Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of academic procrastination on achievement motivation among Accounting Education students at Sebelas Maret University. A quantitative approach with causal comparative design was employed. Data were collected through online questionnaires from 30 students using Likert scale instruments. The results reveal that academic procrastination has differential effects depending on students' motivation levels. For low-motivation students, procrastination showed negative effects (-0.27), while for high-motivation students it demonstrated positive impacts (0.14). These findings indicate that the relationship between procrastination and achievement motivation is dynamic and contextual. The study provides important implications for developing tailored procrastination intervention strategies based on students' motivational profiles.

Abstract

This study aims to understand and analyze the legal position of the power of attorney used to enforce mortgage rights in order to provide subsidized house ownership credit. This pertains to both Article 15 paragraph 5 of Law Number 6 of 1994 concerning Mortgage Rights, which provides an exception regarding the time period for the power of attorney to guarantee certain credit, and Regulation of the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning or the Head of the National Land Agency of the Republic of Indonesia Number 22 of 2017, which establishes the time limit for using this power of attorney. Using original data from field research, this paper employs an empirical legal method. With a population and a deliberate non- random sampling procedure, the approach is descriptive analytical. The study's conclusions indicate that the power of attorney to impose mortgage rights functions as a guarantee to the creditor as well as a license given to the mortgage holder or another individual to act on behalf of the mortgage grantor before the PPAT throughout the process of imposing mortgage rights. Article 1276 of the Civil Code states that if the debtor defaults or makes late payments, the creditor may take legal action to enforce the agreement, claim damages, or terminate the arrangement with compensation.

Abstract

A teacher spends the most time with students in the realm of education, they interact directly every day and provide learning that is not only theory but also practice in life. The objectives of this research are: To find out the efforts of teachers in integrating Islamic education values to prevent the three major sins of education; To find out the methods used by teachers in integrating Islamic education values to prevent the three major sins of education; To find out the challenges faced by teachers at Pelita Al-Quran Junior High School in the process of internalizing Islamic education values related to preventing the three major sins of education. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method with the type of research is field research. Data collection techniques using observation, interview and documentation methods. The results showed that the teacher's efforts in integrating Islamic education values for the prevention of the three major sins of education there are several effective strategies implemented by the school, such as routine activities to study the book of Arbain Nawawi, the application of discipline, the formation of a team handling the three major sins of education. The methods applied by teachers in integrating Islamic education values are exemplary methods, habituation and advice. there are several challenges such as ineffective coordination between the cottage and the school, and the diversity of students' background.

