Abstract

. This research investigates mutashabihat verses in the Qur'an through the lens of hermeneutics, focusing on applying the principles of al-isti'arah (metaphor) and al-tashbih (simile) as stipulated within the discipline of ushul tafsir. Mutashabihat verses, characterized by semantic ambiguity and a plurality of interpretations, frequently spark discourse among exegetes. Adopting a hermeneutical approach facilitates the deconstruction of intrinsic meanings by considering linguistic, historical, and theological contexts. The principles of al-isti'arah and al-tashbih, as rhetorical instruments of the Qur'an, are essential in the effective transmission of divine messages. This study aims to identify the modus operandi of implementing these two principles in the explication of mutashabihat verses and their contribution to holistic comprehension. The research findings are expected to contribute substantially to the methodology of Qur'anic exegesis, particularly in addressing textual ambiguity, and to enrich the scholarly corpus of ushul tafsir.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low quality of Fiqh learning at MA Darussalam Ngesong Sengon Jombang which is caused by the use of conventional learning methods such as lectures that tend to be monotonous. In the context of Islamic education, Fiqh has an important role as a basis for understanding sharia law. Therefore, innovation in learning methods is needed that can increase motivation, active participation, and student learning outcomes. One of the alternatives used in this study is the Jigsaw type Cooperative Learning method.The focus of this research covers three things: (1) How is the implementation of the Cooperative Learning Type Jigsaw method at MA Darussalam Ngesong Sengon Jombang. (2) How is the quality of learning the Fiqh subject at MA Darussalam Ngesong Sengon Jombang. (3) How is the implementation of the Cooperative Learning Type Jigsaw method in improving the quality of learning in the Fiqh subject at MA Darussalam Ngesong Sengon Jombang.This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study consist of Fiqh teachers, the principal, and students.The results of the study (1) The implementation of the Cooperative Learning Jigsaw Type at MA Darussalam Ngesong Sengon Jombang consists of three stages, namely the preparation of group formation, the distribution of learning material tasks, and reflection and feedback. (2) The quality of learning in the Fiqh subject at MA Darussalam Ngesong Sengon Jombang is assessed through three main aspects: conceptual understanding, learning independence, as well as motivation and enthusiasm. (3) The implementation of the Cooperative Learning Jigsaw Type method in improving the quality of learning in the Fiqh subject at MA Darussalam Ngesong Sengon Jombang focuses on three areas: understanding of basic fiqh material, knowledge of worship practices, and the application of purification laws

Abstract

Variation method is a teaching method that uses more than one method. This variation method is very helpful in the learning process, especially in Islamic religious education subjects, because according to the teacher of the Aqidah Akhlak subject at MA Midanutta'lim Jogoroto Jombang. when using this method in the learning process, the material is centralized and focused on the teacher. However, in this case, students do not only listen, but in the middle of the learning process the teacher interacts with students by asking questions when the teacher has finished explaining the material. Based on the results of the research and discussion that have been presented previously, the following conclusions can be drawn: The application of a variety of methods in Islamic religious learning has a positive impact on students' interest, involvement, and understanding. To maximize the results, it is important to continue to improve supporting facilities, teacher training, and time and class management so that Islamic religious learning is more effective and enjoyable for students. Significant supporting factors in this study include support from the school, active teacher involvement, and high student interest in variations in learning methods. Meanwhile, the main inhibiting factors are related to time constraints, classroom management, limited facilities, and resistance to change faced by some teachers and students. To maximize the application of a variety of methods in Islamic religious learning, more efficient time management is needed.

Abstract

. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of digital technology in the learning process on student achievement at SMPN 6 Karawang Barat, compared to conventional learning methods. The background of this study is based on the needs of the world of education to adapt to technological developments and the challenges in improving student learning outcomes in the digital era. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The subjects of the study consisted of two groups of students: an experimental group that followed digital technology-based learning, and a control group that used conventional methods. The main instrument in this study was a learning achievement test given before and after treatment (pretest and posttest). The results of the data analysis showed that there was a significant difference between the learning achievements of students who used digital technology and students who followed conventional methods. Students in the experimental group showed a higher increase in learning outcomes. These findings indicate that the use of digital technology in learning is more effective in improving student achievement compared to traditional methods. This study recommends continuous integration of technology in the teaching and learning process in schools as an effort to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

