Abstract

This study aims to design an employee attendance monitoring system based on a mobile application integrated with GPS tracking at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Banyuwangi. The main issues in the previous attendance system include limited features, error-prone manual processes, and inefficiency in verifying attendance data. The research applies the prototype development method with both quantitative and qualitative approaches, involving interviews, surveys, observations, and application testing. The proposed system features real-time GPS-based attendance, online leave requests, automated notifications, and a reporting dashboard for management. The design results indicate that the system improves data accuracy, minimizes attendance fraud, and simplifies employee monitoring. Therefore, the application is expected to enhance human resource management more effectively, efficiently, and transparently.

Abstract

The historical and cultural identity of Banyuwangi Regency needs to preserve its archaeological heritage. Assigning sites of historical value has, over the years, been left undertaken or ignored by the community at large. The advent of a Geographical Information System has provided an avenue for addressing these challenges through site documentation, preservation, and ease of access for navigation. In this scenario, the accuracy of archaeological data recording and ease of access are of paramount concern and are taken care of by the Banyuwangi Regency Tourism Office.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has encouraged goeverment institutions to shift toward more efficient and digitally documented work systems. One form of innovations that can be implemented is the development of an E-Agenda application as an electronic activity recording and reporting system. This study aims to design a web – based E-Agenda application to support data management and activity monitoring, particularly within the Banyuwangi District Education Branch Office. The system design method used is the prototype method, as it facilitates iterative communication and better accommodates user needs. The stages of this method include requirements gathering, initial design, prototype development, prototype evaluation, refinement, and system implementation. The outcome of this design is a user interface prototype of the E-Agenda application, developed using tools such as figma, with a simple and user – centered display. Evaluation was conducted through user testing within the institution, resulting in a system that is more practical and relevant. By using the prototype approach, the design process becomes more adaptive to user feedback, resulting in a system that is easier to user, more aligned with user needs, and ready for further development

Abstract

The increasing demand for digital transformation in the public sector has encouraged government institutions to optimize their performance through information systems. This study was carried out at the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP) of Banyuwangi Regency still faces challenges in monitoring employee tasks, which are carried out manually and prone to delays, lack of transparency, and imbalance of workloads. This research aims to design a web-based Employee Task Monitoring Information System (SIMANTAP) to support effective and accountable task management. The methodology adopted in this research was the Research and Development (R&D) framework, implemented through the waterfall development model for system development. The data were gathered using several techniques, namely interviews, direct observation, and a review of relevant literature. The system design process involved the preparation of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, class diagrams, as well as a database schema, and user interface prototypes using Draw.io and Figma. The outcome of this study is a system design which allows administrators, supervisors, and technical controllers to monitor, assign, and evaluate employee tasks in real time. This system is expected to improve transparency, workload distribution, and performance evaluation within DPMPTSP Banyuwangi. Beyond the conceptual contribution, the design also provides practical value by supporting daily task management in government institutions, making work supervision more efficient and accountable.

Abstract

Data Analytics is one of the fields of the Merdeka Campus Certified Independent Study and Internship Program (MSIB) offered by PT. Nusantara Education Zone (Zenius Education) as a form of Zenius support in building the future of the young generation to develop and improve soft skills and hard skills in the field of Data Analytics for future industrial needs. In the Independent Campus Certified Internship and Independent Study (MSIB) program, students learn basic fundamentals first such as how to think logically well and correctly, draw correct conclusions, make critical reviews, study basic arithmetic and argumentative essays as a basis for learning before entering the field data analytics. In the field of data analytics, students will learn the basics of becoming a data analyst, such as learning the basics of data analytics, the tools used, learning SQL, Python, Pandas, Data Visualization, creating dashboards, learning looker studio and data storytelling. At the end of the lesson, a final project is held in groups as an evaluation of student learning. In this practical work, the final project discusses home credit prediction with the final result being a dashboard that can be used to make decisions.

Abstract

One of the leading causes of death worldwide is lung cancer, with smoking being the biggest risk factor contributing to nearly 80% of cases. Exposure to carcinogens such as radon, asbestos, and air pollution also increases the risk of developing this disease. Using a dataset that includes various medical factors, this study attempts to apply the Naïve Bayes algorithm to lung cancer classification. Naïve Bayes was chosen because of its high accuracy in classifying difficult data. The results of the study show that Naïve Bayes has an accuracy rate of 92.93% in identifying lung cancer, which is influenced by the quantity of related features and data quality. This algorithm can help detect and prevent lung cancer early, thereby supporting the development of more effective strategies and early diagnosis. The results of this study are expected to be used as a reference in the development of data mining-based medical decision support systems, particularly for the early detection of lung cancer.

Abstract

Currently, the Nahdlatul Ulama Zakat, Infaq, and Alms Collection Institution (LAZISNU) in Limpung District still records all donation data manually in books. This method slows down the process of preparing financial reports, often resulting in delays. Therefore, this research aims to create a web-based financial information system. It is hoped that this system will simplify and expedite the management of donation data and the creation of accurate financial reports. To create this system, researchers used the R&D (Research and Development) method, which encompasses various stages, from problem identification and design to testing and product revision. The system will be built using the PHP programming language and a MySQL database. Essentially, this new system is expected to address the problem of manual recording, making data management and financial reporting at LAZISNU Limpung faster, easier, and more accurate

Abstract

The background of this research is the problem that occurs, namely the large number of downtime on the rui machine at PT. NU. The company has a standard tolerance on downtime which is around 2.5%, while the amount of downtime that occurs in the production process exceeds the specified tolerance limit. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research that aims to determine the dominant problem causing downtime that occurs on the machine and determine the proposed improvements to reduce the number of downtime by using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness and Six Big Losses method. The results of the study indicate that the OEE value on the rui machine for one year is 69%, this value is still below the world standard. The dominant causes of downtime on the machine are Equipment Failure Losses of 42% and Defect Losses of 30.6% of all time losses. Furthermore, the proposed improvements are to repair spare parts on time, provide spare part stock for quick repair, and provide training to employees about the importance of care and maintenance on the machine.

Abstract

This study aims to predict graduate admission outcomes using a Neural Network approach implemented in RapidMiner. The dataset was processed through a series of stages, including data cleaning, normalization, and model training, to ensure optimal learning quality. Model performance was assessed using the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) metric. The resulting RMSE score of 0.054 indicates a low level of prediction error and demonstrates that the constructed model performs reliably. These findings highlight the potential of Neural Networks as an effective analytical tool for estimating student admission likelihood with higher accuracy and supporting data-driven decision-making in the selection process.

Abstract

This study aims to design an enterprise architecture for the Ma’had Aly Putri dormitory information system using the TOGAF ADM framework. The qualitative approach was employed to analyze business processes, data, applications, and technology architecture based on actual dormitory management conditions. The results of this study produce a comprehensive enterprise architecture design that integrates business processes, data entities, application modules, and supporting technology. This research highlights the novelty of applying TOGAF ADM in the context of Islamic boarding school dormitory management to support more structured, efficient, and integrated information systems.