Abstract

Islamic Education (PAI) plays a crucial role in character building, particularly in enhancing critical thinking skills through Problem-Based Learning (PBL). This study aims to explore the efforts of PAI teachers in implementing PBL to encourage active student participation in the learning process. Using a qualitative approach, this research analyzes literature and documents related to PBL and critical thinking. The results indicate that PBL not only improves students' understanding of religious teachings but also hones their analytical and problem-solving skills. Teachers act as facilitators who create a challenging learning environment, encouraging students to explore relevant moral and social issues. Through group discussions and reflections, students learn to appreciate diverse perspectives and develop critical thinking abilities. This study concludes that PBL is effective in enhancing the critical thinking skills of PAI students, and it is recommended that teachers continue to develop competencies in applying this method to create more relevant and participatory learning experiences.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to improve student learning outcomes in Physical Education, Sports, and Health for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Ngadirejo 1, Kota Kediri, by utilizing an inclined plane. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. Each cycle includes planning, implementing actions, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 22 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Ngadirejo 1, consisting of 12 male and 10 female students. Data sources were obtained from teachers and students. Data collection techniques included observation and documentation. The results of the study indicate that using an inclined plane as a teaching aid can enhance student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. Before the intervention, the learning process was conventional, resulting in low student motivation and engagement. In cycle I, session 2, there was an improvement in student motivation, engagement, and learning outcomes, although not yet optimal. The implementation of cycle II led to a further increase in student motivation and engagement, as reflected in the average class score, which rose by 9.47 points from 68.56 (categorized as sufficient) in cycle I to 78.03 (categorized as good) in cycle II. Meanwhile, student learning achievement or mastery increased by 45.46%, from 36.36% in cycle I to 81.82% in cycle II. Additionally, student performance in practice, attitude, and knowledge improved from the "low" category to "sufficient," with the average performance score rising from 60.33 in cycle I to 68.67 in cycle II. Thus, using an inclined plane can support quality learning. The conclusion of this study is that implementing an inclined plane as a learning tool enhances student learning outcomes in the forward roll lesson for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Ngadirejo 1, Kota Kediri.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using audio-visual media in improving student learning outcomes in Fiqh subjects for seventh-grade students at MTs Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Seblak Jombang. The research was motivated by low student engagement and comprehension due to the dominance of one-way lecture methods. A qualitative case study approach was used, involving Fiqh teachers, the school principal, and seventh-grade students as research subjects. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings reveal that the use of audio-visual media significantly enhances learning quality across cognitive (material comprehension), affective (attitude toward learning), and psychomotor (worship practice skills) domains. Students became more active, enthusiastic, and found it easier to grasp procedural content. Additionally, the media strengthened the teacher’s role as a facilitator and fostered a more interactive and contextual learning environment. In conclusion, audio-visual media represent an effective and relevant instructional strategy for more applicable and transformative Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of self-efficacy and the peer environment on learning motivation and its implications for learning outcomes in Grade X at State Senior High School 6 Tasikmalaya. This study employs a quantitative research method, with a sampling technique using probability sampling through simple random sampling, involving a total of 209 participants. The results of the path analysis indicate a significant influence of self-efficacy on learning motivation, a significant significant influence between peer environment and learning motivation, there is a significant influence between self-efficacy and learning outcomes, there is a significant influence between peer environment and learning outcomes, there is a significant influence between learning motivation and learning outcomes, there is a significant influence between self-efficacy and learning outcomes through learning motivation, there is a significant influence between peer on learning outcomes through learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Physical Education, Sports, and Health in grade V students of SD Negeri Bulusari 1, Kediri Regency through the application of the play group method. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach which is implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were all grade V students of SD Negeri Bulusari 1, Tarokan District, Kediri Regency.Based on the observation results in cycle 1, out of 14 fifth grade students of SD Negeri Bulusari 1, there were 5 students who were able to hit the ball correctly. Students are declared to be able to hit the ball correctly if they are able to hit the ball correctly 3 times out of 5 times hitting the ball. During the learning process in cycle 1 related to student attitudes, the percentage results were 68.6%, while the target desired by the researcher was that at least 80% of the number of students must achieve the Minimum Completion Criteria (complete) value. The ability of students to hit the ball in cycle 2 increased from cycle 1, this is indicated by the decrease in the number of students who were able to hit the ball less than 3 times out of 5 times hitting the ball. During the learning process in cycle 2 related to student attitudes, it increased to 91.5% (up 22.9% from cycle 1). This success rate indicates that the learning process of the rounders game with this modification was successful because it had reached the target and even exceeded the target desired by the researcher, namely 80% of the number of students had completed the Minimum Completion Criteria value.Learning the rounders game with modifications received positive responses from students. This can be seen from the results of the student response questionnaire analysis of learning the rounders game with modifications which showed that almost 90% of students felt happy in following the learning process. So it can be concluded that learning the rounders game with modifications is acceptable and can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to uncover the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model in Fiqh subjects at MA Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Seblak Jombang. Additionally, it highlights how this strategy affects students' enthusiasm and learning motivation. The research examines three main aspects: the strategy for implementing the CTL model, the level of student learning motivation, and the relationship between the CTL strategy and the increase in motivation within the context of Fiqh learning.To investigate the phenomena under study, this research adopts a qualitative inquiry approach characterized by an in-depth case study. Essential data was collected through a series of meticulous observations, intensive face-to-face dialogues with school leaders, Fiqh teachers, and students, complemented by a review of relevant documents. The research was conducted at MA Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Seblak Jombang, which has actively implemented the CTL model in Fiqh learning. The researcher directly served as the primary instrument in collecting field data, interpreting findings, and analyzing the relationships between variables.The study reveals that the CTL model plays a crucial role in boosting students' learning enthusiasm. They demonstrated fervent spirit, actively asked questions, and took greater responsibility in mastering Fiqh material, given its inseparable relevance to the validity of their worship. The school also supported this method by providing facilities for practical worship, such as actual practice of wudu, shalat, and even funeral arrangements. The CTL learning model in Fiqh studies proved effective not only in honing cognitive intelligence but also in comprehensively instilling religious character and practical worship skills in students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis ketimpangan kuasa dalam kasus kekerasan seksual terhadap anak perempuan di Pontang, Serang, melalui perspektif teori Foucault tentang bio-power, governmentality, dan kuasa disiplin. Latar belakangnya adalah tingginya angka kekerasan seksual yang dilakukan oleh orang terdekat, didukung oleh lemahnya penegakan hukum dan norma patriarkal. Metode kualitatif deskriptif dan Analisis Wacana Kritis digunakan untuk mengkaji kebijakan negara, peran institusi keluarga, dan pembungkaman korban. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa negara dan institusi sosial justru melanggengkan ketimpangan kuasa melalui kebijakan simbolik dan norma yang represif. Transformasi sistemik diperlukan untuk mewujudkan keadilan substantif.