This study began with problems in learning basketball games for class X students of SMAN 7 Kediri. It was found that the level of accuracy of throwing the ball into the basketball hoop was still low, which was caused by the lack of motivation and seriousness of students in participating in learning. The purpose of this study was to improve the accuracy of throwing the ball into the basketball hoop and to increase the motivation and seriousness of students in learning through a combination of target games. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out collaboratively and participatory. The subjects of the study consisted of 36 class X-3 students of SMAN 7 Kediri, with 18 male students and 18 female students. The data obtained were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of the study showed that the combination of target games can improve the results of the accuracy of throwing the ball into the basketball hoop and increase the motivation and seriousness of students in learning. This can be seen from the increase in student motivation and seriousness as well as the increase in the results of the accuracy of throwing the ball / shooting into the basketball hoop so that the completion reached 94.3% in the second cycle.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Role of Epigenetic Modification in the Development of Diabetes Disease, referring to 11 journals sourced from national and international publications. Using the literature review method. Based on the results obtained, Epigenetic Modification plays an important role in the sustainability of diabetes sufferers, where a person's lifestyle, diet and positive activities can help prevent the severity of diabetes from further damaging a person's body and help change gene expression and produce better blood sugar regulation, increase insulin sensitivity, and fight inflammation and oxidative stress that are often associated with diabetes, and help reduce the risk of this disease affecting offspring and the next generation.

Abstract

The problem in this study is caused by the low learning outcomes of students. The purpose of this study to improve student learning outcomes in economics subjects by using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) and Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning models in class XI of SMAN 4 Tasikmalaya. The method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental type with a pre-test post-test nonequivalent multiple group design research design. The population used in this study were all class XI taking economics with a total of 108 students, while the sample used was class XI-7 and XI-10 with sampling using a nonprobability sampling technique of the purposive sampling type. The result showed that there were differences in improving student learning outcomes using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) and Student Teams Games Tournament (STAD) learning models which can be seen from the result of the pre-test and post-test as well as the result of data processing using SPSS. The result prove that both learning models can improve student learning outcomes in economics subjects with the material of price index and inflation in class XI SMAN 4 Tasikmalaya. This study concludes that experimental class 2 using the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model experienced a higher increase in learning outcomes compared to experimental class 1 using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the effect of the implementation of the demonstration method on students learning interest in local Diniyah content subjects at SMPN 2 Mojowarno Jombang. The demonstration method is used to help students master the module directly through observation and application, especially the procedures for worship methods such as ablution and prayer. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the demonstration method significantly increased students learning attention, which was seen from the increase in the average learning attention score in the experimental class compared to the control class. Not only that, this method makes education more interesting, interactive, and meaningful for students. Thus, the demonstration method has proven to be effective in increasing student motivation and involvement in local Diniyah content education. This research provides significant implications for teachers to use a more instant and contextual educational approach to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

Rembang District has 27 villages, to realize good administration of the village requires good performance from the village apparatus. The purpose of this study is to provide information on how the performance of village apparatus is influenced by work discipline, work motivation and work stress. This study uses a quantitative research type with a survey using a questionnaire. This study involves two types of variables. The variables of work discipline, work motivation as independent variables, while performance as the dependent variable. Research data were obtained directly without intermediaries. The population of this study was village apparatus throughout Rembang District with a population of 232 people. The sampling technique used the entire population, but the final number of samples was 170 people because 62 people were unwilling to be research subjects. The analysis techniques used were instrument tests, hypothesis tests and determination tests. The findings of this study were that the variables of work discipline and work motivation had a significant effect on the performance of village apparatus, while the work variable did not affect the performance of village apparatus.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Al-Miftah Lil Ulum method in improving the ability to read classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning), specifically Fathul Qorib, at Pondok Pesantren Al-Hayyat, North Kalimantan. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the Al-Miftah Lil Ulum method—focusing on mastery of Arabic grammar (nahwu and shorof) as the foundation for understanding Arabic texts—is systematically applied by instructors during kitab kuning learning sessions. The application of this method significantly enhances students’ comprehension of sentence structures, vocabulary meanings, and legal contexts in Fathul Qorib. Supporting factors include teacher consistency, a gradual learning approach, and practical translation exercises (both manthuq and mafhum). In conclusion, the Al-Miftah Lil Ulum method proves effective in improving students’ reading and understanding of classical Islamic texts.
