemble computers, basic networks, and hardware components that are in computers. Apart from that, as a TKJ major, you will also learn how to install operating systems (OS), handle problems related to personal computers (PCs), create Local Area Networks (LAN) networks, design websites, and much more. prepare to be able to install computer networks, both computer networks within homes, offices, between offices, between cities, and between countries. FYI, every company needs a computer network. Usually, companies use a LAN-type computer network that functions to connect one computer to another. The result of this PKM activity is an increase in skills and knowledge in using Information Technology such as the application of computer networks to support competency exam activities.

Abstract

Community Service through Training on the Preparation of Web-Based Teaching Materials for Teachers of MTsN 2 Bengkulu Tengah. The target of this training is MTsN 2 Bengkulu Tengah Teachers. The purpose of carrying out this activity is to train teachers at MTsN 2 Bengkulu Tengah in compiling web-based teaching materials. The method used includes a brief presentation of learning model material, Web-based E-Learning material, then followed by discussion, question and answer, and giving independent assignments to each participant. The results of the service carried out showed that the Web-Based e-Learning Model Interactive Teaching Materials fulfilled the eligibility with a description for displaying web media teaching materials included in the Good category (with an average percentage of 78.39%), for teaching materials included in the Good category (with the average percentage is 88.47%), and for students' perceptions of teaching materials it is in the Fairly Good category (with an average percentage of 66.84%). The results of this dedication can be used as a basis for policy making for the Central Bengkulu Regency Education and Culture Office to try to apply the innovative learning model and learning tools for the Web-based E-learning model in other schools in Central Bengkulu Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze the improvement of Social Learning Network (SLN) usage among students of MTsN 2 Bengkulu Tengah. SLN is a digital platform that enables students to share knowledge, communicate, and collaborate within a socially connected learning environment. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach, employing survey methods and statistical data analysis. The research sample consisted of 100 students from MTsN 2 Bengkulu Tengah. The research instrument used was a questionnaire developed by the researcher. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate a significant increase in the usage of SLN among students of MTsN 2 Bengkulu Tengah after its implementation. It was found that the use of SLN improved students' access to learning resources, facilitated communication and collaboration among students, and enhanced their learning motivation. Additionally, the study identified several factors influencing the usage of SLN, such as students' technological abilities, teacher support, and their perception of the benefits of using SLN. In conclusion, the use of Social Learning Network has the potential to enhance the learning experience of students at MTsN 2 Bengkulu Tengah. With easy access, improved communication, and open collaboration, SLN can help students acquire better knowledge, increase their engagement in the learning process, and expand their social networks in the educational realm.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi penanganan gangguan (speech delay) terhadap interaksi sosial anak usia dini di Posyandu Hibrida Ujung Kota Bengkulu. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak-anak di Hibrida Ujung Kota Bengkulu yang berjumlah 20 anak usia dasar. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanganan gangguan (speech delay) terhadap anak usia dini di Hibrida Ujung Kota Bengkulu karena dua faktor yaitu internal yang berasal dalam diri anak yaitu genetika, kecacatan fisik, malfungsi neorologis, prematur, jenis kelamin. Eksternal berasal dari luar diri anak yang berupa kurangnya stimulasi berbahasa dari kedua orang tua, keluarga serta lingkungan. Adapun strategi yang diberikan dengan memberikan alat bantu pendengaran, instruktur memberikan pelajaran privat khusus, serta melalui isyarat gerak tubuh, tangan dan bibir. instruktur memberikan tambahan pembelajaran yang setara agar lebih banyak mengenal kata, menyusun kata serta berbicar dan berkomunikasi. Abstract

Pengembangan kreativitas harus dilatih sejak dini, agar nantinya diharapkan memiliki pengetahuan luas serta keterampilan yang memadai dan didukung pula dengan kebiasaan yang positif. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah mengembangkan kreativitas dan keterampilan anak melalui dongeng yang juga mendukung program gerakan literasi sekolah. Masalah yang sering kita lihat dimasyarakat sekarang ini banyak dari anak-anak yang menghabiskan waktunya dengan kegiatan yang kurang berguna seperti main hp, main game dan menonton televisi serta kegiatan lainnya yang kurang memberikan pengetahuan kepada anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode mendongeng/cerita. Hasil yang diperoleh anak-anak merasa senang dan termotivasi untuk membaca, mengeluarkan ide, bertanya, dan percaya diri di depan khalayak ramai. Dari pengabdian ini rata-rata anak telah mampu mengeluarkan kreativitas dan mengembangkan kemampuanya masing-masing. Disimpulkan bahwa salah satu cara melatih, mengembangkan kreativitas serta kemampuan anak dapat dilakukan dengan cara mendongeng. Kata kunci: Kreativitas (1); keterampilan (2); dongeng (3);

Abstract

Literasi Digital adalah kemampuan yang perlu dimiliki oleh masyarakat di era ini. Akan tetapi tidak semua laposan masyarakat memiliki kemampuan literasi digital ini, terutama para anggota yang umumnya terbiasa dengan menggunakan sosial media. Tujuan dari dilakukannya kegiatan ini yaitu untuk memberikan edukasi kepada peserta didik supaya lebih bijak dalam menggunakan media sosial, memberikan kontribusi dalam menekan angka kesenjangan kecakapan digital dipedesaan, khususnya yaitu di PKBM Ilmu Bunda Kota Bengkulu serta membangun karakter pada peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan melalui seminar literasi yang sebelumnya dilakukan observasi terlebih dahulu terhaddap sekolah sekaligus bekerja sama dengan smarfren community. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah literasi digital bukan hanya tentang teknologi itu sendiri, tetapi juga tentang bagaimana membaca dan menulis dengan cerdas dan benar. Untuk itu, diperlukan edukasi tentang bagaimana mengembangkan literasi digital yang baik agar penggunaanya tidak berdampak buruk pada karakter yang dimiliki. Selain itu fungsi pengawasan dari orang tua di rumah dan guru memegang peranan tidak kalah penting. Kata kunci: Literasi Digital; Karakter ; Peserta Didik

Abstract

Pendampingan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan secara teoritis dan praktis penggunaan bahasa Inggris dasar, expresi ekspresi serta kosakata yang digunakan. Kegiatan pelatihan ini melibatkan para Siswa PT. Javas Anugerah Perkasa. Mentor dalam kegiatan ini melibatkan dosen-dosen bahasa Inggris yang memiliki keterampilan dan penguasaan bahasa Inggris yang baik. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pendampingan bertempat di PT. Javas Anugerah Perkasa Bengkulu. Pelatihan ini diadakan untuk untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa para siswa sangat antusias dalam mengikuti pembelajaran yang dapat dilihat dari keaktifan dan kehadiran mereka selama mengikuti kegiatan. Abstract

TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language) training is a necessity for students at IAIN Bengkulu, especially for final year students who will take the TOEFL test as one of the requirements for graduation or when entering the world of work. One of them at IAIN Bengkulu who is used as a partner is the IAIN English Club Students. The main problem faced by partners is the lack of understanding regarding TOEFL so that the TOEFL scores of students in the IAIN English Club Student environment are still not in line with the expected targets. Therefore, community service activities carried out by the academic community in the English Literature Study Program need to be carried out as a form of practicing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The aim of this activity is to increase TOEFL scores for students in the IAIN environment. The service method used during training activities is by using the lecture method, question and answer, and practice working on TOEFL questions according to the material prepared by the presenter. The results of community service activities show that there is an increase in student TOEFL scores in the IAIN English Club Student environment.
